Hohm wrecker g2

It makes the Lavabox look small even with extended battery :teehee:. For me that's not the worst part. The worst part is they couldn't have made it less ergonomic if they tried (it's a flat out box with no curves). It's probably just me, but I'm over that type of design..

Cheers,
Steve
Steve, I agree to an extent. For me, the G2 is a great mod for what it does. I have a lot of DNA200 mods, as I know you do (your posts have helped me more than a few times), and I feel this does a better job in TC than my DNA's. If I am at work (I work at a vape shop) I use the G2 with my Goon and happily drip away. if I am on the road or out, I use one of my DNA's with a tank. It's all personal preference, but I wouldn't dismiss the mod based solely on the form factor.

Owning a G2 is like being a Motorcyclist, if I have to explain it you just wouldn't understand. You really have to own one to understand the cult like following of this mod. I'm not saying this box is the end all be all because it's not but in order to "get it" you have to spend some quality time with it. Let's face it for $65 at ecig.com you could do a lot worse. When you consider the chip, the build quality and the customer service it's a pretty damn good deal. It's also surprisingly light for its size. Hey, everyone has their own perceptions and preconceived notions along with their own opinions and experiences. That being said, if you have not had some time with this mod but always wanted to give it a shot, or if you're just curious I would say give her a try. You have nothing to lose, god knows if you don't like it you'll have no problem finding a buyer or trading it here.

Its much comfier to hold then you think, the width gives your hand more room and your finger wrap around the button side and your thumb goes right below your tank...its very natural feeling. Holding it the opposite direction is just as comfortable...The edges are nicley beveled so they dont feel like they are stabbing you and the mod itself is lighter then 90% of other boxes Ive tried....its not a burden.

It may not be a pretty mod but its a bulletproof, super lightweight, extremely accurate and very powerful mod that can fit in a front shirt pocket pretty easily and it wont jump around in pockets like other mods. I have Tanks and RDA's that are heavier then the G2 without batteries...

Has anyone had an issue with the "damaged atomizer" warning? according to the manual it means the atty has a short. I was using the atty last night on my VT133 with no issue. But this morning i put it on the G2 and i got that warning. So i double checked everything was tight and still same warning. I put a new coil in it and still same issue. I tried turning it off and on and pressing fire with no atty attached first but as soon as i put it on, i get the "damaged atomizer" warning. I put my tank on it and it works fine no issue. any thoughts or experience with this? I'm limited at work with what I can do, but when I get home i'll slap a build in another RDA and give it a shot and test my current one on my VT133 again.

Just had it happen this morning to me. It's working fine on my Limitless Lux. Maybe it's built too low? An Avocado 24 at .10.

I've had it happen but only with my Limitless and Avocado. Both tanks have a real short 510. Most of the time a reset does the trick. Never happens on any other tanks.

Must be the problem, my Kayfun v5 and Merlin work fine on it. Oh well, I guess that's why I have more than one mod.

I was using it fine on my G2 yesterday as well during the day. was a .17 ohm build. no issues on the G2 yesterday or the Vt133 last night. Issue only came up this morning. Thankfully i brought a tank too to work or i would have been screwed lol

Nevermind. I noticed my RDA 510 is a little shorter then my tank, so I wiggled the G2 510 adapter a bit and now it's working

I've actually had the 'damaged Atomizer' message on the Slice with a crown II and pre-built Rafale Ni coil. No idea why it happened. Switched to another coil and had the same issue then it went away.

I've seen it, sometimes simply changing modes, hitting the fire button, then changing back to the mode you want solves it.
Keep in mind I have NOT updated my firmware.
Still on 2.4.7.

I have not been able to use my derringer on my G2 since I got the mod. The 510 on the rda is quite long. If I leave it loose it works perfect, screw it down snug and damaged atomizer pops up

I don't blame you. If I had as many G2's as you I would procrastinate on updates too. Lol.

haha, I currently only have the 5 color options of the NON LE.
I've been considering adding the LE versions to my collection but with all these other new mods hitting the market it's been rather difficult to justify.
lol

The acrylic tank for the Cleito came from Sick Vapor Co off facebook.
A quick search and you shouldn't have much trouble.
He has them for MANY tanks.
Has tips as well.
He also sells via a few other sites.
They are extremely durable and the Cleito now holds 8ml.

You can get regular glass ones as well.
I purchased 4 of them from Sweet-Vapes

I sell those bubble tanks at my vape shop. If you want to find them in your area, look up Sick Vapors Acrylic Tanks on google. He sells on Etsy. He's in Indiana.
Thanks

A dual 26650 Slice would be the perfect match for my Genelocity Giant. :D

I had the Raven's Moon on the G2 with a dual SS316 .5 ohm build, dialed in the FSK curve to 13.5% 480F 100W. It would work very nicely until I set it down. After a few minutes when I picked it up again to vape there was nothing, with each subsequent try to vape the power started coming back slowly.
Basically it took 4 attempts to get a vape then it was right back to working fine again and you could chain till the tank was empty if you wanted to.

Let it sit and back to the 4 try power build up again.

Any idea as to the possible cause of if this? Thanks.

Did you try resetting the resistance. Every time you put a new tank on you have to hit the fire button until it says no atomizer, while there is no tank on the mod. This clears the previous resistance.

I do that each time I change tanks, a couple of times.
It was very strange and the first time it happened like that. The G2 also powered off on me while sitting for a while a couple of times yesterday in the car.
I picked it up to vape and nothing, had to turn it on. I really hope it's not packing in, that would be disappointing.

I'll put a dripper on it later and see if it happens again. I'm waiting on the Crius Plus for the G2.

That's kind of strange. I would call Hohmtech and speak to Hunter. See what he says. I think they're in on Saturdays. If not definitely Monday.

Haven't ordered from 3fvape. Approx how long does it take to ship from China to the states?
Depending on shipping method I've had things come in as little as 10 days to as long as a month. I find USPS E-Packet to be the best when it comes to shipping from China. I would say 10 days to 3 weeks for that (2 weeks being the norm for me). You never know how quick it will make it through customs.

Cheers,
Steve

3fvape is pretty good, just make sure the epacket option for shipping is what you use and it is about 8 to 10 days. I am waiting on a package from them that was shipped out on the 17th, departed San Francisco 3 days ago but is still in transit and I am only 600 miles away from there, dumb USPS.

I had a package get processed through the San Francisco facility and I'm only 75 miles east of Frisco. The package went all the way up to Washington and then came came down. Took about a week for it to tour the west cost and probably covered 600 to 800 miles. Lmao.. usps is a trip.

This issue has been talked about before. I think it has to do with the firmware. The thing that has helped me was to raise the watts. But I see you're already at 100 watts so it mat not help. Before I was told my settings weren't high enough. But looking at yours I see they were wrong.

Lol. I have had a package make it to the local hub then next stop was Philadelphia :wait: at least it only took 3 days to get back from it's cross country adventure.

I get the damaged atomizer with my clone Kennedy I unscrew it a little so it's looser and it works idk why it has a long 510. The qtip works wonders if it comes up on everything u use. I still have Hohm g2s left if anyone wants one

I had that happen with my first G2, would not work with a couple of Horizontech tanks, the fix was to put a drip tip oring on the 510 of those tanks or to use a mod saver disc to lift the 510 a little. They work on all my other G2's though without the need of the spacer. It only happened one other time with a tobecco supertank using the original coil, it would not work on all my G2's or Slice, I changed the coil and it worked on all of them, I guess they didn't like that coil.
