FULL LENGTH EPISODE |
Renowned French physician, microbiologist, and infectious disease expert Didier Raoult, M.D., sits down with Del to revisit the injustices of the COVID-19 pandemic. As one of the most controversial figures of the pandemic, Raoult was among the first to advocate for a cheap, repurposed drug that he claimed showed promise in treating COVID. But what followed was a storm of censorship, scientific suppression, and personal attacks. In this explosive interview, Raoult reveals what really happened, the global forces that worked to discredit his findings, and why the scientific community turned against him. Plus, hear his startling position on the origins of COVID-19, including his unexpected take on the Chinese lab leak theory. Guest: Didier Raoult, M.D. |
Hi Jimi, |
For more than four decades, I’ve devoted my life to a simple but powerful mission: to support as many people as possible to make food choices that are healthy, ethical, and sustainable. In 1987, I published Diet for a New America, a book that was credited with helping to “awaken the conscience of a nation” and that helped spark the modern movement for whole-food and plant-based eating. |
In the years since, I’ve had the honor of reaching millions through my books, speeches, and advocacy — working to spread the truth about how our food choices shape our future and the future of life on Earth. |
And for the past 14 years, one of the greatest joys of my life has been launching Food Revolution Network and co-hosting the annual Food Revolution Summit alongside my son, Ocean. Together, we’ve brought the world’s leading experts in food and health to millions of people, sharing life-changing insights and empowering a revolution grounded in wisdom, science, and love. |
Now, the time has come for me to pass the torch. |
As some of you know, more than 70 years ago, I contracted polio as a child. Thanks in no small part to the healthy lifestyle principles that we promote, I was able to thrive for many decades, even running marathons and competing in triathlons. But in recent years, Post-Polio Syndrome has forced me to slow down. Though my heart is as committed as ever, my body is asking me to step back from the front lines of the movement to which I have dedicated most of my adult life. |
And so, with deep gratitude and a lot of love, I want to share that I will not be co-hosting this year’s Summit. |
While I won’t be co-hosting, I’ve been fully involved behind the scenes — helping to shape the content, select the speakers, and ensure that this year’s Summit is a truly transformative experience. We’ve brought together 45 of the world’s most trusted experts to share the latest, most important food and health breakthroughs. |
And let me assure you, the Food Revolution is alive, thriving, and growing! |
My son and co-founder, Ocean Robbins, will lead this year’s Summit alongside Nichole Dandrea-Russert, RDN, a brilliant dietitian with decades of experience helping people use food to optimize their health. I couldn’t ask for more passionate and capable hands to carry this mission forward. |
Tomorrow, you’ll receive your official invitation to join us. And I urge you — don’t miss it. |
I think this is going to be the biggest, most impactful Food Revolution Summit Docuseries yet. |
I want you to have every opportunity and support to take charge of your health, nourish your body, and create a future filled with vitality and joy. |
So when you see the invitation in your inbox, take action. |
Do this for yourself. For your loved ones. For your future and the future of our world. |
As I pass the torch, I do so with immense gratitude. For the privilege of doing this work. For the extraordinary team and community that make it possible. And most of all, for you — because your choices, your heart, and your voice are what truly fuel this revolution. |
With love and appreciation, |
John Robbins |
P.S. If you’d like to learn more about my health journey, here’s a deeply personal video I made with Ocean a couple of years ago. And if you’re curious about the story of how I walked away from my father’s Baskin-Robbins ice cream empire to follow a different path—and how, in time, we discovered that blood can indeed be thicker than ice cream—you might want to watch the feature documentary film Love Over Money. (By the way, Summit registrants will receive a free viewing pass!) |

Hmm, I’ll get you the backup food supply basics Ruth created as soon as I can find it. Hey I got the sound fixed on this, but the camera is a bit shaky. I’m using a new degoogled Pixel 7a. I think I’ll switch back to my other camera. Thanks so much for the feedback on the other videos I took. |

The study, published in Reproductive Sciences this week (March 21, 2025), also found that glyphosate may be tied to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis, due to its endocrine-disrupting capabilities and reproductive toxicity. PCOS is a hormonal disorder that affects the ovaries, fertility, and periods, among other symptoms. Endometriosis is an often painful condition when tissue similar to the uterine lining (endometrial tissue) grows outside the uterus. Both conditions are among the leading causes of infertility.” Read more about the multiple toxic effects of glyphosate exposure TAKE ACTION: Make Your State the First to Ban Glyphosate, Monsanto’s Roundup Weedkiller! ![]() ![]() ![]() TAKE ACTION Stop Bayer’s Sneak Attack!Eleven corrupt State Attorneys General from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, and South Dakota, have petitioned the Environmental Protection Agency on behalf of Bayer (Monsanto), Syngenta (ChemChina), and Corteva (Dow-DuPont-Pioneer) to take away your right to know about pesticide toxicity—and your right to sue these companies for failure to warn.Juries awarded billions in compensation to Roundup-exposed cancer victims, because Monsanto knew its herbicide caused non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma but failed to warn its customers. Bayer should change their product formulations, but they want to change the law instead. They’re pressuring state legislators, telling them they’d sooner take Roundup herbicide off the market than make weed-killers that won’t give farmers cancer. Georgia’s legislature is the first to cave. A law that would deprive Georgia’s pesticide victims of their right to sue awaits Governor Brian Kemp’s signature. The federal Environmental Protection Agency, long controlled by Monsanto, won’t admit that Roundup causes cancer, so they don’t require the weed killer to be labeled as a carcinogen. Bayer’s theory, submitted by the eleven State Attorneys General, is that if the EPA ignores the cancer risks so should the states and the courts. In 2019, Trump’s EPA told California that it couldn’t require cancer warnings on glyphosate-based herbicides like Roundup. Then, in 2022, Biden’s EPA said it could, as long as it included a disclaimer that the EPA doesn’t think glyphosate causes cancer. The eleven State Attorneys General want the EPA to go further and prohibit “any state labeling requirements inconsistent with EPA findings and conclusions from its human health risk assessment on human health effects, such as a pesticide’s likelihood to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm.” Bayer’s hoping this will relieve them of their duty to warn under state tort laws that give injured people the right to sue. Pre-harvest desiccation with glyphosate (increased 400% in two decades) leaves residues in wheat products that may disrupt gut microbiome and contribute to digestive disorders * Modern wheat varieties have been selectively bred for higher yields and industrial processing compatibility rather than nutritional value or digestibility. The shift from slow fermentation methods to quick-rise commercial yeast has also eliminated the microbial diversity and protein breakdown that made traditional bread nutritious and easier to digest * “Enriched flour” contains synthetic nutrients and iron shards (ferrous sulfate) that can contribute to oxidative stress and may not provide the intended health benefits * Traditional sourdough fermentation breaks down gluten proteins (particularly gliadin) by more than 50% over 24 hours, making bread more digestible for many people with sensitivities * Most commercial bread contains hidden additives like inflammatory seed oils and harmful chemicals like potassium bromate (banned in many countries but not the U.S.)” Read about what changed- is bread itself the problem, or is there more to this story? |
Hi Jimi, |

You may have heard a lot of chatter about frozen fruits and vegetables not being as nutritious as fresh fruits and vegetables. We’ll just come right out and say it, don’t believe everything you hear. The truth is, in some cases, fruits and vegetables you find in the freezer section can be healthier than their fresh counterparts. Here are a few reasons why.Frozen Fruits and Veggies Are at Their PrimeFrom the very moment that a fruit or vegetable is harvested, its nutrient content begins to decline. There are two factors which affect the nutritional value. One is how mature it is when it is picked. The other is how long after harvesting it is eaten. Typically, fruits and vegetables which are destined for the freezer are allowed to fully ripen before they are harvested, and they are frozen soon after they are picked. This means they are still rich in vitamins which are often under-consumed such as vitamins E, C, K, and folate and minerals like magnesium, zinc, and iron.Frozen Fruits and Veggies Retain NutrientsIn many cases, frozen fruits and veggies are just as nutrient-rich as fresh produce, if not more so. This is because fresh produce is often in transit for several days before it reaches the shelves. During transportation, beneficial nutrients such as antioxidants like lutein, polyphenols, and beta-carotene begin to deteriorate. These nutrients will continue to decline, even when produce is refrigerated. However, the freezing process does not destroy these nutrients; it protects them.Frozen Fruits and Veggies are Additive-freeContrary to what many people believe, no unwanted substances are added to bags frozen produce, so all you’ll find on the ingredients list is the fruit or vegetable in the bag. If you want fruits and veggies that will last longer than fresh items, frozen items are always a better option than canned goods, as the latter contain additives and preservatives which have a negative impact on their nutritional value.Frozen Fruits and Veggies are Super VersatileIf you are a fan of seasonal fruits and vegetables, you may begin to miss strawberries and bell peppers during the winter months. But you will be able to find them in the freezer section year-round. You can keep your freezer stocked with your favorite fruits and veggies and use them whenever you wish to. Frozen produce also makes cooking very convenient because they cut out all the preparation time. The Bottom LineEating a diet that’s rich in fruits and vegetables can reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, and certain forms of cancer. Fruits and vegetables also have a high fiber content, which can also reduce your risk of obesity and type 2 diabetes.Although freezing may slightly alter the flavor and composition of a particular fruit or vegetable, sometimes this can prove to be more beneficial. Hands down, there is no specific winner when it comes to fresh vs. frozen fruits and vegetables as it will depend on where you buy your produce and the process which is used to freeze them. It will also depend on the particular fruit or vegetable. Choose fresh fruits and veggies which are locally grown so that you can be sure they are at their best. If you are buying frozen fruits and veggies, look for items which are labeled as “individually quick frozen” so you can be sure they are the highest quality. |
