How Gut Bacteria Can Affect Weight

Researchers have discovered that gut bacteria can influence whether a person will be fat or thin. For instance, the gut bacteria in people who are thin are generally more diverse.

When you eat a meal, your gut secretes hormones that activate signals of pathways to the brain. Eventually, these signals relay the message the body is full, and so food consumption can stop.

In twin studies, scientists looked at gut bacteria in obese and lean people. They found that slender people had more diverse intestinal flora, especially of a type called Bacteroidetes, which are microbes that efficiently break down bulky plant starches and fibers into energy.

Researchers also have tested this hypothesis in studies involving mice that were bred to be genetically identical.

The mice were raised in a germ-free environment to rid their bodies of any bacteria, then had their guts populated with intestinal microbes collected from obese women or their lean twin sisters. The mice ate identical diets, but those who received the bacteria from the heavier twin ended up with a higher ratio of body fat.

Another way gut microbes may shape bodies is through their influence over food cravings. The medical community used to think cravings were the body’s way of letting us know we were deficient in a particular nutrient. But emerging science suggests these cravings may be shaped by gut bacteria.

For instance, researchers have discovered that the urine of people who crave chocolate contains very different microbiological components than those who do not. This holds true even if they eat identical diets.

Now, celery juice is having a moment. Some folks claim it can cure everything from acne to cancer. Skeptical? You should be. Let’s break down what celery juice can and cannot do.



What Celery Juice Can Do


Chugging a cold glass of celery juice does several things for your well-being. Most of them are good; some of them are not. Here are five things that celery juice can do for you:



Boost Your Nutrient Intake


Celery juice is rich in an assortment of nutrients, including vitamins C and K, calcium, potassium, folate and several others. In fact, juiced celery is filled with more nutrition than a stalk of celery itself since the majority of its fiber has been removed. More on that in a bit, though.



Keep You Hydrated


Because the neon green juice is mostly water, it’s supremely hydrating. It’s also a healthier alternative to sugary drinks such as sodas and fruit juices. A cup of celery juice contains only 5 grams of naturally occurring sugar and roughly 40 calories.



Reduce Inflammation


Celery juice may also be able to reduce inflammation thanks to the presence of flavonoids, which are powerful plant compounds that act like antioxidants. Research suggests that eating a diet that’s loaded with antioxidants can decrease your risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease and certain cancers.



Raise Your Sodium Intake


While celery is high in a host of helpful nutrients, it’s also high in sodium. If you’re on a low-sodium diet, you should probably look for another beverage. Even if you’re not, you should limit yourself to only one glass, maybe two, of celery juice each day to remain within the recommended daily allowance of sodium for most men and women.



Cause You To Eat More


As noted above, celery is low in fiber. On the one hand, that’s good because it allows other nutrients to shine. On the other hand, that’s bad because your body needs fiber; it’s instrumental to gut health, healthy blood sugar levels and low cholesterol. It’s also what helps you feel full after eating or drinking. Swap out a healthy lunch with celery juice, and you may find yourself snacking all the way to suppertime.



What Celery Juice Cannot Do


In recent years, the power of celery juice has taken on an almost mythical quality. In reality, it’s vegetable juice. More specifically, here are two things celery juice cannot do for you:



Cure You of Anything


While antioxidant-rich foods and beverages including celery juice may lower your risk of developing certain cancers, celery juice is not a cure for cancer — or anything else. What’s more, the research that suggests it may be effective in fighting diabetes and obesity is still relatively new and limited in scope. Science may one day find that downing a glass of celery juice cures everything from acne to male-pattern baldness, but that day has yet to arrive.



Rid Your Body of Toxins


Celery juice is not, as some diet scams claim, a detoxifier. Going on a celery juice cleanse won’t do anything but leave you hungry, fatigued and wishing you had a Bloody Mary to shove that celery into instead. Your body has its own system for removing toxins. It’s powered by your kidneys, liver, lungs and intestines, not by juice.



The Final Verdict on Celery Juice


Having a glass of celery juice every now and then is a great way to boost your antioxidants and cut down on sugary drinks. It’s not a tonic that will cure what ails you, though. For optimal health, the nutritional song remains the same: Eat whole grains, lean proteins, healthy fats and a colorful array of fruits and veggies — including celery.

5. Enjoy an infrared sauna for 20 minutes, four times weekly. Infrared spectrum light triggers heat within your body (but not in the room around you) to ease aches and pains, and reduce stress. If you have heart issues, ask your doctor if it's okay.

I am getting bombarded with frantic emails from people who are feeling ill and wanting my guidance and protocols. I know that I have done a few podcasts and emails about it in the past, but I also know it's hard to keep track of everything. And so, here it is, so it's at the top of your inbox and you have it handy just in case you may need it.

Whether you are one of the many who are feeling sick right now or you want to be proactive, here are my tried-and-true and most updated protocols.

If you are sick - Use the below for 7-10 days or till you feel better

Vitamin C - 500 mg every hour to equal to 5000-6000mg per day in divided doses. I personally use C+Biofizz which you pop in water for a fizzy drink, but if you prefer capsules, the Stellar C is great). Please note that if you experience loose stools when taking vitamin C, you may want to try liposomal vitamin C because it helps the body absorb through the mucous membranes in your mouth first (just remember to keep this one refrigerated.)

SPM Supreme - 3 gel caps twice per day. The higher dose is extremely helpful when sick to lower inflammation and I have seen great results in preventing long haul syndrome.

Trizomal Glutathione - 1 tsp first thing in the morning and 1 tsp at bedtime. This is great to help balance the immune system and prevent long haul as well as viral mediated autoimmune/Hashi flare ups.

Allimax - 3 capsules twice per day with any meals.

Zinc - 1 capsule twice per day with any meals.

Quercetin and Nettles - 3 capsules per day with any meals. This helps zinc get into the cell to deactivate viruses.

Vitamin D Supreme - 10,000 IU per day


For Prevention - The below protocol can be used on a daily basis

Vitamin C

Nasal Rinse - Infections can often hang out and multiply in the nose before they progress further so nasal rinsing is a great way to keep things clean. We wash our hands to keep germs away so why not the same for your nose? I use something similar called the NeilMed as I find it easier to use than a traditional Neti pot. I add a tablespoon of Silvercillin mixed into the distilled water and salt solution for an extra boost of antimicrobial activity.

Well I’m just a little upset right now Jimi.

Just found out that our county has once again enacted a mask mandate for all indoor spaces, effective tomorrow… due to the “extreme danger” of the MORONIC variant. ;)

Because if it didn’t work for the first two years… surely it’s going to do the job this time, right?

Back to bracing for conflict every time I go grocery shopping, back to everyone looking at each other like they’re some kind of bio weapon…

And back to all the division in general these things create.

Forget the major South African study showing the MORONIC variant is more resistant to the injections, and causes less severe illness anyway.

Forget the fact that most cases attributed to the MORONIC variant in the US have been among those who have been “fully injected.”

Forget the huge study out of Denmark showing that most of the cases of the MORONIC variant were among young, healthy, “fully injected” people.

The defending champion of the Australian Open, Djokovic had been preparing to compete in the tournament again this year when he was denied entry into Australia upon the rejection of his visa due to his not being "vaccinated" for COVID-19.

Yet the hospitals are filing up with patients just as bad as they did last year at this time, when the public could not even get vaccinated yet. I just don't know if those hospitalized are sick from Covid or from the jabs. We know how the media lies.
You make a good point, are they filling up because of rona, the jabs, or other reasons? At least the new gov of NY is showing some sense and is asking for reports of whether they are there because of the rona or other reasons and happened to have rona. Nobody in power will admit the jabs are causing problems.

I look for the hospitals to be jammed with NON rona cases since those who took the poison pin will have NO immune system of their own, they sold it out to Big Pharma who NOW is their immune system :facepalm: . Why I recommend cold showers
To be honest, I didn't believe the hype around cold showers until I tried them for myself. Now, I find it easier to concentrate and I'm more motivated. Taking a cold shower provides more health benefits than you may think!

1. Better Circulation


The second cold water touches your skin, it shifts blood circulation into overdrive. This is what people talk about when they say a cold shower gets your "blood pumping.” The better your circulation, the more oxygen and nutrients for your heart, brain, and other organs. It also helps flush toxins from the body.

2. Alertness and Mental Focus


Do you feel sluggish when you get out of bed or struggle to get anything done for the first hour at work? The answer isn’t a bigger cup of coffee. Take a cold shower instead. The cold water wakes you up instantly and keeps you alert all morning!

3. Post-Workout Recovery


Many people notice that a quick cold shower after exercising reduces muscle soreness. You probably want to get rid of that sweaty feeling anyway, so you may as well kill two birds with one stone. Plus, your body cools off faster, so it’s actually three birds with one stone.

Two separate mandates are on the line.

The first is the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) vaccine mandate, which requires all healthcare workers and staff at such facilities subject to federal regulation, to get the Covid-19 vaccine or submit to regular testing for the virus.

The second is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) vaccine mandate, which is actually much larger in size and scope, and would require all businesses operating in the United States with more than 100 employees to implement their own policy requiring their workers to get the Covid-19 vaccine, or face penalties such as citations and fines.

The OSHA mandate was unfortunately reinstated by the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals back on December 18th, when it lifted an earlier injunction that had blocked it from going into effect as initially planned by the Biden Administration on the basis that OSHA did, in fact, have the authority to issue a sweeping mandate such as this.

If no action is taken prior to January 10th -- less than a week from today -- businesses that fail to comply with this vast government overreach will begin to be unjustly penalized.

It should truly go without saying that any decision that could affect the health and well-being of individual Americans is one that should be made without coercion, manipulation, and intimidation. But of course, that has not been the attitude taken by our federal government over the course of the last year.

The Biden Administration has shown time and again its hostility towards American citizens' constitutional freedoms, and by attempting to institute these mandates, it is embracing medical tyranny over medical autonomy once again, and our country's workers will find themselves its latest victim.

Have you ever brought your attention to something and then seen it everywhere?

I have really noticed this with cars.

I want to buy a car and then I see that car everywhere!

It feels like everyone in the world is driving that car.

Well, that's how I feel right now with long C syndrome, specifically anxiety.

Shortly after attending a training on Long C Syndrome, I started seeing women posting left and right on Facebook about their experience after having the C and feeling overly vulnerable, anxious and just not like themselves.

I even saw some people posting that it was spiritual channels being opened!

Ok, I am all for energetics and spirituality but after learning what I did about how the C affects the body there is def some stuff happening that is not purely energetics.

I have had many requests to share the training so that's what I am emailing.

But in a nut shell, I just want to let you know that there is a relationship between C, the gut microbiome, anxiety and neurotransmitters.

The symptoms show up 2 weeks to 3 months post C.

What I, also, find super interesting is that the cytokine IL6 increases anxiety AND anxiety increases IL6....all of which increase your risk with the C.

Moral of the story....

Address your gut health.

Optimize neurotransmitters.

And support your brain.

Watch Out for Sugar in 'Healthy' Foods

Robe Lowe's remake of the movie "The Bad Seed" fills you with horror as you (and he) realize his sweet daughter Emma (Mckenna Grace) is actually the personification of evil.

That’s kind of like what U.K. researchers found when they looked into 900 supposedly nice and healthy yogurt products and found that the sweetness was amped up with more added sugar than you ever suspected. That's pure evil, too.

The study in BMJ Open looked at drinks, desserts, children's yogurts, dairy alternatives, and yogurts designated as natural/Greek or organic. Only the natural/Greek yogurts had healthy levels of sugar.

A low-sugar food in the U.K. is considered to have 5 grams total sugars, or less in 3 ounces (100 grams) of a product or food.

That made us want to check other so-called health foods to see what sugar evils they're hiding inside.

We looked at the nutrition label on a sprouted wheat pumpkin berry bread and found that it has 4 grams of added sugars in a 1 oz. (32 grams) slice. That’s almost three times the sugar that should be in a healthy food.

Then there's the popular chocolate chip sports bar that packs 21 grams of sugar (much of it from brown rice syrup) into its 2 oz. (68 grams) package.

And how about "original" almond milk? It's got 7 grams of cane sugar in every serving.

Added sugars may cause biochemical changes that increase your risk for weight gain, diabetes, heart woes, wrinkles, and dementia. They also can encourage most cancers to grow.

So check out the labels on the food you eat. That evil sugar could be coming from inside your house.
