We all know that high-quality olive oil has massive health benefits. So I decided to do an experiment on myself and consume at least a couple of shots (2-4 Tablespoons) of high quality olive oil every day.

Here are some of the things I noticed:
  1. Less hunger—Since olive oil is a healthy fat, consuming olive oil stops hunger pangs. But olive oil is a type of fat, and it seems it would cause weight gain. On the contrary, I lost a few pounds the first two weeks of consuming olive oil. And when you look at the research, studies show that people who consumed at least 2T of olive oil a day lost more body fat than those eating similar calories and no olive oil.
  2. Lower blood sugar--Along with less hunger, olive oil helps to lower blood sugar levels, helping to prevent type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance. When blood sugar and insulin are lower, you are less likely to be hungry or to store calories as fat. Olive oil also reduces ghrelin, a hormone that stimulates hunger.
  3. Less aches, pains, and inflammation—Fresh EVOO contains a compound called oleocanthal which has an anti-inflammatory effect like ibuprofen—without the negative side effects. A study from Spain showed that men and women over the age of 55 who consumed olive oil for one month had decreased blood markers for inflammation, especially IFN-y and CXCL1.
  4. Smoother skin—Olive oil is anti-inflammatory, and this is reflected in smoother skin, less sun damage, and reduction of any redness or irritation. The antioxidants in olive oil help prevent aging of the skin, as well as fighting skin cancer. The antibacterial component of olive oil also helps to fight acne and other skin infections. Olive oil applied directly to the skin also works great as an excellent moisturizer and wrinkle fighter.
  5. Improved memory—My thinking was quicker, my focus improved, and my memory was sharper. Olive oil consumption has been shown to have positive effects on cognitive performance. Studies on olive oil consumption show slowed cognitive decline, and decreases in blood markers for Alzheimer’s disease, including amyloid beta proteins, tau, and p-tau.
  6. Improved Cholesterol—While my cholesterol levels are very good, I noticed that total cholesterol numbers dropped, along with lower levels of LDL, and triglycerides—both of which are tied to heart disease. In addition, HDL (our good cholesterol) increased. In a meta-analysis of 27 different trials with olive oil, it was found that HDL increases significantly, while LDL and triglycerides are lowered. All good for heart health and longevity.
  7. Better Digestion and Healthier Microbiome—Olive oil has a lot of gut health benefits. It nourishes beneficial bacteria and helps heal the gut lining. Research shows it relieves gut irritation including bloating and constipation. Certain healthy gut bacteria have positive effects on lowering cholesterol and fat loss, as well as increasing feelings of fullness.
Olive oils’ polyphenols can prevent other serious health issues. Olive oil is effective for its anti-inflammatory whole-body effects, its ability to fight and kill cancer cells, reverse fatty liver disease, protect the kidneys, and promote healthy brain and nerve function. Olive oil is effective for heart disease, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and to prevent or fight many cancers.

Olive oil is truly a powerful superfood and should be included in your diet on a regular basis. While I don’t know if I will continue to have a couple ‘shots’ of olive oil every day, I do know I will be adding generous amounts to my vegetables, salads, soups, and main dishes.

Be sure to look for “Extra Virgin, Cold Pressed” olive oil, and check the bottling date to see how fresh it is. Look for olive oil that comes in a dark tinted GLASS bottle. Avoid plastic or clear bottles. Higher quality olive oil full of polyphenols should have a rich, fruity taste and stings your throat when swallowed—this is a reflection of the amount and quality of the polyphenols it contains.

Tigglee kittie licks up what is left of what i take in the measuring spoon twice daily. Also, spray water on their food to sprinkle a teaspoon of good collagen with three drops of liquid of pre and probiotic, this liquid also helps with kidneys. They get four different kinds of fish with shrimpies and chicken. Not spoiled at all :)

Hey there,

Are you physically intimate but can’t seem to climax?
It’s not your fault. About 70% of women have the same problem.
But even if you’re okay with not climaxing, it can still make you or your partner feel inadequate or like something is wrong.
My good friend Alex struggled with this issue after having her first child.
She no longer desired physical intimacy. Even worse, she could no longer achieve the “Big O.”
She felt like something was wrong with her. She felt discouraged and depressed.
And her partner felt hurt too. He wondered if he wasn’t good enough.
It got to the point where Alex and her husband thought their marriage might not survive.
Fortunately, this story has a happy ending. Nothing was wrong with Alex and nothing was wrong with her partner either.
In fact, thanks to this bizarre upper body alignment technique, Alex was soon able to achieve that gratifying moment that had eluded her since her first child had been born.
It was glorious. Memorable. A reason to celebrate.
The best part is, she has happy endings all the time now.
So what was it that Alex discovered? It’s all revealed right here…

Please note that this page might make you feel uncomfortable. So please don’t click unless you’re okay learning about female physical intimacy issues, okay? :)

Thanksgiving weekend is wrapping up and now Christmas is already staring us in the face.

That usually means longer lists, more errands, and less time to take care of your body.

And for most people, the first thing to get ignored is the spine.

But that’s not you, right???

The funny part is you don’t need a gym membership or a big chunk of time to keep it healthy.

You just need small things woven into what you already do every day.

In this video, I share simple ways to take pressure off your back without adding more to your schedule.

You’ll discover:
  • Posture tweaks you can use at your desk, in the kitchen, or anywhere you stand too long.

  • Why short movement breaks can sometimes beat long workouts for easing stiffness.

  • What “spinal snacks” are, and why they might become your favorite reset.

  • How easy, everyday moves can fit into chores, cooking, or even standing in line.
A few of these take only a minute, but make your spine feel lighter and more supported.

And if you have kids or grandkids, you’ll learn how a quick trip to the park can double as a sneaky back-care session.

These ideas work with your life, not against it.

And the best part is you can start right away.

Circadian Disruption: The Hidden Cancer Link?
Researchers have observed altered clock gene expressions in the lung, breast, colorectal, leukemia, hepatocellular carcinoma, and glioblastoma tissues.

The study, published in Nature Immunology, was led by Bridget M. Fortin, a doctoral candidate in biological chemistry at the University of California, Irvine, United States. She and her colleagues examined whether internal and external circadian disruptions, such as nighttime sleep loss, artificial light exposure, and irregular eating patterns, contributed to the early development of colorectal cancer (CRC). They also examined whether chrono medicine could help optimize chemotherapy and immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy.

Hi Jimi,

I hope EVERY cancer patient will read this NEW research - as soon as possible. Because not all "therapies" are created equal and, in many cases, the results are not what anyone would want.

In addition, I wish public health experts would STOP saying "it's safe" to use something that destroys gut health. Bottom line: these common household products are destroying beneficial bacteria in your digestive system and should be avoided.

How Exercise Benefits Heart Health

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

The best way to lower your heart rate is with regular exercise. I recommend a daily one-hour walk or other moderate activity.

In addition to lowering your heart rate, exercising may also help prevent atrial fibrillation and stroke, according to research presented at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress. This study looked at 15,450 healthy men and women, average age 55, and calculated their fitness on a treadmill test according to a metric called metabolic equivalent of task (MET), which is a ratio of your working metabolic rate relative to your resting metabolic rate.

Special: Change How Your Brain Ages in a Matter of Days. Read More Here...

For instance, one MET is the amount of energy used while sitting quietly. The higher the MET, the fitter the individual. The participants were followed for more than 11 years for new-onset atrial fibrillation, stroke, and major cardiovascular events, a measure that was referred to collectively as MACE (major adverse cardiovascular events).

The researchers found that each one-MET increase on the treadmill test was associated with an 8 percent lower risk of atrial fibrillation, a 12 percent lower risk of stroke, and a 14 percent lower risk of MACE.

A while back, a close friend of ours shared something that has stuck with us ever since.

He said, “Most people aren’t tired… their brains are.”

Then he demonstrated one of the neurological drills he teaches.
It took less than a minute.

We watched someone go from scattered and unfocused to steady, calm, and clear… right in front of us.

It was one of those moments where you realize this is very real and very learnable.

He is teaching the same method on Wednesday night.

If you have cleaned up your diet, gone gluten free, taken your supplements, and you are still struggling with fatigue, brain fog, pain, or autoimmune issues, there is one place most people never think to look.
Your mouth.
Most people have no idea that "routine" dental work can create a chronic source of inflammation and immune stress. Fillings, crowns, root canals, fluoride, implants, braces, whitening treatments, even the materials used in your mouth can all send signals to your immune system.
Tonight at 6:00 pm, I am sitting down with biological dentist to talk about how traditional dentistry might be silently affecting your whole body, and what you can do about it.
Think of it as functional medicine for your teeth and gums.
In this interview, we talk about whether so-called "silver" fillings are really safe, how root canals can harbor hidden infections, what to consider before choosing crowns or implants, the truth about fluoride for thyroid and bone health, how diet and saliva pH drive cavities and gum disease, and even how a dentist can help with snoring, sleep apnea, and airway problems without relying only on a CPAP.
If you have autoimmune disease, chronic inflammation, mystery symptoms, or you are just serious about prevention, this conversation can give you a very different way to think about your teeth, gums, and overall health.

Job Strain Doubles Heart Risk for Men

Dr. Chauncey Crandall, M.D., writes:

A job that’s demanding but less than rewarding may take a toll on a man’s heart health, a study of nearly 6,500 white-collar workers suggested. Researchers found that men who habitually felt stressed on the job had up to twice the risk of developing heart disease.

In some cases, that stress took the form of “job strain,” which meant that workers felt pressure to perform but had little power over how to get their work done. In other cases, the central problem was “effort-reward imbalance.” That’s when employees feel their diligence is not winning adequate returns.

Special: Stress Impacts Your Heart — Now There's Something You Can Do About It

Men who reported either kind of job stress were about 50% more likely to develop heart disease over the next 18 years. The men who cited both types of job stress had twice the risk of their male counterparts who reported neither work issue. There was no similar effect seen among women.

There are plenty of reasons that stress at work could contribute to heart disease. For one, chronic stress can directly affect the cardiovascular system, said Mathilde Lavigne-Robichaud, the lead researcher. “Job strain and effort-reward imbalance can trigger increased heart rate, higher blood pressure, and narrowing of blood vessels in the heart.”

You’ve probably heard it before:

“Diabetes is progressive.”
“You’ll always need meds.”
“It only gets worse.”

But large, respected studies are saying something very different:

In the DiRECT trial, nearly half of the people reversed their type 2 after one year on a food-first weight loss plan. Many stayed off meds entirely.

Another study found a 58% drop in type 2 risk from simple lifestyle changes. 71% in people over 60.

That means their blood sugar levels returned to the safe zone, mostly without the need for medication.

If that gives you even the tiniest flicker of hope, hold onto it.

Because there’s a powerful 90-minute online class available now that’s changing the story for thousands of people just like you.

Watch Tackling Type 2 with Brenda Davis RD here

The point? Food is not a footnote in your journey. It’s the lever that moves everything.

This masterclass shows you how to use that lever, starting now.

What You’ll Learn Inside This Masterclass

Brenda Davis, RD, one of the most trusted dietitians on the planet, walks you through exactly what’s causing insulin resistance behind the scenes, and how to calm it down naturally with food.

She’ll show you:

Why it’s not carbs that are the real problem.

How to build blood-sugar-friendly meals that actually fill you up and taste good.

What one study called the most effective diet for lowering blood sugar and getting off meds.

How a small shift after meals (like a 10-minute walk) can help you soak up blood sugar naturally even if you haven’t exercised in years.

And how people in Brenda’s own program lowered their A1C by 1.3 points, reduced or eliminated meds, and even reached remission, all with everyday food.

These are not gimmicks. They are strategies backed by real science, real doctors, and real lives changed.

Let's face it—you're tired of dieting rules.

Counting every calorie, forcing down six small meals a day, or choking on tasteless "healthy" food isn't the key to getting real, lasting results. Timing is.

Intermittent Fasting (IF) flips the entire script on conventional dieting. It stops the cycle of calorie counting and instead trains your body to do something revolutionary: burn stored fat for fuel instead of relying on sugar.

If you are ready to move past the frustration of traditional dieting and embrace a simpler, more powerful method for sustainable weight loss and energy, you need to read this.

Discover why Intermittent Fasting is more powerful than any diet you've ever tried:
