The State Department and Foreign Operations bill that passed last week has some gratifying cuts in addition to cutting off the WHO

The State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs bill provides $51.5 billion for programs under the jurisdiction of the Subcommittee, which is $17.4 billion (25%) below the President’s Budget Request, $8.2 billion (14%) below FY23 enacted level, $2.7 billion below the FY19 enacted level, and $288 million below the FY15 enacted level. The bill claws back $11.14 billion of the Democrats’ wasteful spending over the last two years, resulting in net new spending of only $40.4 billion. The bill prioritizes agencies and programs that strengthen our national security, counter the People’s Republic of China promote American values at home and abroad, while cutting spending for low-priority activities and programs…

Cuts to Wasteful Spending

• Reduces program levels by more than $8 billion, which is $288 million below the FY15 enacted level.
Eliminates funding for United Nations’ regular budget, resulting in savings of $707 million.
Prohibits funds for other controversial organizations and programs, such as UNFPA, the World Health Organization, and the Gender Equity and Equality Action Fund.
• 40 accounts in the bill are either at or below FY19 levels or eliminated entirely.
o Eliminates 9 accounts, including Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund, International Organizations and Programs, Contribution to the Clean Technology Fund, and Contribution to the Inter-American Development Bank. (Latin American arm of the World Bank)
o Reduces 14 accounts below the FY19 enacted level, including Diplomatic Programs, Contributions to International Organizations, Contributions for International Peacekeeping Activities, USAID Operating Expenses, Economic Support Fund, and Migration and Refugee Assistance.
o Reduces 17 accounts to the FY19 enacted level, including United States Agency for Global Media, Peace Corps, and International Development Association.
• Terminates [aid to] more than 18 programs, including Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), UN Women, UN Montreal Protocol, UN Environment Fund, and World Economic Forum.
• Prohibits funding for Special Envoys, Special Representatives, Special Coordinators and Special Advisors unless such positions are expressly authorized or have affirmatively received the advice and consent of the Senate. This change eliminates 33 Special Envoys and Special Representatives at the Department of State, including the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (John Kerry) , Special Envoy for Racial Equity and Justice, Special Envoy to Advance the Human Rights of LGBTQI+ Persons, Special Envoy for International Labor Affairs, and Special Representative for Palestinian Affairs.
Prohibits funds for the Green Climate Fund, Clean Technology Fund, and a soon-to-be- established fund for climate damages.
Prohibits the Treasury Department from carrying out the Biden Administration’s climate agenda at the World Bank and other multilateral development banks, which harms developing countries and opens the door to predatory financing from the PRC.
• Prohibits the Administration’s current practice of co-opting programming, such as that to empower women; advance democracy and freedom; or counter trafficking in persons, to advance its radical global climate change agenda.
• Prohibits funds to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the EcoHealth Alliance, any gain-of-function research, and labs in adversarial nations like China, Iran, Russia, North Korea, or Cuba

Adequate Sleep Removes Brain Toxins

Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D., writes:


For many years, the exact reasons for sleep have been a difficult puzzle for scientists to put together. Some say it rejuvenates the exhausted brain, yet we know that the brain remains quite active during sleep, when memories are consolidated. Some studies have suggested that our most creative thoughts occur when we are asleep. Studies on brain activity and metabolism also suggest that rest is not the primary objective of sleep.

The discovery of the brain’s glymphatic system may provide the answer to the question of why we sleep. Scientists have found that during sleep, the brain actually shrinks slightly, opening glymphatic channels that allow greater clearance of toxic molecules from the brain’s tissues. In fact, the glymphatic system works best when we are asleep.

Special: Over 50? Beware of These Three Common Myths About Sleep

On the other hand, when people are awake and mentally busy, glymphatic flow slows and toxic molecules build up in the brain. Sleep is required to clear the waste that accumulates during the daytime. Careful studies using animals have demonstrated that the brain’s glymphatic system worked best when sleeping on the side, rather than on the back.

Dr. Jerry Lemole has studied the glymphatic system carefully, and is working on the details of how its impairment is linked to Alzheimer’s disease and (possibly) other neurodegenerative disorders. He is also writing a book on how to improve lymphatic flow.

How much sleep a person needs varies, especially with aging. Older people may need as little as five to six hours of restful sleep a night, while younger children require at least eight hours.

Sleep is critical for childhood growth, as each time children fall asleep their pituitary gland secretes a burst of growth hormone. This is true even for short naps. If repeated or prolonged, sleep deprivation can result in damage to the brain, especially the hippocampus.

The compound gotu kola (Centella asiatica) has been shown to reduce anxiety and stress and lessen injury to the brain caused by sleep deprivation. It can also be used to treat insomnia.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) also reduces stress and anxiety — and importantly, lowers elevated levels of cortisol, which is known to damage the hippocampus and to cause insomnia and waking in the middle of the night.

Fatal Eosinophilic Myocarditis after mRNA Injection

Pfizer-BioNTech BNT162b2 mRNA Initial Allergic Reaction Fatal in 71-year Old Man​

We have heard about thousands of cases of acute myocarditis in young men after COVID-19 vaccination. Among 987,217 US/domestic VAERS Safety Reports through September 22, 2023, there are 5051 cases of myocarditis. Rose et al reported that 90% of these are men and many occur on shots two and three.
Onishi et al reported a A 71-year-old man with type 2 diabetes mellitus and essential hypertension who was found collapsed following the administration of the first dose of BNT162b2 COVID-19 vaccine. It was estimated from the inoculation record that approximately 4–5 h had passed since the vaccination. He had many complications with the resuscitation and died after 83 days.

The main teaching points are:
  1. COVID-19 vaccine induced myocarditis can be very rapid in onset and ultimately fatal. We should not assume cases are mild and and transient as told to us by public health agencies.
  2. Older patients have lesser reserves to survive a cardiac arrest.
  3. Eosinophilic myocarditis is caused by the mRNA-lipid nanoparticle directly as there was probably insufficient time to produce enough Spike protein to cause fulminant damage and cardiogenic shock.
  4. Fatal myocarditis is an unacceptable complication in even one case since the COVID-19 vaccines have not been shown to reduce transmission or the composite of hospitalization and death in randomized trials. This life was lost for no possible theoretical benefit.
  5. Future mRNA vaccines for influenza and other illnesses are likely to cause the same fatal eosinophilic myocarditis as this appears to be related to the mRNA-LNP complex and not the Spike protein.

It’s magic.

Stress Melting Tip #1: Get a glass of water and take a drink.

Repeat that every 30-45 minutes for the rest of the day.

It may sound too simple to be effective, but being hydrated can improve your brain function and reduce your anxiety levels within hours.

Stress Melting Tip #2: Breathe deep

Inhale for 5 seconds, hold your breath for 10 seconds, then exhale. Repeat this 10 times.

Again, this may sound too simple to work, but breathing deep has a profound effect on your nervous system and can calm your nerves within minutes.
