Do you face this challenge?

You consider yourself a plant medicine person. But your approach to working with sacred earth medicines orients toward either: "Shamanic" & "ceremonial" OR "psychotherapeutic & clinical".

Nevertheless, you understand that both are necessary in the modern world.

You know ancestral shamanic practices and contemporary psychotherapeutic modalities are essential to provide safe, qualified, and holistic care to your clients.

But how do you bridge the gap?

We have the answer this Saturday (January 28th)...

Join Shipibo Master healer Teddy Wilder Romas Cairuna and Marc-John Brown as they explore ancestral tools for plant medicine integration during this FREE Master Class.

If you’re interested in deepening your understanding of Plant Medicine Integration rooted in ancestral and shamanic traditions, this is the place to be.

>> REGISTER NOW<<

Who is Teddy Wilder Romas Cairuna?

Teddy has more than 15 years of experience working with medicinal plants, cooking ayahuasca, and as a teacher and guide. He has worked for years to create a more modern system of shamanism that includes techniques that can be applied to the lifestyles and rhythms of modern society.

Teddy first cooked ayahuasca with his grandfather, who was a traditional healer, at the age of 14. Soon after, he completed his first Master Plant dieta, and was crowned Onanya at 26, considered fit to heal and sit with elders in ayahuasca ceremonies.

During this Master class, you’ll learn:

  • Why integrating ancestral wisdom with contemporary psychotherapeutic modalities is essential for modern plant medicine integration
  • How a Shipibo master healer interprets the plant, spirit, and dream worlds, giving you a conceptual understanding of the master plants used in ayahuasca shamanism
  • How a Shipibo master healer upholds ancestral shamanic traditions while reaching out with his consciousness into the modern way of being to bring ancestral teachings to the present day world
  • How to help your clients navigate traditional vs non-traditional medicine servers and why profiling your shamans is essential.
  • What it means to be a safe, qualified, and culturally informed integration practitioner in the modern world of plant medicines
Register now for this FREE Master Class this Saturday, January 28.

I live in Rochester, NY, where winters tend to be pretty dark and gloomy. Seasonal depression is not uncommon in the Northeast, and I have had bouts of it in the past. But I am NOT experiencing depression this winter, which has been wonderful!
In this week’s vlog, I share a couple of stories plus the two things I’m doing differently this winter, in hopes that it will help others navigate winter depression or depression in general. And of course, it all relates back to your Bright Line journey.

Hi Jimi,

In a new interview with Dr. Beverly Rubik, she explains that…

There are some studies indicating long term mobile phone use, especially among children, is actually shrinking the cerebral cortex, which is related to intelligence... like a person who is addicted to drugs.

Losing intelligence instead of growing intelligence and wisdom... shrinking brains and shrinking intelligence...

Our friend and colleague, Nick Pineault has put together a line up of 18 researchers, scientists and medical professionals who are sharing EXACTLY what you can do to stop and even reverse the damage caused by chronic exposure to 5G and other sources of EMF pollution, called the EMF Hazards Summit.
Even if you think that because your kid doesn’t have a cell phone, there is no risk…other sources of harmful EMF are coming from:
  • Your wireless internet router
  • Your cell phone
  • The towers near your home or school
  • Exposure to wireless devices like tablets and Bluetooth ear buds
  • Sitting in front of computers, TVs and video game consoles
  • And so many other sources of this “invisible toxin”
Feel confident in protecting your family from the dangerous effects of EMF, and start seeing a radical transformation in your health happen before your eyes. Register now for the complimentary EMF Hazards Summit before it’s too late. This summit will be airing February 2-5.

A recent study suggests that Parkinson's disease, in which parts of the brain are progressively damaged over many years, may actually start in the gut.
Nearly 30% of the gut bacteria in patients with Parkinson's differed from those without the disease, according to British and U.S. researchers.
Special: This Gut Health Secret Is Key to Your Body's Immune Challenges
Study co-author Ayse Demirkan, a senior lecturer at the University of Surrey, noted that death and impairments due to Parkinson's are increasing faster than any other neurological disorder worldwide. Diagnosed cases have more than doubled in the past 25 years.
"This is very concerning as there is no known cure," Demirkan said in a university news release. "However, the more we learn about the causes of the disease, the more informed we can be in developing new treatments and, eventually, a cure."
Parkinson's is a brain disorder that can cause uncontrollable movements such as shaking, limb stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination.
Previous research had pointed to a possible link between gut bacteria and the disease, Demirkan said, though those studies were small.
This study recruited 490 people with Parkinson's and 234 neurologically healthy individuals. Each provided a stool sample and information about themselves.
When samples were analyzed, researchers found that bacteria, genes, and biological pathways differed by more than 30% in those with Parkinson's compared to those without the movement disorder.
One example was the bacterial species Bifidobacterium dentium, known to cause infections such as brain abscesses. Levels were seven times higher in folks with Parkinson's, while levels of Roseburia intestinalis, a bacterium is found in healthy colons, were 7.5 times lower. Constipation is a recognized symptom of Parkinson's.
A cluster of bacteria known to cause infections — Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumonia, and Klebsiella quasipneumoniae — had elevated levels in those with Parkinson's.
"Our current research is not designed to answer whether the bacteria itself is the initial cause of the disease; some may also be a consequence of the disease, or may be even influenced by the genetic makeup of the individual," Demirkan said.
The findings were published in Nature Communications.

Hey Jim,

Sunflower oil. Sesame oil. Grapeseed oil. Corn oil. Coconut oil. You name it.

This community is not a fan.

These oils are high in saturated fat and are extracted from plant seeds and undergo a refining process that removes most of the nutrients.

And deep frying your food with them? It's not going to do your body any favor.

One of the main concerns is that the high heat used in deep frying causes the oils to become oxidized, which can lead to the formation of harmful compounds in the food.

Learn more about this oxidation process and the truth about the omega-6 to omega-3 ratio in cooking oils in this conversation with Clint Paddison.

Dear Jimi,
Take 1 minute and try this out … It’s something called the Body Oxygen Level Test and it provides incredible insight into your body’s energy levels and overall health status.
Ready?
Here’s how to do it…
  1. Take a normal breath in through your nose and allow a normal breath out through your nose.
  2. Pinch your nostrils shut and hold your breath.
  3. Count the number of seconds until you feel the FIRST definite desire to breathe or the first stresses of your body urging you to breathe. (Don’t push your body to your absolute breath hold LIMIT—just until the first desire to breathe.)
  4. Release and resume normal breathing. Your breathing should be normal and calm. (If you’re breathing hard, you held too long.)
How many seconds did you get?
Here’s the bottom line: A healthy, vital, energetic body should be able to hold for at LEAST 40 seconds.
If you got LESS THAN 25 seconds, it indicates dysfunctional breathing and a body in poor health (low energy/vitality).
You may not know it, but our BREATHING habits are a major key to health and high energy levels.
And dysfunctional breathing (which the majority of people have) is a major cause of chronic low energy levels, and chronic anxiety.
What if you could invest 10 minutes every morning for the next month to DOUBLE your energy levels?
Interested?
Well, it’s possible, and you’ll learn the details on a new live virtual event hosted by my beloved friend, energy expert Ari Whitten. He’s calling it “the single most powerful method to increase energy levels that I’ve found in 25 years of studying health science.”
Those are powerful words—and Ari doesn’t exaggerate.
This LIVE virtual event is happening TODAY! Join Ari on Thursday, January 26th, at 7:30 pm (ET) / 4:30 pm (PT). You can register for FREE right HERE.
In this event, Ari is giving away the secrets of how to use specific breathing practices so you can learn:
  • A powerful 10-minute morning routine that dramatically increases energy levels
  • To rewire your nervous system out of stress mode and dramatically decrease anxiety levels
  • Specific breathing practices to improve your fitness level and endurance dramatically
  • Why deep breathing is actually bad advice (and what the right approach is to increase your energy and decrease anxiety)
  • How to improve your health by increasing oxygen delivery to your cells
  • The 4 keys to optimal breathing (and how to rewire your brain into doing it automatically)
  • Why dysfunctional breathing is a common cause of brain fog and mood problems (and how improving circulation to your brain with breathing can fix it)
  • Why breathing practices are often the secret key to helping you sleep deeper than you have since you were a kid
Grab your FREE spot in this live virtual event HERE.
It’s happening TODAY! Thursday, January 26th, at 7:30 pm (ET) / 4:30 pm (PT). Register here and mark your calendar.
See you there!
With love,
Susan

P.S. – This is NOT the typical “take deep abdominal breaths and relax” type of stuff. This is next-generation breathing science to rewire your brain and body for relaxation and energy. Register HERE

Hi Jimi,

Did you know there are over 86,000 man-made chemicals registered for use in the United States, and that less than 25% of those have ever been tested for safety?

How about the fact that over 300 million pounds (and growing) of glyphosate is used in the US every year - a known carcinogen and destroyer of the gut and microbiome.

Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the environmental toxin iceberg.

We are being exposed to an increasing number of toxins on a daily basis in the modern world - from pesticides and heavy metals to plastics and industrial pollution.

Why does this matter?

Because environmental toxins have been linked to an increased risk of…

  • Cancer
  • Metabolic Syndrome, Obesity, & Diabetes
  • Neurodegenerative Diseases (Alzheimer’s, dementia, etc…)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Infertility & Hormone Imbalances
  • Depression & Anxiety
  • Chronic Skin Conditions

….and countless other chronic diseases and symptoms!

Two recent studies were particularly alarming.

One demonstrated the presence of more than 200 chemicals in the cord blood of infants born in the US. Another estimated that, on average, women in America are exposed to over 180 chemicals every day just in their personal care products and makeup.

Given the immense size and scope of this problem, one can easily become overwhelmed and discouraged, thinking there is simply nothing we can do.

That’s why we have brought together the world’s leading experts to empower you with the knowledge and action steps you need in order to protect yourself (and your family) from the daily onslaught of toxic exposure!

The Toxicity & Detoxification Masterclass at RHT will feature 24 professional presentations that will give you everything you need to reduce overwhelm & confusion and provide dozens of simple recommendations you can implement right away!

And the best part? It’s completely free to attend!

Four Tips for Starting a Plant-Based Diet

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

New scientific research is proving the health benefits of a plant-based diet. But adopting a plant-based diet in order to harness these benefits can be challenging.

Therefore, experts recommend transitioning to a plant-based food program gradually. Here are some tips:

Start slowly. Include several plant-based meals during the week. You may already enjoy a bowl of oatmeal, pasta with vegetables, lentil stew, and other plant-based recipes. Include them more often. Add a few novelty items such as a veggie stir fry or three-bean chili.

Special: 4 Medical Doctors Made a Surprising Discovery

Make breakfast plant-based, such as muffins, waffles, or pancakes with fruit, or smoothie bowls. Then work on making your lunch and snacks vegetarian.

Spice up your meals. Herbs such as basil, garlic, cayenne pepper, and curry powder add flavor to plant-based recipes, and have their own health benefits as well.

Say yes to yeast. Nutritional yeast, a favorite protein source for many vegetarians, adds an earthy, cheesy taste to pasta, popcorn, and vegetables.

I have have put many on that you don't have to give your e-mail and some if I am gonna watch them I post my link to the event so others will not have to, I usually state that it's my link and if you use it you wont have to register ;)
Yes, I've seen you do that often, and I appreciate it, but I really wanted to see this one.

I watched it. It was very eye opening about fructose. The host and his speaker seemed to arrive at the conclusion that even fruit is an iffy choice if you're insulin resistant, which I think I am, though I don't like doctors and don't go to them, so it's never been diagnosed in me, and is just an educated guess.

So even fruit? Yikes. I love watermelon in summer, oranges in winter. Avocados and tomatoes are fruits, so I looked them up. They do contain fructose! Everything does, even summer squash and eggplant.

It's hard to know what to conclude. I think "science" stumbles over itself trying to reach the truth, and real science changes every few years, real science as compared to the entrenched "we are science" hubris of the pharmaceutical industry. I'm concluding on my own, that fresh fruits and vegetables have too much to offer in the way of vitamins, enzymes, fiber, healthful sweetness, to be given up. Not by me anyway.

Okay, confession time... I have a little bit of an herbal pet peeve.
And it can be summarized by the question, "what's it good for?"
I mean, I get it, when we're learning about herbs we immediately want to know what kinds of symptoms and diseases they treat.. that's what they do after all, right?!
Well, kinda... but not really. Ultimately when we think about what an herb is "good for," we run the risk of falling into the trap of thinking about them allopathically.
And if you're like me, you don't just want to be a green allopath, you want to be a holistic herbalist.
So what's the difference?
While the allopathic herbalist merely thinks about what symptoms herbs are "good for," the holistic herbalist learns to think in clinical patterns.
So what exactly is a clinical pattern?
Well that's precisely what Part II of The Herbal Monograph Map is all about!
You're going to get a totally new approach to how you think about using herbs and transcend the trappings of allopathic herbalism (which commonly leads to ineffective use of plants).
We're going to build on The Five Keys you learned in Part I, and weave that together to get you closer to the medicinal essence of the remedies you rely on.
Enjoy Clinical Patterns vs. "Good For" Herbalism
Take care,
Sajah
PS: Don't forget to download the PDF guide that goes along with this lesson, and drop a comment on the page there and let me know what you think!

MRNA IS NOT GOING AWAY: MODERNA CEO HAS PERMANENT GLOBAL PLANS

As much information as is coming out about the harmfulness, the deadliness, of these mrna jabs, I do not understand the persistence in promoting mrna. It may have some use down the line, though I doubt that altering the genome of any living thing is a good idea, but any proposed use of it needs a lot of unbiased study. The world is in the grip of something horrid, whether it's just greed or pure evil. They're going to start injecting cattle with mrna. It's going into the annual flu shot people get (not me, not ever once). You know it's going into the childhood schedule of required shots for school attendance.
