The US military has been extremely agressive about vaccinating its troops with both licensed and unlicensed vaccines, no informed consent, under the "Just Do It" doctrine

Finally their tyrannical and often illegal practices are being challenged. Some people were held down and forcibly vaccinated. CHD has filed suit against the DOW's fake attempts to comply with the law

I avoid refined sugar whenever possible (yes, even during the holidays).

That doesn’t mean I skip dessert or suck the joy out of Christmas. It just means I’m more intentional about the treats I choose and how I bake.

Here's the truth about refined sugar...

  • White sugar, brown sugar, and powdered sugar are all ultra-processed forms of refined sugar.
  • They’re boiled, filtered, bleached, and stripped down until nothing is left but a cheap, dead sweetener with no nutritional value. Every natural mineral and plant compound is taken out. What you’re left with is pure stimulation for your taste buds and nothing your body can actually use.
  • Brown sugar begins as white sugar. It simply has molasses added back in to make it “brown” again.
  • Corn syrup is also ultra-processed. It’s made by breaking GMO corn starch down with enzymes and chemicals, then heavily refined and filtered into a clear, concentrated sweetener where all natural nutrients and minerals have been stripped out.
  • Unless a sugar says it is “cane sugar” on an ingredient label it's probably made from GMO sugar beets. Any sugar (including Cane Sugar) that is NOT organic could have been sprayed with Roundup, Atrazine, and other harmful pesticides.
When you eat refined sugar, it hits your system fast. Your blood sugar spikes, insulin jumps, and your body starts working overtime to bring things back into balance.

That whole process creates extra acidity in the body. And since refined sugar doesn’t have any minerals to buffer it, your body has to use its own mineral stores.

This diminishes your immune system, makes you more tired, anxious, and wreaks havoc on your skin.

You truly can minimize or avoid so many health issues simply by replacing refined sugar with healthier (unrefined) options!

You see, I don't believe that treats need to be unhealthy. There's a way to make fun and festive treats that don't demolish your health and taste incredibly delicious.

I've also found after years of avoiding refined sugar, I prefer desserts made without it. My palate has adjusted and my body knows what is best for it (I can literally feel the difference if I eat something with refined sugar - and it makes me feel awful).

Here are several ways I replace refined sugar in my baking, and they even pack in nutrition:

Organic Coconut Palm Sugar – It’s an easy 1-to-1 substitute for baking recipes that call for regular sugar and brown sugar, and works great in most cookie recipes. It’s completely unrefined, helping to preserve all of its vitamins and minerals, and it has a lower glycemic index than refined sugar.

Organic Maple Syrup – This can replace things like corn syrup, white sugar, or even powdered sugar in glazes and baking. Because it's a liquid, you usually use a little less than you would refined sugar and slightly reduce other liquids in the recipe so the texture stays right. It’s not refined or bleached, and it still contains natural minerals from the tree.

Organic Date Sugar – Date sugar doesn’t dissolve so it’s great for sprinkling on top of baked goods in place of powdered sugar (though not as sweet). It’s produced by grinding dried dates into a powder, so it’s unrefined and still contains fiber and naturally occurring nutrients.

Food Babe’s Sweet Blend – I make a delicious blend with organic raw pitted dates, prunes, bananas and sometimes applesauce or maple syrup together in the blender along with some fat – either organic coconut oil or melted organic butter. It makes the most deliciously sweet cookies or cakes! No processing and all nutrition.

Stop USDA’s Regenerative Agriculture Cuts

Regenerative and organic farmers have never needed you more!
The Trump Administration has been crashing a wrecking ball into the U.S. Department of Agriculture all year. Now it wants us to believe that two cents is more than one dollar because two is more than one.
After refusing to disburse $6.062 billion appropriated by Congress for family farmers adopting regenerative agriculture practices and serving local markets, we’re now supposed to celebrate because it is earmarking $700 million for regenerative agriculture.
This is money Congress appropriated for two regenerative agriculture programs (the Environmental Quality Incentives Program and the Conservation Stewardship Program) with a total annual budget of $4.515 billion. So, $3.815 billion (84 percent) of EQIP and CSP funds will be going to factory farms and pesticide-drenched genetically modified field crops.
Admittedly, Trump’s USDA isn’t the first to misappropriate these funds, but it is the first to celebrate it.
TAKE ACTION! Remind Congress: It Appropriated $4.5B for Regenerative, It Can’t Let USDA Only Give It $700M!

‘Soil Is More Important Than Oil’: Inside the Perennial Grain Revolution

by Ben Martynoga, The Guardian:
“Replacing annual plants with perennial varieties would massively reduce agriculture’s environmental impact. Soil erosion would drop; perennials would instead build soil health, limiting runoff of nutrients and toxic farm chemicals, cutting fertilizer and pesticide use, and storing climate-heating carbon within farm soils.
There is just one problem. Reliable, high-yielding perennial grain crops barely exist.
The inspiration for the Land Institute’s push to develop perennial grains came from its founder, Wes Jackson, 89. For Jackson, the health of soils that generate 95% of human calories should be a primary concern for all civilizations. ‘Soil is more important than oil,’ he says in a recent documentary. ‘Soil is as much of a non-renewable resource as oil. Start there, and ask: ‘What does that require of us?’”
Jackson hit upon an answer during a visit to a native prairie reserve in Kansas in the late 1970s

PESTICIDES

Toxic Chemicals in Our Food System Are Costing the World Trillions

Sustainable Pulse:
“A new report finds that four major groups of toxic chemicals, including phthalates, bisphenols, pesticides and PFAS ‘forever chemicals’, are imposing up to $3 trillion a year in preventable health care and environmental damage around the world. These hazardous substances are used at every stage of the food system, from fertilizers and pesticides in the field to processing and packaging, and contribute to disease, reproductive harm, ecosystem degradation, and long-term economic instability.
The analysis shows the true cost of chemical pollution is massive and argues that stronger regulation and safer alternatives could dramatically cut these harms and protect public health.
This important report presents enormous amounts of scientific evidence on the harms of toxic chemicals to build a clear case for action. Through case studies, it demonstrates from empirical, real-world experience that regulation works, that reduction of exposure to toxic chemicals is possible, and that exposure reduction prevents disease and saves lives. It shows that consumer chemicals, especially those to which children are intimately exposed, require the same level of regulatory oversight as pharmaceuticals.”

When the winter solstice approaches, the Earth nears its longest night and shortest day of the year. After this climactic event, the light will begin to return once more. The ancients used candles and bonfires to entice the sun to return, and this ritual is still practiced today.

Many mystical traditions view the world a metaphor, reflecting back to us the cycles and structures that exist within ourselves. With that in mind, this is the perfect time to imitate the natural world, and clear out the old, making room for a spring renewal… to release any negative feelings from your mind and heart space, and call positive energy in.

While we love to do the ritual below around the winter solstice, it can be done any time you feel you need to center yourself in gratitude and positivity.

What You Need

  • A natural candle (preferably beeswax)
  • Matches or a lighter
Directions

Step 1 - Place your candle in a relaxing, quiet environment. Be sure that you place it on a safe and even surface for burning, with no fire hazards nearby. You can choose to use one or more candles, whatever feels right.

*Using a natural beeswax candle will ensure that no toxins are released into the air and thus into your body. You want a clean burn!

Step 2 - It’s time to quiet your mind and set an intention for your practice. What do you want to bring into your life or give gratitude for? What do you want to release? Focus on those positive thoughts in your mind.

Step 3 - Take a breath in through your nose, and release it slowly through your mouth. Repeat this four times.

As you breathe in, try to keep your mind focused on positive thoughts. As you breathe out, imagine pushing out any negative thoughts that you may be feeling or that you find creeping in. If you feel that your mind begins to drift, just try to find your way gently back to your breath.

Take as long as you need. When you feel that you are complete, you can let the candle continue to burn to completion, or you can blow it out so that you can use it again.

Perhaps you revisit this practice daily until the candle has been reduced to nothing. Just follow whatever feels right to you.

The more time we make to connect with our hearts in silence, and the closer we get to the cycles and rhythms of nature, the lighter our hearts will feel. In this darkest moment of the year, the bright flame of the candle reminds us of the light that will be coming soon.

Wishing you an enchanting and transformative solstice!

Rediscovering the Art and Science of Sound Therapy

John Stuart Reid and Annaliese Reid illustrate how sound is fast regaining its place as a powerful healing modality. Having first been used by the ancients, sound therapy has undergone a period of re-discovery and is now poised to reveal the intricacies of healing both at the cellular and psychological levels.

Experience The Science of Sound

For centuries, the pineal gland has been shrouded in mystery. French philosopher René Descartes called it the “seat of the soul,” and spiritual traditions across the world have linked it to higher consciousness. But modern science has largely overlooked how to activate this powerful organ — until now.

Through decades of research in cymatics — the study of how sound interacts with matter — revered acoustics pioneer John Stuart Reid has discovered how specific sonic frequencies can physically stimulate the pineal gland, unlocking expanded awareness, deepening intuition, and enhancing overall wellbeing.

This discovery is rooted in one of cymatics’ fundamental insights — that our third eye is activated through how physical eyes process sound.

You’re invited to join us for a 60-minute event during which John will guide you through a sonic activation, allowing you to directly experience this mechanism in action and understand how to apply it in your own life.

In collaboration with Professor Sungchul Ji
— esteemed Rutgers University scientist known for pioneering interdisciplinary research in molecular biology, biophysics, and the integration of quantum principles into biological processes — John’s research has also uncovered another extraordinary truth:

Low-frequency sound mimics the body’s own heartbeat rhythms, causing red blood cells to absorb more oxygen — a process that enhances healing, reduces inflammation, and promotes cellular rejuvenation.

This means that music isn’t just something we feel — it’s a biological force that has the power to transform us at a cellular level.

Watch this LIVE on Saturday, December 20 @ 2pm EST.

Dear HealingStrong community,

In recent months, I’ve found myself in a season of discouragement—one that unexpectedly brought with it increased anxiety and depression. I don’t fully understand why it happened, but it did. And in the midst of it, I found myself wondering if God was listening.

What followed has been a slow and steady tender season of restoration. I am deeply grateful for my family and friends who surrounded me with love—and even more grateful to the Lord, who heard my cry and sent sweet, timely moments to remind me of His promises and His faithfulness.

One of those moments came just the other night as my oldest son and I were praying together. After we finished, he looked at me and said, “Mom, I feel like the Lord wants me to encourage you to Remember.”

That word has stayed with me. I’ve been thinking about it often, and it led me back to one very important memory—one of the very first “big” remembrances in the story of HealingStrong. It takes me all the way back to 2013, to our very first HealingStrong conference and retreat.

Chris Wark was serving as our emcee, and we were in the middle of our first large gift giveaway. As the volunteers gathered the baskets, I realized that we didn’t have enough gifts for everyone. To our surprise, the conference had sold out—and even then, people showed up the day of the event, begging to get in. The room was overflowing. Attendees were sitting against the walls, in the aisles, and even our volunteers gave up their seats.

Feeling the weight of it, I walked up to Chris at the podium and quietly asked him to encourage those attending together to please take just one gift, since we didn’t have enough for everyone. He looked at me and simply said,“Fishes and loaves, Suzy. Fishes and loaves.”

Right there, we prayed and asked God to expand what we had. And do you know what He did?

Not only did everyone receive a gift—we had basketfuls left over. The math didn’t make sense. We had counted and planned, and this was just a beautiful confirmation that God will provide.

You can see the images below of baskets with countless leftovers.

Since that moment in 2013, HealingStrong has continued to serve the community God entrusted to us—often with meager means, but always with great faith. It has been a beautiful testimony of how God uses willing hearts: individuals who bring their stories, their prayers, their service, their treasures, their writing, counseling, creativity, wisdom, and love. Through them, God brings healing to this community.

We are an organization committed to living within our means. We have never borrowed money, nor have we taken government grants or subsidies. Instead, we trust God to provide. We trust Him to lead. And we trust Him to show us how to reach the hearts of those He is calling.

As I’ve been praying and preparing for the year ahead, the Lord has gently brought me back once again to that familiar story—the one found in John 6, the story of the fishes and the loaves. I wanted to share this story with you. You can read it below, or listen along with our HealingStrong community readings.

I pray you are encouraged to remember those times in your own life that God showed up. If you can’t remember, spend some quiet time with Him in prayer and listening to His Word. Ask Him to show you. He is faithful.

Thank you for being part of HealingStrong. I am so grateful for each of you.

Sincerely,

Suzy Griswold
Founder and Executive Director
