Hi Jimi,
Charcuterie boards are a popular food trend. Also known as grazing boards, they’re fun, creative, festive, and they can turn into edible works of art — but many traditional charcuterie boards are loaded with factory farmed animal products and processed foods.
Can you make a charcuterie board that’s healthy and plant-based, without sacrificing flavor or visual appeal?
Oh, yes, you can.
Get the whole charcuterie board story, and some fabulous recipes, here.
Yours for healthy festivities,
Ocean Robbins
P.S. Now, you can whip up a healthy plant-based charcuterie board that you can share online, or use to impress your next small gathering. Find out all about charcuterie boards, and why you might just grow to love them if you don’t already, here.

Be safe out there - Take these vitamins if you have them
  • Hi Jimi,

    Dr. Osborne here,

My team and I are off for the Christmas holiday!

Things are getting a bit rough out there, so stay on top of your health, and keep that immune system strong. As with most viral infections, there is no treatment. The best protection lies in keeping your health optimized.

I've share this before, and I'm happy to do it again... you can share this with your loved ones who are looking to support their immune system during these times.

This recommendation is for those who want to be preventative, as well as those who are experiencing symptoms:

    Vitamin C:
...To bowel tolerance, but for general immune support, take 2 grams (2,000mg) per day.
...For colds and flu's, take 5 (5,000mg) grams per day, in divided doses, with food.

    Zinc:
    ... For general immune support , take 1-2 tabsules (25mg - 50mg) a day, with food.
... If you are experiencing symptoms, consider a higher dose, like 3-4 tabsules (75mg - 100mg) per day, with plenty of food.

    NAC:
... For general immune support , take 2 capsules (1,500mg) per day, on an empty stomach. ... For those with cold or flu symptoms, take 3 capsules (2,250mg) per day, in divided doses, on an empty stomach.

    Quercetin:
... For general immune support, take 1-2 tabsules (1,000mg-2,000mg) per day.
... For those with cold or flu symptoms, take 3-4 tabsules (3,000mg-4,000mg) per day.

    Vitamin D:
... For general immune support, take 5,000IU per day.
... For those with cold or flu symptoms, consider a higher dose, like 10,000IU per day.

Virid - This formula was designed to support those fighting bacterial or viral infection.
... For immune maintenance, take 2 capsules per day.
... If you are actively experiencing symptoms, take 2 capsules every hour for 6 hours every day, until symptoms subside.

We knew it would happen, Jimi...

But that doesn’t make the news any less tragic:

Kids ages 5-11 are experiencing heart inflammation after being v@cc!nated with the C0VlD shot.

Earlier in the year, we started to hear reports come in about teens experiencing heart inflammation after getting the C0VlD v@cc!ne.

The data was concerning: Myocarditis and Pericarditis, an inflammatory disease of the heart or the outer lining of the heart, was occurring in teenage boys soon after being v@cc!nated.

In addition to this disturbing news, the younger the teen, the more likely they were to develop heart problems.

At the same time, the push for v@cc!nating children as young as age 5 had already begun…

And, despite the fact that C0VlD is very mild in children and the risk of serious illness is virtually nil, less than 2 months ago the jab was approved for emergency use in kids ages 5-11.

mail

The safety studies were, to put it succinctly, a joke.

The benefits of an untested jab that’s been proven to have serious side effects in teens and adults in no way outweigh the minimal risks that kids face from the virus.

V@cc!nating kids will in no way prevent the spread of C0VlD in adults, because the shot doesn’t work that way.

Still, since the approval, around 48 million kids have received the Pfizer shot.

Now that reports of myocarditis in children are coming in, is the CDC reconsidering its stance on v@cc!nating kids?

Nope.

Instead, the powers that be have doubled down and continue to claim that the risks of C0VlD somehow outweigh the risks of the experimental v@cc!ne.

They’re saying that myocarditis is “mild and treatable” in children, and the recommendation to v@cc!nate our most vulnerable population continues…

Despite the lack of evidence that it’s helpful in any way, and despite the evidence of harm that’s already beginning to appear just weeks after the shot was approved for emergency use in kids.

In fact, Fauci says that C0VlD jabs for babies age 6 months and up are next… and that we’ll be seeing approval “in the first quarter of 2022.”

This is nothing short of mind-boggling. How can anyone justify putting children in harm’s way when they are in little to no danger from C0VlD?

Unfortunately, this is only the beginning. The ramifications of what’s happening will affect us for generations to come.

What’s your stand on C0VlD v@cc!nes and children? Hit reply and let us know…

To your health and freedom,

Hi Jim,

Fibro Stress and Trauma

Research and patient surveys confirm the association of stress, trauma and Fibromyalgia.

In one survey conducted by The Fibromyalgia Network, sixty-two percent of respondents list physical or emotional stress as the initiating factor in their fibromyalgia. I believe the percentage of people experiencing stressful events prior to their diagnosis is much greater. In fact, if we look deep enough at the underlying cause of fibromyalgia we’d no doubt find that short- and/or long-term stress has been the cause or one of the main triggers that initiated their symptoms. This can often be traced back to early childhood!
Most of us can handle the ups and downs of our daily lives, even the occasional catastrophe. We dig in our heels, persevere, and eventually learn to cope. “Stress” is experienced when a person perceives that the demands made upon her exceed the mental, physical, personal, or social resources she is able to mobilize.
Some individuals have an altered stress-coping system, which prevents them from managing daily stress. For example, studies suggest that cumulative effects of physical, mental, chemical, or emotional burdens in early childhood disrupt normal homeostatic stress-coping abilities, thus making them more susceptible to the effects of stress – and illness – later in life. (A possible reason for this is an overstimulation or dysfunction of the HPA axis in the brain, which is discussed in detail below.) In fact, retrospective studies show that people who have been emotionally, physically, or sexually abused as children are at great risk of developing certain symptoms, including many associated with FMS. (continue reading below...)

Cornish Game Hens with Ginger Glaze
This Christmas try a dish that is sure to delight with Liliana's Cornish Game Hens with Ginger Glaze. Watch Here

Roasting at a high temperature and using small Cornish hens means that these orange-ginger glazed beauties are done after only 25-30 minutes in the oven. Line your pan with parchment for easy cleanup.
Ingredients: Servings 10
For the Ginger Glaze

● 1 cup fresh organic orange juice (about 2 oranges)
● 1-2 tbsps. orange zest, (1 whole orange peel)
● 2 tbsps. minced peeled fresh ginger
● 1 tsp. Himalayan salt
● 2 tbsps. Lakanto Maple syrup
● 3 tbsps. grass-fed butter

For the Cornish Game Hens

● ⅓- ½ cup organic chicken or turkey stock
● ½ cup of white wine
● 1 orange
● 2 lemons
● 20 springs fresh rosemary
● 1 large bunch parsley
● 5 (1 1/2-pound) Cornish hens
● Cooking spray
● 1-2 tsp. salt
● Pepper
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
2. Combine first 7 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Combine broth and simmer to reduce by half until it is a nice syrupy glaze. Set aside.
3. Place hen halves, meaty sides up, on a parchment pan coated with cooking spray; sprinkle hen cavities with salt, pepper and freshen cavities with some lemon and orange juice. Stuff the bird cavities with a ¼ of an orange that you had reserved from juicing and generously stuff the cavities with the rosemary and parsley.
4. Place bird in roasted pan so they are not touching each other. Place in oven on middle rack. Mix the wine and broth together in a small bowl and pour over birds after 15-20 minutes then continue to cook for another 10 minutes.
5. Insert a meat thermometer into meaty part of a thigh, making sure not to touch bone. Bake at 450°F for 25-30 minutes or until the thermometer registers 160°F and glaze bird by spooning mixture over birds and continue to cook until the thermometer registers 165°F. Remove from oven and let it rest for 10 minutes covered as it will continue to cook without heat, to maintain moisture.
6. To serve: Remove herbs with tongs and cut bird down the middle into two halves, remove backbone with a sharp knife and arrange on platter, garnish with orange wedges and enjoy!

Food is medicine, perhaps even the most powerful drug on the planet with the power to cause or cure most disease.
So if food is more than just calories, if food is information that controls every aspect of our biology and health, then the fundamental question is what should we eat to feel good, lose weight, and stay healthy?
This week on The Dhru Purohit Podcast, Dhru sat down with Simon Hill to talk about why we are confused about what to eat, how our food choices affect our health, and the key things we can do today to improve our overall health.

10 CRITICAL Things to Remember During the Holidays

1.
Always choose love. Just remember that the people that are the hardest to love are the ones that need it the most.

2. Be love, instead of right.

3. Everyone is doing the best they can with the “tools” they have at the moment (many just don’t have the “tools”)

4. Forgive, let go and move forward. Do it for yourself.

5. Stop trying to control people (what they should say or do and how they should behave, etc.)

6. Stay away from discussing politics or vaccines (that never ends well). If the conversation does go there, just revert to #2 above. :)

7. Take the time to do something nice for someone else (without expecting anything in return)

8. Reach out. This is a difficult time for many (especially those that have lost loved ones and those that are alone), so remember to reach out to them and shower them with your love.

9. Focus on what's important. RELATIONSHIPS—that is the most important "thing" in our lives. Don't neglect, ignore, or dismiss the people who mean the most to you. Life is short. They won't always be there.

10. Choose love, love, love (worth repeating). It’s really the answer to everything. Period (mic drop). :)
