They say hindsight is 20/20, right?

Hey Jim,

This is in no way a recommendation from Dr. Neal Barnard or Mastering Diabetes to add sodas and candy bars back into your diet.

But sugar does not cause type 2 diabetes.

In fact, this is already an established consensus among health professionals.

Should you limit your sugary delights though? Absolutely.

That as well is a universal recommendation from nutrition experts to prevent diabetes. If it's not the sodas, it's definitely not the sugar coming from fruits and other healthy carbohydrates.

The bottom line is, more than sugary foods, what causes type 2 diabetes is fat.

Diets high in fat are the culprit behind toxic fatty breakdown products and free radicals that block insulin-glucose communication.​

Recent studies have detected these endocrine disruptors in the blood or urine of nearly everyone, impacting everything from our fertility and sexual function to metabolism, sleep, and immune response.

It’s terrifying, which is why Center for Food Safety (CFS) just sued to finally force the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to test ALL pesticide chemicals for endocrine effects.

Decades ago, Congress directed EPA to screen all pesticides for possible endocrine disruption. But 26 years later, they’ve completed testing for just 34 out of 1300 registered pesticides! And for the last seven years they’ve done zero testing whatsoever!

It’s outrageous. And dangerous. But together we’re going to do something about it.

This lawsuit is our best chance at forcing the EPA to save us from dangerous endocrine disruptors. But the work is just beginning and we need to ramp up our legal team – will you chip in to help us win?
