I use the INW and really don't give steeping a second thought. I basically have my mix ratios set now. So I basically mix, shake, and vape.. Not saying they don't get better after a day or two. Just saying I really don't need to think or worry about it.

The house flavors are less concentrated then lets say the Wera Garden line. The other lines I have no idea about. I use the e aromat and the wera garden lines. I also use fruit style flavors… No tobaccos for me. Quit smoking on purpose. LOL!!

I have no experience with the hs fruits just the tobaccos and yes I find them like that. They really mess me up! not only that i am alergic to somehtiing about them. i get canker sores. I still vape RY1 but not as much now. I will vape it for a day and wake up with a canker sore on inside of my lip everytime.

If i stop it goes away.

Anyways The tobaccos mess me up because I fight the fine line of steeping and fading. When they start to fade now, the RY! I add a bit of VTA from inawera. But I am about to stop it all together. i have not touched it in a week and will wait a bit and then see if it still does it. I just bought a 30ml bottle of flavoring too....lol I really like the flavor too. But I find the steep can be about three days or so and then after a week the start to fade.

That is my experience with them anyways. I find them ver frustrating to mix a big batch and better off mixing what you need in a 2 week period.

You are talking about Fruit though and we are talking about tobacco. I do not steep my fruit more than a day. i don't shake and vape any of them though. i will at least put them in the UC for a few hours before use.

However the wera garden line does require a long steep in my experience but it may depend on your flavors. A matter of fact i find the WG line to need more steep than lets say the toni d line. but I use mainly the Toni d line of flavors and very few fruits, I can count them on one hand. So we are not talking the same thing at all and you are right about fruits!

I think we need to differentuate(sp) from fruit and tobacco and some others.

But when you start to get into the Shisha fruits they need some steeping also i notice the SOTB is more complex then just a straight fruit and is changing over time. I vaped that right out of the UC for a couple hours, and it is still changing on me.

Oh, and I meant to say that with your statement about wanting to learn a flavor's nuances, that's why I am testing every flavor at all. I know people have already tested for recommended % ranges. But, I wanted to get to know my flavors well, to learn where the magic spot is, and where it will turn into something unvapeable and where it shines. I did this because I ordered about 125+ or so flavors right away and just sat and stared at them. I really wasn't sure where to start. Then HIC started posting those amazing recipes and I tried those. Then, I just felt inspired and knew if I wanted to really DIY, I needed to get to know my flavors well.

You really should be doing what you are doing and only using others percents as a starting guide IMO. We are all different as far as taste, and our processes.

You also do a lot of recipes, where I am a standalone type of vaper. If you don't know how your flavors react than your recipes will only be writing on a pc of paper.

For tobacco I really like S'Camel...didn't like the RY4 at all, I'd rather make my own RY...have Dark Fire, never tried it, if it taste like it smells (flower bouquet) I don't want to try it. Didn't like the TAV, may have mixed it too strong. Tobacco Symphony meh....if it has a twang, it ain't my thang. I do use DNB & LSD in most all my tobacco mixes.

BTW if you like S'camel you will most likely find these to your liking as well

Has a slight plum note, with nuts with an ashyness like S'camel.
US_Light_Mix_10.jpg.thumb_150x96.jpg

A sweet tobacco also like S'Camel with an ashy taste.
Usa_mix.JPG.thumb_150x83.jpg

You mentioned TAV, I ssume you are talking about Virginia Tobacco Absolute? That is not meant to mixed as a standalone, but mixed with other tobacco flavors, or fruits to add a tobacco flavor to them. Try mixing it with anyone of your tobaccos like S' Camel. Or with tobacco symphony . Start out at 3-4 drops /10ml up to 1drop/ml

On the tobacco Symphony try doubling the dosage to 1drop/ml and adding VTA at about 5 drops /10ml. It may change you mind on it? Not sure what the Twang means but it should taste like a salty peanut flavor.

I noticed that with the Hangsen Plum I got. It's very good, actually the best plum flavor I've tried. But, it did lose it's oomph after a while. So, most HS fruits are like that? Are the HS tobaccos the same way?

Inawera is what got me to really want to DIY. I started with buying TFA flavors because they were cheap and I'm still only testing TFA mostly, but I can't wait to work with the INW flavors. Do you find the house line is the simplest flavors, least complex, and quicker to steep? And the WG the most complex? I think the Tino line is complex too. I really haven't tested them to have a good feel for them yet. But, I've accumulated about 40+ flavors at this point.

INW Plum and Smoked Plum are the bomb. No flavor fade for me.
If I was to make a food analogy, the house flavors would be main ingredients, WG would be the spice cabinet (except for WG Banana should go in the round filing cabinet) and Shisha would be the liquor cabinet (sort of). That's really too simplistic and there are many exceptions. I love that so many of the 'tobacco' flavors can do double duty. Some of the spiced ones go great with fruit to make a nice fruity vape with no real discernable tobacco taste, but if you add some tobacco absolute and/or a tobacco base, you can make it deeper and more tobacco tasting. Some of the salty 'tobaccos' are excellent for desert vape bases. I love, love, love that they're so versatile like that and you can completely customize what you like. (no they don't pay me lol)

I started with TFA too and got pretty frustrated. The fruits bothered me and the high percentages needed for some of them bothered me. Sometimes the fruits wouldn't be good unless another brand of the same flavor was added. Crazy making. The first time I vaped and LIKED a standalone, all by itself fruit, was INW. (really, they don't give me free shit either haha) I wish they'd come out with some creams but FA is so good for that, it doesn't matter much.

I think I am going to go look thru all my tobaccos from INA..
I really do not use them often, and bout the only thing I am liking nowadays is the shisha line. o_O

here is a tobby recipe I like playing with..

Black Honey Tropical

4% Shisha Coconut INA
3% Gold Ducat INA
2% Black Honey tpa
2% maple syrup tpa
2% banana INA
2% dark chocolate tpa
1% Vanilla Bourbon tpa

@glassgrl "I wish they'd come out with some creams but FA is so good for that, it doesn't matter much."

That was a good analogy..........

They put off there creams to launch the Shisha line. The creams are not standalones either. they are more duets...My rememory;) is bad....but .................nuttycream..........chocolate cream come to mind..........they went through the testing phase but everthing was dropped.

I like TFA cream but not FA cream but don't use them enough. Mainly Bac. Cream. and FA Doesnt have.
What am I missing with the Fa cream, i only used one and still needed 10%

I asked the same question and got snipped at so I dropped the conversation. They mainly wanted to push the Shisha flavors to market. But then asked if they where going to eleminate them and it went down hill.............................
So I decide to mine my own, kind like what I was told....lol;)

Yea was more interested in a plain cream too...............

The shisha line was probably a lot more profitable short-term than a cream line for INW. I hope they develop a good cream line too. If they do, I would use them almost exclusively. There are a few irreplaceable flavors - TFA Brown Sugar, CAP Custard, TFA AP, TFA Honeysuckle (you need a sweetener for some INW fruits, unless you like dry, tart fruit vapes).

@glassgrl, I just ordered Plum, Smoked Plum, and Plum Vodka. As much as I love plum, I'm not sure why I waited so long to order these, except I had HS Plum and was really liking that flavor a lot - didn't feel a need to find a replacement. Taking your analogy, where would the Tino line fall? Another spice cabinet? I haven't tried any shisha flavors and don't think I will, except maybe the rosemary, since it's the only one available, and SOTB.

I have gone too high on INW flavors too. I tried Blackcurrant at 5% - it's like diesel fuel at that %.

I also order Dark Tobacco and am curious about that one. Dark Fire is my favorite so far, that and DNB. I think the tobaccos are the INW crown. Their fruits are great too, but I haven't found any other manufacturer that does tobaccos as well as they do.

@Cessnapix, were you talking to Poland INW?

@flowerpots - I don't know where the Tino line would fall in that analogy. I just haven't used enough to know. What I have used would be next to weird stuff like cooking sherry. lol

No not poland; I was having a conversation with a vendor with similair taste. I had made a comment about 9 months ago if they could ask there chemist to come up with a cream to mix with these fruits and such. I was told they had the two I mentioned out in testing at that time. Personally I was looking for them to put out a plain cream that we could mix with the way we want..... but thought, hey this would be a start! I have noticed when they come up with some new stuff they kind of come up with a range of similar flavors. Like the concetrated pear, cactus, dargon fruit, etc. So thought it was a step forward.

I recently inquired about them again and asked if the project was dropped for good, or just delayed. Then the conversation went south from there. Not sure why it was just a question as simple as that...........

I was thnking last night about this. You know how we all will argue about taste being subjective, yada yada yada, and had read some of the infighting that was going on a while back between sales and the chemist. This is back when they ran out of absolute and changed the DNB for a while. There was a shortage of tobacco absolute everywhere I believe. Someone released a bunch of private emails between the chemist onto the internet.

Wasn't very cool from a consumers point of view. It must have been a disgruntled employee.

But can you imagine with all the different taste everyone has, how the chemist and others must really take it personal.
You know; what do you say to a coworker;
"yea dude nice flavor that one really sucks"...lol;)

I can't take that black currant myself at any percentage. But thats me! We all have different taste that is why ther are so many flavors right.

Personally I can not go to a very high of a percentages on any of these. But I have to understand we all have a different nose and mouth. I don't know where the threshold is when they start to mute because I have never had a need to go that high. I would "suspect" it is well below 10%.............But that is just a WAG.;)

To me the Toni D' line is like a whole different company! There tobacco bases are different. They are really complex flavors. They can't be compared with FA either other than they are both concentrated. I really enjoy their tobacco blends. They are blended into recipes already. They don't have the chemical perfume taste, for the most part. they really don't fit into the earomat line or the WG.

so if I may add to glassgrl's anaolgy the Toni D' line would be the tobacco drawer................

Maybe I have vaped them too long, Cessna.. I was on a big ina kick about 6 months ago..
the only thing I'd keep from them atm is the vanilla for pipe, and the shisha line..

I need to dig out what I have left and let someone else use them..

i use them between 2-4% no more than that.. have yet to see any flavor fade.

I haven't seen any flavor fade either.

I was also saying about muted flavors as well...... like when you mix too high and the flavors get muted. Personally I am into just the Toni D line and the Sisha and earomat fruits. I have a couple WG i like also.

I don't mean to repeat myself like a senile old man, but I have found more All day vapes with the "Inawera Group" Than other flavors I have tried so far.

@Cessnapix, I like disgruntled employees who do things like that because usually they are showing the world what needs to be seen and not cloaked anymore. Whistleblowers are damned for what they do, which is a shame that truth is so readily disgarded for adherence to social norms. Every company has its drama and conflicts and those are boring in and of themselves. But, whatever the chemist was attempting to reveal is probably something as consumers, we should know. But, then if I knew something derogatory about INW, I may not buy from them, so my blissful ingnorance is where I'll stand lol

I would imagine the chemists' jobs are difficult, not any different from a chef, really. I would think the best route would be to imitate the flavor (fruit, tobacco, whatever) as authentically as possibly. You can't make a mango, for example, that everyone likes, but you can authenticate that flavor as best you can. And, I think INW has done a great job in this area. They also produce unique flavors, mostly tobacco mixes, and that's why I think their crown lies there.

I only have a few Tino flavors right now. I haven't worked with them much. The absence of a chemical taste is huge for me though. So, if that is common to this line, I will get more Tino flavors. Tobacco drawer sounds right up my alley.

Yeah, I'm not sure if shipping nic from Poland would cause problems in customs or not. I don't want to try it though and get my order in the same timeframe as a FT order. I really like the INW bases. This will be my 2nd batch of them.

I'm thinking it's like DK or HS also, but not sure. I won't every try it. The only other base I would get is the Virginia one, I think.

It probably depends on how it is shipped. I got some samples from Hangsen sent to me for a review. They where 24mg nic. showed up in 3 days from China through DHL and said essential oils on the box. They had paid a lot of money just for shipping, way more than what the juice was worth.

On the same note I ordered some stuff from another vendor in china and they had a deal on juice so I bought a case of hangsen 10ml bottles. I messed up and hit 100%pg instead of 100%vg. They where like right on top of each other at the time in the menu. They could not cancel it because they ordered direct from hangsen. I told them to just keep it and give it out to there good customers I didnt want it.

Well they didnt listen to me and it got checked at customs. 3 months go by before they can find my package. They tracked it down and asked me to send them $24 more to reship through DHL. By now it is way more than what this thing is worth. I said I don't want the juice just send me the otiginal part. you can keep the juice. Nope, the best we can do is split the cost with you. So I had to send them $10. So 2 weeks later I finally got the juice and the part. I gave away the juice on ECF.

I never orderd from them again.

That is why I won't order nicotine. I'm not sure that the bases won't get stalled. We'll see. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

@glassgrl, I got the other set of bases I had at VT. I would have ordered from them again, but I wanted a few INW flavors that VT doesn't carry yet - plum vodka and ry4. If he'll start carrying more flavors and larger quantities, I'll strictly buy from him.

Got my first INA flavors today
I only ordered two - smoke and prunes, and Gold Ducat. Wow this stuff is strong! 3 drops in 8ml is more than enough. Smoke and Prunes is DELICIOUS...

What does smoke and prunes taste like? I just got smoked plum, and I love that one! I made it yesterday and added a little FA cream. Today it almost tasted as if there was a touch of ginger in it!
