What do you think when you think of your lymph?

Cellulite?

Cancer?

Edema?

Maybe a couple of other things but not much else likely.

What if I told you that your lymph is connected to so many other things?

Your circulation, your organ function, your complexion, your mood, your anxiety, your bowel movements, your immune system, your memory issues, your pain….

Stagnation in the body occurs when we emotionally or mentally resist.

This means that we can be doing all the best self care practices for our body but if we are tense, tight or bound from our emotional body...there will be no flow.

No flow physically. No flow emotionally.

Health is about flow.

Nature does not stangate.

Nature is in constant change.

Our job as humans is to allow ourselves to align to these natural rules of life so that we can find health and vibrancy within the patterns, rhythms and change that nature demonstrates.

One thing that you can start doing right now to improve your lymph flow is to take a moment, lay on your bed, put a hand on your belly and breathe.

Inhale for a count of 4.

Hold for a count of 4.

Exhale for a count of 4.

Hold for a count of 4.

Continue this breathing pattern for a few minutes until you find yourself dropped deeper into your body.

Ask yourself what it is that you need at this moment? What do you feel?

Both the act of deep breathing and connecting with your emotional body will help to create more physical flow within.

There's something truly beautiful happening in the world. Those who are putting kids first are finally winning...

earlier this year, a private school in Miami named Centner Academy took a courageous stand to protect their children against both inhumane COVID guidelines and the possible adverse effects of the experimental COVID jabs on the non-vaccinated.

So how great was today. This was all from actual meeting, seeing and hearing first hand in our country town.
Shelves were scarce of products, eggs were near out of date. From the manager "we are getting the reject stuff from Melbourne (our capital city) the near and out of date stock." Yep, those in Melbourne are getting the good food and us in the country towns the near expired and throw away food. From a health worker "in Melbourne they are getting any Vac they want to choose, here there is no choice, Astra or nothing!"
Meat wise it's like Zombie end of the World as are many other products. I asked "is it like that in Melbourne!?" Answer "No, im in touch and the manager, they are getting all the best of everything, we are getting the left overs!"
The motto of here, what a joke, "we are all in this together".....makes me want to vomit each time on TV I hear it from D..
Us in country Vic, the small towns, are being treated like dogs to eat the cities scraps.

Protect Your Gut With Daily Fiber

We've long known that if you're overweight or obese, your diet (fueled by sugars, unhealthy fats, and highly processed foods) damages your heart and raises your risk for cancer, diabetes, and other chronic diseases.

Studies have also found that in overweight people, those food choices mess with your guts, making you more vulnerable to gut-based bacterial infections like from E. coli and inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's.

But according to a new lab study in the American Journal of Physiology-Endocrinology and Metabolism, it isn't being obese that makes it harder for you to resist bacterial infections in your intestinal tract. The problem is a lack of fiber, whether you're overweight or not.

To protect your innards from outside invaders and inside troublemakers, get a daily dose of fiber from 100% whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and legumes. Aim for 25 grams of fiber daily for women and 38 grams for men — slightly less for those over age 50, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

For instance, that could mean unsweetened oatmeal with fruit for breakfast; a hearty salad with chickpeas, a variety of veggies, plus lean protein for lunch; and roasted veggies, quinoa, and a salmon burger for dinner.

You might have heard that dopamine is the "feel good" neurotransmitter. In many ways, it is. Dopamine is made by the body, and your nervous system uses it to send messages between nerve cells. That’s why it’s sometimes called a chemical messenger. Dopamine plays a big role in how we feel pleasure. It’s a big part of our unique human ability to think and plan. It also helps us strive, focus, and find things interesting!

*-- Exercises for Your Knees --*

Just like with any other exercise it is so important that you warm up first! You can ride a stationary bike for about 5 minutes, take a brisk 2-minute walk while pumping your arms, or do 15-20 wall push-ups followed by the same number of calf raises. Doing this will help you get more out of your workout, prepare you to stretch, and lower your risk of an injury.

If your knee's not at its best, start with a simple strengthening exercise for your quadriceps, the muscles in the front of the thigh. This move puts little to no strain on the knee. Lie on your back on the floor or another flat surface. Bend one knee and place your foot flat on the floor. Keeping the other leg straight, raise it to the height of the opposite knee. Repeat 10-15 times for three sets.

Stand facing the back of a sturdy chair, other support such as the back of a couch, or a wall bar at the gym. You can also do this on the stairs, holding on to the banister with your heels hanging off the edge of the step. Slowly raise the heels as high as you can, then lower. Do three sets of 10-15. When it becomes easy, lift one foot slightly off the floor, with all your weight on the other foot.

Gentle is good. So skip high-impact activities such as running or intense aerobics. Notice what feels right for you. For example, some people love elliptical machines, but others don't. Swimming, jogging in water, or water aerobics are often great! Double-check with your doctor about your exercise plan.

Exercise should never cause pain or make it worse. Remember: Muscle soreness after a hard workout is normal. But sharp, shooting, or sudden pain in the muscles or joints means you should stop and check with your doctor.

“You have cancer.”

Elaine Gibson will never forget hearing those words.

Is This Communism?​

I believe that this is the most common question that comes up for people when they read the book or watch the movie I've been talking about recently ...
... the film called InterReflections that is based on the book, The New Human Rights Movement by Peter Joseph, and is co-produced and filmed by Rob Herring, who co-created The Need to Grow (see below).
As I see it, the book and the movie essentially argue that we're going to stay stuck in a degenerative death spiral if we perpetuate a system that is based on scarcity, competition, and "free market" capitalism.
Like most people, I am wary of proposals that veer toward communism, excessive government control, nationalization of private property, and/or other facets of compulsory collectivism.
But I think it's eminently possible to have a society in which people voluntarily and happily agree to pool assets and work together, each contributing what they are most equipped and inspired to contribute, which is part of what the book and movie suggest is necessary for a regenerative future.
The questions that immediately come up for most of us (myself included) include, "Won't there be a lot of free-loaders that don't contribute?", "Wouldn't it be unfair for everybody to be equally rewarded for unequal contributions?", "Why would I give up my right to private property?", etc.
I certainly don't have the answers, but I can imagine and intuitively sense that there could be a system that includes both private and collective ownership (but not government ownership as the collective ownership), is voluntary and peaceful (instead of compelled and violent), uses new forms of currency and trade (instead of government- and bank-controlled currency), includes incentives and rewards for greater contribution, shifts to greater decentralization of governance, etc.
In other words, I can imagine a society that includes the best of existing ideologies like capitalism, communism, socialism, libertarianism, etc without the baggage and disadvantages of each.
I don't know if this is how the author sees it, but I think he and I agree that in a more ideal society the human psyche would be liberated from the scarcity-based drives for survival, security, control, and power, shifting to abundance-based drives like altruism, generosity, creativity, connection (with each and with Nature), spiritual development, etc.
The book gave some examples of how differently the human psyche and society has manifested in at least some pre-agricultural indigenous / hunter-gatherer groups that were based more in cooperation than competition, in an ecological and spiritual relationship with Nature instead of one based on control and exploitation of natural resources, in a gifting economy as much or more than a trade-based economy, etc.
As I recall, the book provided some evidence that hunter-gatherer tribes didn't really have a concept of scarcity, even though they almost certainly would have experienced resource limitations at times.
I believe there were also examples of how pre-agricultural societies used social pressure to effectively discourage free loaders while still caring for their wounded, ill, and elderly.
These examples from pre-agricultural, hunter-gatherer societies provide fodder for the imagination of how different things could be, and they counter the dogma of Darwinian and social dominance theories.
In fact, I thought that the discussion of social dominance theory in the book was one of its most interesting contributions.
However, surprisingly absent from the book and the movie is much (if any) discussion of our re-integration with Nature as part of a regenerative future.
So before you read the book or watch the movie, first watch The Need To Grow, for three reasons:
  1. It is much shorter than InterReflections or the book, The New Human Rights Movement.
  2. It reveals the "Green Power House", a key existing "technology" that integrates some "Nature" and could provide an important part of the technological foundation for the sort of regenerative society portrayed at the end of InterReflections. That way the movie's ending won't actually seem so far-fetched. The Green Power House and a handful of other technologies are really all it would take to create off-grid, decentralized, self-sufficient, regenerative communities.
  3. Once you get to know Rob Herring from watching The Need to Grow, you'll be able to spot and further enjoy his cameo appearances in InterReflections.
