Organic Indian cotton variety more sustainable than GMO counterpart but lacks buyer demand

Indigenous to the Kutch district of Gujarat in western India, organic kala cotton is a sustainable treasure. Unlike Bt cotton, which uses about 600 millimeters of water when sown, kala cotton uses only 30 to 35 millimeters—20 times less than its GMO counterpart—and doesn’t require any hydration beyond rainwater. It’s grown without any pesticides, as it’s a naturally strong crop with a high tolerance for diseases and pests that flourishes in rough conditions. In contrast, Bt cotton requires pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, and irrigation, making it much more expensive to grow than the natural kala cotton, which needs no capital.

Kala cotton also produces a thick yarn that’s coarser than conventional cotton and naturally breathable, lending itself well to denim apparel. And its sweet, green buds are used to feed local cows, goats, and buffalo, making it ecologically advantageous.

A US court just put ownership of CRISPR back in play

At stake in the ongoing patent dispute over the gene-editing tool are the rights to the most important biotechnology of the age and credit for inventing it.

Last week the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said scientists Jennifer Doudna and Emmanuelle Charpentier will get another chance to show they ought to own the key patents on what many consider the defining biotechnology invention of the 21st century.

But when key US patent rights were granted in 2014 to researcher Feng Zhang of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, the decision set off a bitter dispute in which hundreds of millions of dollars—as well as scientific bragging rights—are at stake.

5 of the biggest obstacles to healing

If you (or somebody you are about) have been trying to resolve a health issue for more than a year without making significant progress, it's possible that there are some hidden "obstacles to healing" in your (their) way.

You probably already know that blocked "drainage pathways" are one type of obstacle to healing.

The main drainage pathways are via bowel elimination, bile secretion by the liver/gallbladder, lymphatic drainage, urination, and sweat.

If any of these pathways of elimination are not working optimally, that is an obstacle to healing.

But there are other obstacles most people have not considered.

We can group these obstacles to healing into 5 categories:
  1. Mental Blocks
  2. Interference Fields
  3. Insufficient Energy Production
  4. Detox-Blocking Nutrient Deficiencies
  5. Detox-Blocking Infections
Today I'm going to touch upon the Mental Blocks category.

Mental blocks can be subconscious / unconscious beliefs like:
  • "I am not able to heal"
  • "Doctors and other practitioners don't help me."
  • "I don't deserve to be well"
Mental blocks can also be something called "secondary gain" whereby a part of the person/personality gains a benefit from continuing to have the health condition.

Secondary gain benefits could include something like having a justification for not working or not doing something else.

The health condition might enable the person to avoid something that is difficult to confront.

So the part of the personality that gains this benefit can sabotage efforts to overcome the health condition.

Another mental block is setting a vague goal to "feel better", and then when the person feels better, they stop trying to progress further, does not fully resolve the issue, and then relapses back into worse symptoms again.

All of this is very unconscious. The person does not realize they are doing this and that this is happening because their health goal is too vague.

These are some of the 14+ mental blocks we addressed in the "Unblock Your Healing process to Unlock EPIC Vitality" 5-day challenge

My experience leads me to believe that mental blocks are the mother of all obstacles to healing.

If you don't identify all subconscious / unconscious mental blocks and resolve them effectively, you will most likely continue to suffer with whatever health challenge might be plaguing you (or somebody you care about).

In the Unblock Your Healing Process challenge we covered several ways of identifying mental blocks and a simple but effective method of clearing certain types of mental blocks.

Vitamin D Keeps Arteries Healthy

Dr. Chauncey Crandall, M.D., writes:


High doses of vitamin D keep arteries more flexible, potentially warding off heart disease, heart attacks, and strokes, preliminary research suggests.

In just four months, vitamin D supplements reduced arterial stiffness in a group of 70 young Black men and women in a small-scale clinical trial.

The flexibility of participants’ arteries improved even more with higher doses, said senior researcher Dr. Yanbin Dong, a professor with the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.

Human skin naturally synthesizes vitamin D when exposed to bright sunshine.

However, darker skin absorbs less sunlight, making Black people more susceptible to vitamin deficiency, the researchers said.

In addition, body fat tends to capture and hold vitamin D, also contributing to deficiency.

“Asbestos of the Sky” - The Aviation Industry’s Darkest Coverup


Exposing the hidden epidemic of toxic cabin air and the silenced truths haunting modern aviation.​

The aviation industry proudly claims that air travel is “the safest way to travel.” However, this narrative conceals a longstanding and disturbing truth: since its inception, the industry has exposed both passengers and crew to toxic air due to fundamentally flawed aircraft design—placing profit above human safety.
In flight, every passenger and crew member depends on a consistent air supply. The common assumption is that this air is either fresh or at least adequately filtered. You may have sensed—then quickly dismissed—that there could be issues with cabin air quality. But the problem goes far deeper than occasional lapses in quality control. Alarmingly, it is not accidental, but systemicbuilt into the very design of modern aircraft.

A Hidden Hazard: The History of Cabin Air Supply

The core issue stems from how modern jet airliners supply air at cruising altitudes. To maintain pressurized and warm cabin conditions, virtually all commercial aircraft since 1963 have used a method called "bleed air"—air taken directly from the compressor section of jet engines.

In the 1950s, engineers designed aircraft that drew fresh, filtered air from outside the plane. However, this safer method was abandoned in favor of cost-cutting measures. The decision-makers deemed the engineering changes too expensive to implement. As a result, the aviation industry adopted and standardized a design that would expose every crew member and passenger to potentially contaminated air—by design, not accident.1

What You're Breathing: A Toxic Mix of Airborne Chemicals

Today, the air you breathe on board consists of a 50/50 blend of recirculated cabin air and bleed air. While the recirculated portion may be filtered, the bleed air is not—and it can contain a wide spectrum of synthetic and neurotoxic chemicals, including:

  • Tricresyl phosphate (TCP or TOCP) — an organophosphate linked to severe neurological damage.
The World Health Organization sounded the alarm as early as 1990, stating:

“Because of considerable variation among individuals in sensitivity to TOCP, it is not possible to establish a safe level of exposure… TOCP are therefore considered major hazards to human health.”

Flying the Toxic Skies: A Daily Global Risk

The only commercial aircraft that does not use bleed air is the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which employs electrically powered compressors to bring in outside, non-engine-derived air. Unfortunately, Boeing 787s make up less than 5% of global commercial flights.

With approximately 100,000 flights occurring daily worldwide, and estimates suggesting that at least 1 in every 100 flights experiences a significant "fume event", this means millions of passengers and crew are being exposed dailyto toxic air—often without their knowledge.

The Bleed Air Problem: Expert Insight from the Aerotoxic Association​

Organizations like the Aerotoxic Association have been tirelessly working to expose the dangers of cabin air contamination. They explain:​

"Bleed air comes from the compressor section of the jet engine, which has to be lubricated. Jet engines mostly have 'wet seals' to keep the oil and air apart, which cannot be 100% effective… These seals wear out over time or may fail suddenly, allowing significant amounts of oil to enter the hot compressed bleed air, resulting in fumes or smoke entering the cabin—a situation known as a ‘fume event.’”
Importantly, they add:

“There are no filters in the bleed air supply to stop this from happening.”
Jet engine oil is no ordinary lubricant. It's made from synthetic chemicals, specifically designed to withstand extreme temperatures. These oils:

  • Are not petroleum-based
  • Contain organophosphates and aromatic hydrocarbons
  • Can become chemically altered (pyrolyzed) at high temperatures, forming even more toxic byproducts

Your body's electricity and electrical potential is usually measured as voltage, like a battery.

In fact, parts of your body actually function like exactly like a battery.

Muscle tissue is the main tissue that acts like a battery for storing electrical voltage.

These muscle-batteries deliver electrical voltage to various parts of the body via pathways that operate like wires in an electrical circuit.

The fascia surrounding muscle tissue is the main tissue that acts like the wires of an electrical circuit.

These fascia-circuits deliver voltage from the batteries to the cells and tissues of the body.

These circuits are more commonly known as the acupuncture meridians.

Voltage to keep the batteries charged is created by the body via the production of ATP, the movement of muscles (which are piezoelectric), and other processes.

It might seem counterintuitive that muscles generate electricity if they are using up ATP to function, but they are piezoelectric, which means they generate voltage when they move.

So muscle activity is one way that the body converts ATP to electrical energy.

To summarize so far, we have electrical circuits powered by batteries that are recharged by ATP, muscle movement, and other processes.

Cells need to maintain a voltage of -20 to -25 millivolts to function in a healthy manner.

The creation of new healthy cells requires -50 millivolts.

If the body can't deliver voltage to cells and tissues that need it, when they need it, disease processes can develop.

Multiple things can block the transmission of voltage through a wire (a portion of an acupuncture meridian) in a circuit (a full acupuncture meridian) of the body and short-circuit the circuit.

When a wire in a circuit is blocked, voltage leaks out of the circuit and drains the battery.

Blockage of a wire in a circuit can also prevent voltage from traveling to the circuit's battery to recharge it.

When the battery gets sufficiently drained, its polarity reverses.

The same thing happens to regular batteries we are familiar with.

You know how batteries have the "+" end and the "-" end?

Those positive (+) and negative (-) polarities get reversed inside of a battery when it gets depolarized.

When a battery gets depolarized, it cannot be recharged and cannot hold a charge until its polarity is corrected.

Depolarization of a battery in your body is big trouble because it eventually causes disease.

Blockages of wires that can drain and depolarize batteries are called "interference fields".

The two most common causes of interference fields are:
  1. Scars
  2. Chronic “focal” infections (e.g. in the tonsils, teeth, or jawbone)
You've probably heard of jawbone cavitations due to tooth extractions or root canals. They can also occur around implants.

Cavitations are pockets of infected bone, and they usually cause no pain or local swelling, so they go unsuspected for decades.

Yet they can cause almost any condition in the body.

A study of 354 wisdom tooth extraction sites revealed cavitations in 313 of those 354 extractions sites. That's 88%!

So it seems that almost 9 out of every 10 wisdom tooth extractions lead to cavitations at the site of the extractions.

Since almost everybody has had at least one wisdom tooth extracted, and since wisdom tooth extractions lead to cavitations almost 90% of the time, and since a cavitation nearly always create an interference field that interferes to some degree with the circuit that previously served the extracted tooth, wisdom tooth extractions are probably the #1 thing that block and deplete your body's electrical voltage (and then lead to depolarized batteries that cannot be recharged or hold a charged until their polarity is corrected).

Cavitations and interference fields in general are such important obstacles to healing that I covered this topic on day 2 of the Unblock Your Healing Process challenge in March.

Here is some of what was revealed about interference fields on day 2:

After mental blocks (discussed in the previous email and available to read in the next section below), interference fields are probably the second most important hidden obstacle to healing.

Even if you have no health issues at the moment, I highly recommend learning more about interference fields because you almost certainly have some, and they are almost certainly quietly putting your future health at risk.

5 of the biggest obstacles to healing

If you (or somebody you are about) have been trying to resolve a health issue for more than a year without making significant progress, it's possible that there are some hidden "obstacles to healing" in your (their) way.

You probably already know that blocked "drainage pathways" are one type of obstacle to healing.

The main drainage pathways are via bowel elimination, bile secretion by the liver/gallbladder, lymphatic drainage, urination, and sweat.

If any of these pathways of elimination are not working optimally, that is an obstacle to healing.

But there are other obstacles most people have not considered.

We can group these obstacles to healing into 5 categories:
  1. Mental Blocks
  2. Interference Fields
  3. Insufficient Energy Production
  4. Detox-Blocking Nutrient Deficiencies
  5. Detox-Blocking Infections
Today I'm going to touch upon the Mental Blocks category.

Mental blocks can be subconscious / unconscious beliefs like:
  • "I am not able to heal"
  • "Doctors and other practitioners don't help me."
  • "I don't deserve to be well"
Mental blocks can also be something called "secondary gain" whereby a part of the person/personality gains a benefit from continuing to have the health condition.

Secondary gain benefits could include something like having a justification for not working or not doing something else.

The health condition might enable the person to avoid something that is difficult to confront.

So the part of the personality that gains this benefit can sabotage efforts to overcome the health condition.

Another mental block is setting a vague goal to "feel better", and then when the person feels better, they stop trying to progress further, does not fully resolve the issue, and then relapses back into worse symptoms again.

All of this is very unconscious. The person does not realize they are doing this and that this is happening because their health goal is too vague.

These are some of the 14+ mental blocks we addressed in the "Unblock Your Healing process to Unlock EPIC Vitality" 5-day challenge

My experience leads me to believe that mental blocks are the mother of all obstacles to healing.

If you don't identify all subconscious / unconscious mental blocks and resolve them effectively, you will most likely continue to suffer with whatever health challenge might be plaguing you (or somebody you care about).
