This gal was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, saying the conventional doctors just keep sending her for tests, while the lumps keep getting larger and larger.

Her comment was:

I'm overwhelmed with all of the information online—in particular with people saying they did not undergo traditional treatments like chemo, surgery, and radiation…

but rather cured themselves by drinking baking soda water and/or taking Ivermectin and Mebendazole.

And her question was:

Does somebody like me need chemotherapy and other traditional treatments with perhaps complementary support from something like ivermectin, even though the hematologist said Ivermectin interferes with chemo?

Let’s break this down.

FIRST, the ivermectin / mebendazole thing.

One thing right off the bat is that for people confused on why they hear two different similar-sounding names, fenbendazole is a veterinary drug, and mebendazole is a human drug.

They’re not EXACTLY the same thing, but pretty close in terms of their mechanisms of action, and mebendazole is very well studied for humans.

The only reason you hear about fenbendazole instead is that it’s all the guy who made it famous could get his hands on at the time. So there’s that.

But getting more to the heart of the matter, YES, these drugs have produced some pretty remarkable case studies for people who they “worked for.”

There are many other people that they didn’t “work for”… and as of right now, there’s no definitive research showing which cancer types, markers, etc., would make a person more likely for them to work in their case vs. others…

Aside from the obvious, if you’ve got a massive parasite load, and that’s one of the primary drivers of the cancer, clearing that up is going to take away one of the major drivers of cancer.

But it’s not that simple, because these drugs have other anti-cancer mechanisms of action outside of just “killing parasites.”

That said, some of the best of the best integrative cancer doctors have begun to form some pretty good rationales for who they give them to vs. who they don’t, which brings us back to my perpetual tagline…

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, work with one of the best of the best integrative cancer doctors if you’re dealing with a serious cancer diagnosis, and don’t just try to DIY it between you and the internet.

It’s cancer, and your life is what we’re talking about.

And at the very least (or optimally both), show up every week to our Going Integrative Plus calls and ask these questions directly to the best of the best integrative cancer doctors (and me) there.

I also get nervous that it’s a couple of pharmaceutical drugs getting so popular / generating so much hype in the “mainstream alternative world,” as I’ve been starting to think of it…

and distracting from the mountain of actual natural things, which help substantially, especially when combined into a solid daily routine.

Is this completely dismissing ivermectin and fenbendazole / mebendazole?

Absolutely not, there’s a time and a place for a lot of things; active cancer might be that time and place…

but do “all the other stuff” as well; work with an integrative cancer doctor (you can also use Going Integrative Plus to find the best integrative doctor FOR YOU) to find out if this particular thing is worth your time and money…

and have a solid testing strategy in place to determine if it’s working… FOR YOU.

Similar thing with baking soda. It’s been in the alternative cancer blogosphere for years, way before that blogosphere became massively censored…

but it’s not as simple as “cancer can’t survive in an alkaline environment, so just drink baking soda”… it’s just not.

Same thing with people who just make a vegan (or now carnivore!) diet to be the answer to everything… it’s not.

Some cancer situations are actually TOO alkaline in the first place, if you can believe it.

And as for the “does someone like me need chemo” part…

Again, for the love of God, work with an integrative cancer doctor with decades of actual experience on these things, who knows which situations anything from chemo to baking soda is good for and which they aren’t…

Bold Claims, Dismal Delivery - 30 Years of Broken GMO Promises

A In 1995, the US Department of Agriculture approved the first Bt maize and glyphosate-tolerant soybean, opening the way for large-scale cultivation of genetically modified (GM) crops. The promises came thick and fast: GMOs would feed the world, reduce chemical use, and save children from malnutrition. Thirty years on, GM crops occupy just 13% of global arable land, and largely concentrated in a handful of countries. Most of the promises remain unmet.

Glyphosate and Cancer: A Textbook Case of “Manufacturing Doubt”

The recent publication of a study indicating an increased risk of various tumors in laboratory rats exposed to glyphosate has sparked numerous comments on social media and in the press, aimed at downplaying or denigrating this research. These results, published on June 10 in the journal Environmental Health, only confirm the conclusions of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), which estimated in 2015 that the studies available at the time provided “sufficient evidence” of glyphosate’s carcinogenicity in animals.

Environmental Health, published by the SpringerNature group, is one of the most influential journals in its field. Its citation rate places it 32nd out of 687 indexed journals covering the fields of public health, environmental health, or occupational health, according to the 2024 ranking by scientific publisher Elsevier.

The attacks on this study published the journal, led by the Ramazzini Institute in Bologna, Italy, offer an exemplary array of the sleight of hand of “doubt manufacturing,” a rhetoric aimed at undermining confidence in scientific results, often used to delay or fight regulatory decisions. EU Explores Withdrawing Glyphosate Approval Over New Shocking Cancer Study

A European Commission spokesperson has confirmed that the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) will be formally tasked with assessing whether the peer-reviewed findings of a new international study showing that glyphosate causes six of the most common cancers affect the current risk assessment of glyphosate.

Meanwhile, Dutch farmers’ organization LTO has called for a rapid assessment of the new international study. If the findings are confirmed, the LTO said the product’s approval “must be withdrawn immediately”.

The LTO said it was essential that national and European safety bodies, including the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the Dutch board for the authorization of plant protection products and biocides (CTGB), evaluate the study “as a top priority”. The CTGB says it will examine the results and methodology of the study and report its findings to the agriculture ministry within several weeks. New $4.3 million non-GMO soybean breeding program will open new opportunities for producers and processors

The project, involves the launch of a new breeding program to develop early-maturing, high-protein, non-GMO soybean varieties suited to Canada’s northern climates, including Manitoba and northern Ontario.

The new varieties will be specifically bred for improved yield, resistance to soybean cyst nematode (SCN), and better adaptation to a range of environmental conditions, helping producers reduce the yield gap between GMO and non-GMO crops.

The first phase of the project involves breeding new non-GMO soybean varieties, while the second phase of the project will see the development of a novel, soy-based plant protein product. Learn more about the developments here.

New Agrochemicals Are Even More Toxic Than The Old Ones​

The Millions Against Monsanto movement made glyphosate, the main ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup weed killer, a household word. Once trial lawyers had enough evidence linking glyphosate with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, they forced Bayer, which merged with Monsanto in 2018, to pay billions of dollars to at least 175,000 Roundup-exposed cancer victims. That prompted Bayer to announce that it would stop selling Roundup, but what it really meant is that it would reformulate, replacing glyphosate with even worse toxins–a pyrrhic victory.
Glyphosate is still the most-used chemical in agriculture–where pesticide applicators and farm workers have little choice over what they’re exposed to. But, glyphosate is being phased out of certain products to meet consumer demand–and reduce Bayer’s liability. Meanwhile, the EPA is working to approve new agrochemicals even more toxic than the old ones.
Bayer’s newly formulated Roundup contains diquat, which is 200 times more toxic than glyphosate. Like glyphosate, diquat kicks off a cascade of chronic health problems by damaging our gut health.
And, foods that had become notorious for containing the most glyphosate are now turning up with dangerous levels of chlormequat. Right now, chlormequat is only used on imports, but the EPA wants to approve it for food grown in the U.S.
The EPA has also given a green light to BASF’s trifludimoxazin, a new herbicide that blocks the production of heme, a necessary component of the red blood cells that oxygenate our tissues. In animal studies, trifludimoxazin causes liver, thyroid, neurological, and reproductive problems, as well as cancer.
This is a reminder that it isn’t enough to avoid Bayer’s glyphosate or its herbicide-tolerant genetically modified organisms (GMOs). It’s really important to go completely organic, both with the food you eat and what you use on your lawn and garden.
Most importantly, we have to keep up the fight. Our opposition to glyphosate made Bayer and Big Food cower–if we keep the pressure on we can push organic forward and demand a safer food system: take action against these toxic chemicals!

Hormone System Disruption Caused by Chemicals in Our Food​

Testing shows that most foods and, consequently, people worldwide carry a mix of pesticide and chemical residues. Regulatory authorities claim that these levels are safe because they are below maximum residue limits (MRLs) and the acceptable daily intake (ADI), as well as other so-called safe limits. In the previous three articles, I have shown that the methods used to assess the safety of these levels are severely inadequate for this purpose.

The current model of toxicology (the science of poisons) is based on the idea that the smaller the dose, the lesser the effect of the poison. When animal testing shows that a certain dose of poison causes no observed adverse effects (NOAEL), this dose becomes the basis for determining the ADI. The ADI is usually calculated by dividing the permitted amount by a factor of one hundred.
Regulatory authorities then contend that any residue levels below the ADI or MRL are too low to pose health risks.

This model assumes that the toxic effect declines in a steady, linear fashion with lower doses until the compound is no longer toxic. It is based on Paracelsus’s maxim, the sixteenth-century physician and father of toxicology, who stated, “All things are poison and nothing is without poison; only the dose makes a thing not a poison.” This has been summarized as, “The dose makes the poison.”

Denmark Wants You to Copyright Yourself​

“‘Human beings can be run through the digital copy machine and be misused for all sorts of purposes and I’m not willing to accept that,’ Danish Culture Minister Jakob Engel-Schmidt recently told The Guardian after Denmark introduced an amendment to its copyright legislation so people could own their own likeness. ‘In the bill we agree and are sending an unequivocal message that everybody has the right to their own body, their own voice, and their own facial features, which is apparently not how the current law is protecting people against generative AI.’

The Danish culture minister is right. We need to stop this problem decisively. Deepfakes are a serious problem—one that is fundamentally altering our perception of reality. People are getting bullied, coerced into doing things against their will, and even framed for crimes they didn’t commit. Stopping the software will not work. That ship sailed a long time ago. And normal people don’t have the resources to fight in court for a deepfake to be taken down.

The answer, like the Danish government has done, is to include personal likeness in copyright law. The proposal establishes legal definitions for unauthorized digital reproductions, specifically targeting ‘very realistic digital representation of a person, including their appearance and voice.’”

Scientists investigating links between diet, sleep problems, and cultural beliefs about diet and sleep have found that healthier evening eating habits lead to better sleep and better recall of dreams, while the consumption of dairy products is associated with nightmares. This is thought to be because lactose intolerance causes overnight digestive upsets which then affect people’s dreams.

Scientists have found that eating too much dairy could ruin your sleep. Researchers questioned more than 1,000 students about the quality of their sleep, their eating habits, and any perceived link between the two, and found a strong association between nightmares and lactose intolerance — potentially because gas or stomach pain during the night affects people’s dreams.”

American Kids Have Become Increasingly Unhealthy Over Nearly Two Decades, New Study Finds​

“The health of U.S. children has deteriorated over the past 17 years, with kids today more likely to have obesity, chronic diseases and mental health problems like depression, a new study says.

Much of what researchers found was already known, but the study paints a comprehensive picture by examining various aspects of children’s physical and mental health at the same time.



‘The surprising part of the study wasn’t any with any single statistic; it was that there’s 170 indicators, eight data sources, all showing the same thing: a generalized decline in kids’ health,’ said Dr. Christopher Forrest, one of the authors of the study published Monday in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
‘Kids are the canaries in the coal mine,’ he said. ‘When kids’ health changes, it’s because they’re at increased vulnerability, and it reflects what’s happening in society at large.’”

Nighttime Light Exposure Tied to Heart Health Issues​

“Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute researchers, along with colleagues in the UK and U.S., have linked brighter night-time light exposure to elevated risks of five major cardiovascular diseases.
Circadian rhythms govern fluctuations in blood pressure, heart rate, platelet activation, hormone secretion, and glucose metabolism. Long-term disruption of those rhythms in animal and human studies have produced myocardial fibrosis, hypertension, inflammation, and impaired autonomic balance.


In the study, ‘Personal night light exposure predicts incidence of cardiovascular diseases in 88,000 individuals,’ posted on medRxiv, researchers conducted a prospective cohort analysis to assess whether day and night light exposure predicts incidence of cardiovascular diseases and whether relationships vary with genetic susceptibility, sex, and age.



Avoiding bright light during habitual sleep times may serve as a practical addition to established cardiovascular prevention strategies, according to the authors, who call for circadian-informed lighting guidance in homes, hospitals, and urban planning.”

The President's MAHA Commission is expected to release their policy recommendations this August and we’re asking for your signature to help stop the pesticide liability shields and protections being promoted by Congress and the EPA.

After fighting Bayer and the pesticide liability shields for the past 7 months in over a dozen state legislatures across the U.S., the fight to protect our health and democracy is now moving to Washington DC at lightning speed. Deals are being made and the only way they are going to protect our health and safety is if we speak up and our elected officials know they must do their jobs to protect us - or risk losing theirs.

  • This week, House Ag Committee Chairman G.T. Thompson announced that he plans to include a pesticide liability shield provision in a new farm bill, what he’s calling “Farm Bill 2.0” that he expects to pass this fall in September.
  • Last month, Politico reported that the American Soybean Association’s top lobbyist, Kyle Kunkler, has been appointed to oversee the EPA’s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention — will make decisions on pesticide safety!
  • Kunkler has spent the past 5 years promoting Monsanto’s Roundup Ready GMO soybeans and arguing that glyphosate and Roundup are perfectly safe and don’t cause cancer or other major human health problems confirmed by dozens of independent peer-reviewed research.
  • The American Soybean Association is not only one of Bayer and Monsanto’s favorite “trade associations”, but they regularly attack MAHA, RFK, Jr., and any scientists that criticize glyphosate or Roundup.
Now, this top pesticide lobbyist will be in charge of the office that oversees and regulates pesticide safety decisions, including decisions over the future of Monsanto’s glyphosate.

This comes after another groundbreaking 2-year study from the world’s leading cancer researchers that found that glyphosate rats exposed to glyphosate doses that have been deemed “safe” by regulators were found to cause 6 of the top 10 most common cancers in the world.

If we want to make America’s children and farmland healthy again, we need to make better safety assessments of the pesticides and chemicals that we’re putting on the food that we and our children consume every day.

The justification for creating franken-chickens is that bird flu vaccines do not prevent infection or transmission, meaning they are “leaky.” Leaky vaccines provide an environment for the virus to rapidly mutate to a potentially more virulent strain. So, researchers are looking for another method of “protection” against the virus. UW-Madison states in its grant application:
Vaccination can [be] effective for controlling avian viruses. However, this control measure faces significant challenges that often undermine its effectiveness. Viruses like HPAI [highly pathogenic avian influenza] mutate rapidly under immune pressures resulting in virus isolates that are less susceptible or resistant to the vaccine. Additionally, vaccinated birds can still become infected and shed the virus asymptomatically, complicating disease control by allowing the virus to circulate unnoticed within poultry populations.
This is important information to keep in mind if the government attempts to roll out a mass vaccination campaign on humans for bird flu.
While UW-Madison proposes that “genetic modification could provide a more robust and permanent solution,” it ironically acknowledges a previous study where gene modifications failed to overcome virus mutations:
[R]eplicating virus was detected in one bird and breakthrough infections were detected at higher doses of virus, suggesting potential limitations with this specific IGA [intentional genomically altered] chicken line. In a real-world setting, a mutant virus that adapts to overcome the edited host factor could spread throughout the flock, ultimately compromising the effectiveness of the IGA line.
Another major concern is that these genetically altered chickens will likely end up in our food supply. Genetically modified salmon and pigs have already been approved for human consumption, and this grant application explicitly states that this research provides “a path forward for eventual FDA approval of an IGA chicken line.”
What health or other effects do these types of genetic alterations have on the safety and nutritional value of poultry meat or eggs? Could failed attempts at genetic modification encourage mutations into more virulent strains, similar to what leaky vaccines cause? ICAN intends to keep a close eye on this disturbing franken-science. We will shine a bright light on these activities and take appropriate legal action.​

How Do the Right Nutraceuticals Help Lower PSA?




Recently, numerous patients reported a reduction in their Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test after starting the prescribed lifestyle regimen. They wanted to know what precisely caused such a drop in PSA.



All were keen on ImmunoPCTN and GDtoxSel as the cause of such a reduction, leading to favorable results. Besides following the prescribed lifestyle protocol for prostate cancer, a few already ate clean and exercised; the only difference was consuming ImmunoPCTN and GDtoxSel.



Can Dietary Supplements lower PSA?



In my clinical experience, I've seen specific dietary supplements lower PSA, but, as always, dietary supplements alone are one part of comprehensive lifestyle practices to keeping men cancer-free and PSA stable.



Aside from the whole program being more important than some of its parts, some research supports my clinical experience regarding the effect of dietary supplements on stabilizing PSA.



For example:

  • A combination of pomegranate, broccoli, green tea, and turmeric, compared to placebo, helped lower PSA in men after PSA recurrence after prostate cancer treatment by 63% compared to placebo.

  • When patients with high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (HGPIN), a precursor to prostate cancer, were observed, daily green tea extract supplementation for a year decreased serum PSA concentrations compared with placebo in two trials.

  • In combined LUTS and BPH, supplementation with selenium and Milk thistle (silymarin) for six months produced a significant reduction in PSA in the intervention group.

  • Lastly, broccoli extract stabilized PSA (increased PSA doubling time by 86% - a good thing) in a group of men with prostate cancer recurrence.
As you know, ImmunoPCTN and GDtoxSel contain all the mentioned ingredients plus more that help keep you well.



The PSA reduction from nutraceuticals is not a false positive. In other words, the decline in serum PSA is likely due to some anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative reasons, not the progression of disease despite a decrease in PSA number.



Despite the importance of taking focused dietary supplements to slow down PSA progression and improve longevity, exercise, diet, and the XY Wellness program as a whole are foundational to accomplishing such excellent outcomes.

WARM LEMON MORNING TONIC

How safe is the food on your supermarket shelf?
