Hey there,

If ginger isn’t already a part of your daily menu, you’re missing out!
Ginger has proven to be one of the healthiest herbs on the planet, offering an amazing number of benefits.

So many, in fact, it’s been the subject of hundreds of studies examining its chemical properties, antioxidant content, and potential uses.

All of that research has turned up a lot of fascinating information that highlights all the things ginger can do for you.

  • Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Data shows [1] that ginger can have a marked positive effect on inflammatory diseases, everything from Crohn’s disease to psoriasis to rheumatoid arthritis. That’s due to ginger’s high content of gingerols, zingerols, and other potent antioxidants.
  • Protect against oxidative stress. The same research that highlighted the number of antioxidants in ginger also proved that it can protect your cells against oxidative stress and free radical damage. Ginger essentially staves off biological aging and the breakdown of your body at the cellular level.
  • Digestive aid. Research has proven [2] that ginger can do wonders for your digestion. People suffering from nausea—both pregnancy-related nausea and chemotherapy-related nausea—have shown marked improvement after taking both raw ginger and ginger supplements. The enzymes in ginger do an amazing job of calming down your stomach and preventing digestive upset.
  • Possible arthritis aid. As I mentioned above, ginger has been proven to aid in rheumatoid arthritis, reducing the inflammation that causes pain and stiffness. But one study [3] also showed that it can improve the “wear and tear” osteoarthritis, reducing the amount of pain you experience as a result of the arthritis.
  • Weight loss aid. One study [4] demonstrated that people who regularly eat ginger have an easier time losing weight, improved metabolic profile, and both a lower body weight and lower waist-hip ratio.
  • Improves blood sugar control. In the same study that demonstrated ginger’s weight loss ability, it was also proven that ginger helped to lower fasting glucose levels and decrease insulin resistance. Put together, this means ginger may be a potent supplement to help manage or prevent Type 2 Diabetes.
  • Fights high cholesterol. That same study also proved ginger had a positive effects on your blood cholesterol and lipids. Among those who consumed ginger for the study, HDL cholesterol levels were noticeably higher. HDL cholesterol plays a key role in controlling the “bad” LDL and total cholesterol levels, and even small increases in HDL cholesterol can lead to huge improvements in your blood lipid profile.
  • Possible menstrual pain reliever. Though the data on this is still limited, one study [5] proved that ginger can aid in relieving menstrual pain. In fact, ginger was such an effective pain reliever that its effects were comparable to standard painkillers, including ibuprofen and acetaminophen. Further research is needed for concrete proof, but the data is clearly there to show that ginger has the potential to be a powerful painkiller.
  • Fights cancer. Research into ginger’s effects on cancer have proven some interesting things. Ginger may be effective at treating and preventing GI cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer [6], as well as colorectal cancer [7]. However, the anti-cancer research is still in limited quantity, and more human studies are needed for further evidence.
Wow! Pretty clear to see that ginger has the potential to offer a lot of anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.

If your goal is to live a healthier, cleaner, longer life, your diet should include ginger in all its forms—raw ginger, pickled ginger, ginger tea, even dried and powdered ginger.

Thanks to the potent antioxidant content and anti-aging properties, ginger has the potential to be a game-changing addition to your life.

Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., writes:

In the Cureus Journal of Medical Science, researchers assessed the safety, efficacy, and tolerability of ashwagandha root extract for general health and sleep benefit in elderly people.

The study included people ages 65-80 who received 600 mg of oral ashwagandha root extract daily or a placebo. Efficacy was assessed via questionnaire.

Compared to the placebo group, the group taking ashwagandha experienced improvement in general well-being, sleep quality, and mental alertness.

In recent years, there has been an increasing awareness of Breast Implant Illness (BII). I've seen numerous testimonials from women who experienced significant health decline after getting breast implants and who restored their health after breast implant removal.

  • The Inner Child doesn’t care about the consequence of its actions.
  • This personality often takes over our decision making process when it comes to food and diet.
So what does this have to do with weight loss?

Well, when the Inner Child is sitting at the head of the table and making our food choices, it will go against our better judgment. It will make decisions that run counter to our goals of health and weight.

Dear Friend,
Scientists from the Luxembourg Institute of Health have discovered a previously unknown molecular mechanism that helps support immune function. The research team has been studying the antioxidant glutathione, known for its role in detoxing and cleansing the body of harmful metabolic wastes. During their experiments, they also discovered that glutathione appears to stimulate T-cells’ energy metabolism, which plays a crucial role in the body’s immune response.
The team discovered that the glutathione, triggered into production by T-cell activity, serves two essential functions. First, it’s a garbage collector of sorts, disposing of excess oxidants and free radicals. In addition to that, glutathione acts as a key switch for energy metabolism that controls the immune response.
Perhaps the best indicator of glutathione’s importance is that the nutrient’s cellular and mitochondrial levels are positively associated with health and longevity. So many of us have written off death as a part of life with no greater meaning than a means to an end. However, numerous accounts of unexplainable exchanges between the dying and their loved ones or caregivers offer comfort in knowing that death is yet another phase of life we can learn from.

I recently had the privilege of sitting down with esteemed colleagues, Drs. Pierre Kory and Liz Mumper, to discuss our collective experiences and evolving perspectives on childhood vaccines.

The CDC and Its Recommendations: A Journey from Trust to Questioning​

For many years, the three of us strongly trusted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and their recommended childhood vaccine schedule. The CDC's guidelines were our compass, guiding our professional practices in an attempt to safeguard our young patients from preventable diseases. But over time, our perspectives began to shift.
Understanding that our questioning does not arise from unfounded skepticism is crucial. Rather, it's born from our collective experiences, research, and the sincere desire to act in our patient's best interests.

Why the Change?​

The reasons for our evolving stance are manifold. We have witnessed many concerns, from potential conflicts of interest within agencies to perceived gaps in vaccine safety research. These are not concerns we take lightly. And while not all vaccines are in question, our trust in the system has undoubtedly been shaken.

The Dangers of Blind Trust​

Delegating the care of our children to agencies or professionals without doing our due diligence can be risky. This is not to say that we should distrust all authorities or the vast majority of doctors. But it's essential to remain informed, ask questions, and be involved in decisions that concern our children's health.
Parents and guardians trust us with the health of their children. That trust is sacred, and we owe it to them—and ourselves as professionals—to continually evaluate the efficacy and safety of our treatments and recommendations.

Final Thoughts​

To question is human; as doctors, our first oath is to do no harm. Engaging in open, candid discussions about the potential risks and benefits of vaccines or any medical treatment is crucial.
