The USDA announced a recall of 23,000 lbs of ground beef tonight--despite full inspection in a USDA approved facility. The meat was processed 4 weeks ago.

The type of E. coli found in the meat can cause kidney failure and death. This is a Class 1 recall, the most serious type. Snippets below.

TAKE ACTION

Expand Sales of Homemade Food in Your State

Cottage businesses not only empower entrepreneurs, and artisan/craftspersons to turn their skills into profitable businesses, they also foster community development, promote local economic growth, and preserve traditional practices and recipes.

Every state has some kind of “cottage food” law that lets home cooks sell food to the public. These range from onerous (Delaware) to expansive (Wyoming), but few are perfect. Even in Maine, known for its Food Sovereignty Act, things could be easier for kitchen entrepreneurs.

As the Institute for Justice’s Food Freedom Initiative attests:

Cottage food is safe. Critics who talk about the risk of food-borne illness give hypothetical examples of what could go wrong because real-world cases are rare or nonexistent. There has never been an outbreak of foodborne illness from food sold under a cottage food law–even in California, a state with an economy bigger than most countries that has one of the most expansive laws.

Cottage food is local. When neighbors trade with neighbors, money stays in the local economy and creates and strengthens communities.

Cottage food is transparent. People who buy from a cottage food producer know what they get. If they have questions about ingredients, sourcing or safety, they can ask.

Your legislators need to hear from you, even if you live in a state that already has a pretty good cottage food law. Things could change and not always for the better.

TAKE ACTION: Demand Cottage Food Freedom! Expand Sales of Homemade Food in Your State!

TOXIC SLUDGE

Contaminated: The Carpet Industry

Marie Jackson’s father died in 2022 after struggling with several illnesses. Then, about a year ago, her goats started dying. Now, Marie has nodules growing on her thyroid. She and her parents worked at the local stain-resistant carpet factories in Dalton, GA, that have since been exposed as among the biggest PFAS polluters in the world.

Marie suspected she and her parents had forever chemicals in their blood and that their decades of PFAS exposure were to blame for their health problems. Last fall, she and her mother finally learned the truth. Their PFAS levels were well above safety thresholds.

The communities in and around Dalton, Georgia, are becoming endocrine cancer hotspots because stain-resistant carpet companies have been dumping their PFAS-contaminated waste onto their land and into their water. Concerns are growing that the PFAS contamination has gotten into the local food supply.

Dalton Utilities has forested land they use as a dump for carpet wastewater that they know is soaked with PFAS, but it has long-hosted hunts for wildlife there. Dalton Utilities spreads its carpet-waste sludge on farms and even gave it to home gardeners as “compost.” Dalton is an extreme but not unusual case. Toxic sludge is dumped on farmland and sold as compost across the country.

SUPPORT OCA & RI

Fight for Healthier, Real Food

For too long, corporate interests have dominated our food system, putting profits over people and the planet.

But you can help us change that. The Organic Consumers Association is working tirelessly to promote a more just and sustainable food system, and we need your support.

Two critical issues demand our attention:

1. Cottage Food Freedom: We’re fighting to empower local food producers and promote community development by expanding sales of homemade food in every state. Cottage food is safe, local, and transparent – and it’s time our laws reflect that.

2. Toxic Sludge-Free Farms: We’re working to stop the dumping of toxic sewage sludge on farmland and protect our food supply from contamination.
Forever chemicals like PFAS are poisoning our land, water, and bodies – and it’s time to take action.

Will you join us in this fight?

Your donation will help us advocate for policies that support local food producers, organic and regenerative farm practices and promote community development. As well as exposing the truth about PFAS toxic sewage sludge, pesticides and their impact on our food system.

Help us continue to build this growing movement of concerned people who care about their food and the health of planet for now and future generations. Together, we can create a healthier, more just food system for all.

Please consider donating today, you can help make a difference!

NEW REVIEW

Ultra-Processed Foods Are Engineered To Hijack Your Brain and Should Be Treated Like Big Tobacco

Eric W. Dolan, PsyPost:

“A new comprehensive analysis suggests that ultra-processed foods should no longer be viewed simply as food. Instead, a team of researchers argues these products function more like industrially produced addictive substances.

The review, published in The Milbank Quarterly, draws parallels between the modern food industry and the tobacco industry of the 20th century. The authors propose that manufacturers use sophisticated engineering to create compulsive consumption patterns.

This perspective challenges the traditional view that overeating is solely a failure of individual willpower. It implies that the products themselves are designed to override the body’s natural signals. The analysis synthesizes evidence from addiction science, nutrition, and public health history. It outlines how ultra-processed foods hijack the brain’s reward systems in ways that mirror the effects of nicotine.”

The review focuses on the transformation of raw ingredients into highly potent delivery systems

Major developments are unfolding across America — and today, guest host Jefferey Jaxen breaks down the policy, food system, and investigative stories everyone will be talking about.
With over 700 vaccine-related bills introduced nationwide in just the first months of the year, Dawn Richardson of the National Vaccine Information Center joins us live to explain what’s driving this unprecedented legislative wave and what it could mean moving forward.
Also, how close were Bill Gates and Jeffrey Epstein? Emerging documents suggest the relationship may have been more extensive than Gates has publicly characterized, reigniting global debate over Epstein’s powerful network of connections. We examine what the documents reveal, what investigators are saying, and why these disclosures are once again drawing worldwide attention.
Plus, Jefferey premieres the newest installment of Jefferey Jaxen Investigates: The Great American Food Fight, Part 1, exploring historic shifts underway in the American food system, premiering this Sunday, February 15th, only on HighWire.Plus! Jefferey welcomes a critical guest from the upcoming Food investigation, author Matt Lysiak, to tackle chemical-ridden food in the military, and the new food pyramid that literally turned everything on its head.
Then, Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo joins us live to discuss the state’s new Healthy Florida First initiative targeting chemicals and contaminants in baby formula and the food supply — and why other states may soon follow.

When was the last time you thought about your table salt?

If your answer is “never,” I get it.

Most people don’t think about it at all.

It’s just salt, right? Just something you shake onto your food without a second thought.

But, I came across a report that I wanted to share with you, because recent testing found major contaminants in two of the most common types sold in American grocery stores.

Before you season dinner tonight, take a minute to download the free report and give it a look:

Hi there Jimi,

Traumatic brain injury doesn't require being knocked unconscious or obvious head trauma. In the latest episode of Gordon Medical Forum, Eric Gordon, MD, sits down with Mark Gordon, MD, to discuss how mild whiplash, blast exposure, or repetitive impacts trigger cellular mechanotransduction, initiating neuroinflammation that suppresses the hypothalamus and disrupts hormone production throughout the body.
Dr. Mark Gordon discusses why biological resiliency determines who develops severe symptoms from minor trauma, how inflammation blocks neurotransmitter synthesis and receptor function, and why optimizing hormones like pregnenolone, DHEA, and testosterone alongside reducing neuroinflammation is essential for recovery from TBI, depression, Parkinson's, and other neurodegenerative conditions.

Episode Highlights:
  • Mild or unrecognized TBI initiates chronic neuroinflammation and neuroendocrine disruption.
  • Biological resiliency based on lifestyle factors determines who develops severe symptoms from the same traumatic exposure.
  • Gut dysbiosis, aging, and toxins amplify neurodegenerative risk, necessitating targeted therapeutic strategies.

So...
I was curious about why roses are so connected to Valentine’s Day. What do roses really have to do with love and romance?
Could it be that roses are aphrodisiacs?
I decided to experiment.
My friends and I spent an entire month playing with roses.
At first, some of them were dubious.
"Roses, ugh. Their scent is too strong!” "They remind me of my grandmother.” But they played along anyway…
  • We tended rose plants and gathered rose petals in beautiful places.
  • We made rose massage oil, rose lip balm, and chocolate truffles rolled in rose petal powder.
  • We burned rose incense and floated rose petals in our baths.
  • We drank strawberry rose shrubs and rose-infused tequila.
Oh, and we made rose petal-infused honey. I think that one was my favorite! The taste and smell is absolutely divine and licking it from a spoon or finger is a delicious, sensual experience.
One woman noticed that the simple act of adding rose petals to her bath made her feel like a queen.
Another woman, who had just ended a multiyear relationship, was soothed and coaxed back into her sensuality as a girlfriend rubbed rose massage oil into her back.
And, before the end of the month, one of my friends was pregnant! No joke. Really.
Rose swept us off our feet in ways we never expected.
How did the roses work this magic?
Turns out, there are flavonoids and aromatic constituents within roses that help calm and protect our central nervous system and work with the GABA receptors in our brain to help relieve anxiety.
Roses can also be a tonic for our reproductive systems and can help nourish and heal our skin.
A few years ago, I took a deep dive into learning about these qualities of aphrodisiac herbs so that I could write my book…

Must-See Updates Below👇

Kentucky HB103 – Water Fluoridation Law Amendment

MAHA’s Position: 👍 Vote yes!

Why This Matters:
The MAHA Movement supports this bill because it ends one‑size‑fits‑all fluoridation mandates and restores local control and community choice over adding a neuroactive industrial chemical to drinking water. By allowing communities to opt out of fluoridation and shielding local decision‑makers who act reasonably and in good faith, HB103 aligns with MAHA’s priorities of cleaner water, reduced toxic exposures, and informed, locally driven health decisions rather than mass medication through public infrastructure.
By making community water fluoridation optional and protecting local leaders who choose to end it, this bill advances MAHA’s vision of pure drinking water, local self‑determination, and reduced involuntary exposure to potentially harmful substances.

Wyoming HB0007 – SNAP Junk Food Elimination

MAHA’s Position: 👍 Vote yes!

Why This Matters:
The MAHA Movement supports this bill because it prevents SNAP dollars from being spent on junk food and ultra‑processed food, redirecting limited nutrition assistance toward real, nourishing food. By targeting soda, candy, chips, desserts, and similar items that drive metabolic disease and poor health, HB0007 aligns with MAHA’s goal of using public nutrition programs to support genuine, whole‑food nutrition rather than subsidizing the ultra‑processed food industry.
By seeking to block SNAP purchases of candy, soda, chips, desserts, and other ultra‑processed food, this bill advances MAHA’s vision of government nutrition programs that fund real food, not junk.

Dear Jimi,

Hormonal imbalances, chronic inflammation, and the stress put on the entire body create the perfect storm for cancer – and premature aging is simply a visible sign of these issues.

And while these problems may be deemed as “normal,” they’re the reason why we see younger people dealing with cancer in the first place, as well as why seniors tend to spend decades in sub-optimal health.

The good news is that the biological age of our body isn’t fixed – and we have plenty of strategies to reverse premature aging, promote resilience, and thus keep cancer at bay…

These strategies include tools such as rebalancing hormones, calming inflammation, and creating habits that protect long-term health.

You will find all of this crucial information inside of Episode 4, which is now live for the next 24 hours:

The Most Hormonally Regenerative Fruit on Earth

How Pomegranate Delivers Bioidentical Estrogens, Rejuvenates Endocrine Health, and Regenerates and Prolongs Life in the Way the Creator Intended.

I have always been interested in pomegranates. A pomegranate bush grew outside my bedroom window all my childhood life. Apparently it was there when we moved into the house when I was a baby. My dad always tried to kill it, thinking he was allergic to it. Of all the pollen, seeds and other stuff drifting in the air, he eyed that pom bush with sheer vengeance. He chopped it down. It grew back. He dug it up. It grew back from roots. He covered it. Didn't work. Always it came back, grew back up quickly, always thrived. Now and then it produced the red fruits, and we kids would smash them open and eat those juicy little arils.

Nowadays, I can't get enough pomegranate juice. It is so sweet with nothing added to it, yet still low in calories. Recently these appeared in the grocery store, not frozen, fresh:

Pom arils.PNG

A bit expensive, but so delicious in yogurt.

I'm not surprised that something that grows so hardily would do good things for our bodies.

Dear Jimi,

Today is the first of a four-part series on the efficacy of high-quality, highly-target nutraceuticals, and how this manifests itself in the three new, condition-specific Regimen Kits now available through XY Wellness.

We are really proud of the remarkable results we are contributing for men like you who are overcoming the implications of prostate cancer, and as you will see at the conclusion of this four-part series, our commitment to you and your good health informs everything that we do here.

Let’s start with a baseline or context about the power of well-designed, high-quality nutraceuticals.

Why Dietary Supplements Matter and Which Ones are Right for You

After over twenty years of practicing nutritional and lifestyle medicine, I can confidently say that the right, well-manufactured dietary supplements are essential for optimal health and longevity. Yes, diet is important, of course, but the inconvenient truth is that you can't get everything from food. It is simply not possible. So even if we'd eat as healthy as possible, our food supply is depleted in nutrients, and many times a therapeutic dose of a nutrient would require an impractical amount of food. Also, who's practicing a perfect diet? From my clinical experience, no one is, which is why consuming the proper nutraceuticals is so essential.

If we break down a dietary supplement, it will go like this; a non-food substance, mostly in pill, powder, or liquid form, that provides key nutrients and substances to keep us healthy with optimal functionality. Dietary supplements contain three main types: minerals, vitamins, and herbs. Vitamins and minerals are essential for optimal health and to protect us from disease. Medicinal herbs have therapeutic properties directly from nature to help us fight many illnesses. Think about it. Modern medicine with the use of pharmaceutical drugs has been around for only about 150 years. We have used medicinal herbs and potions for thousands of years as primary therapeutic agents.

How do dietary supplements work in prostate cancer?

Your goal with prostate cancer is to create a hostile microenvironment for cancer cells so that "no self-respecting cancerous cell would want to stay in your body," as my friend and colleague Dr. Ronald Hoffman would say. The right nutraceutical combination synergizes with exercise, diet, and exercise to reduce chronic inflammation, strengthen immunity and protect against oxidative stress, creating an unfavorable cancer environment in the body.

What Nutraceuticals Work Best for Prostate Cancer?

For over a decade, I have focused on developing targeted formulations for men with prostate cancer to eliminate the guesswork. Life is complicated and living with a potentially life-threatening condition doesn't make it easier. The internet is filled with bogus, unscientific information on what to take for every ailment, which makes things even more confusing. The XY Wellness nutraceuticals have proven to be effective in dropping PSA and keeping men well from prostate cancer.

Our carefully designed supplements have also helped many men with urinary problems and overall prostate health and lowered the risk of prostate cancer in men who have not yet been diagnosed. Our members on ADT for prostate cancer have the most comprehensive mixture of nutraceuticals to reduce unwanted side effects from hormone therapy while keeping them well against malignant cells. And, to improve convenience and a "no-excuse" scenario, our specialized dietary supplements come in packets to avoid the burden of opening too many bottles at once, leading to poor compliance. The XY Wellness Regimen Kits make it easy to keep yourself well as your body fights for you with one simple AM and PM packet of focused dietary supplements.

That’s it for Part One. Over the next week or so, you will receive a newsletter on each Regimen kit:

Be Healthy,

Dr. Geo, Co-founder & Medical Director

Hey Jimi,

Some news doesn’t just change your day, it changes the rest of your life.

In 2018, a 65-year-old man was facing a terrifying health battle.

He had surgery to remove a growth, but months later, it had spread to his lungs.

He tried everything the system offered.

He took the heavy medications and the immune boosters.

But they came with a cascade of “side effects”…and they weren't stopping the problem.

By 2020, he made a choice most people think is impossible.

He stepped away from the standard path.

He radically changed how he looked at healing.

According to a published report, he adopted a very strict food plan and a specific "alternative" protocol that isn't sold in pharmacies.

What happened next defied all expectations.

The painful side effects stopped.

His life returned to normal.

But the real shocker came in 2023…five years after he was told it had spread.

His doctors documented him in complete remission.

It begs the question:

Primordial Medicine From The Cradle Of Humanity

Hi Jimi,

A few years ago, the film crew and I jumped on a small prop plane and flew to the island of Roatan, a tropical paradise off the coast of Honduras. Our mission (as always) was to meet with the native healers of the region and learn more about their specific rituals and remedies.

Like many of the islands in this corner of the Southern Caribbean, the population is of predominantly African origin. The descendants of former slaves who were brought here against their will hundreds of years ago.

Over the centuries, these resilient and brilliant people have not only persevered, they have kept their ancient traditions largely intact. You can experience this firsthand in the delicious foods you smell in the marketplaces, and also in the effective herbal medicines that they use to treat just about everything.

We’ve had the honor of learning from some extraordinary African medicine lineages that still live on in the Americas. From the Taino people of Puerto Rico to the Creole healing traditions of the Gulf Region, to more remote island cultures like that of Roatan.

The healing knowledge that comes from the African continent - considered by many to be the cradle of humanity - is a vast ocean of primordial information. It can be intimidating to dip a toe into, but if you live near just about any major city, there are places to learn. When I lived in NYC, I followed the breadcrumb trail and discovered a system of Afro-Cuban folk medicine shops called Botánicas that were usually run by kind and insightful folks who were ready to guide you into the tradition. Like many things in life, once I found my first botánica I started to see them everywhere throughout the city.

The folk healing schools of Africa have survived the millennia and are still relied upon by millions of people to this day for one reason...

Because they work.

To give you a taste of this multidimensional lineage of ancient medicine, our friends at Herbalism Conferences have created a free e-book called African American Herbal Recipes.

The recipes and remedies it contains were carefully curated from various cultures across the African continent and each one has plenty of science to support its health benefits.

Highly recommend checking it out!

Abundance

Hey Jimi,
I've been teaching about abundance for over 25 years, and I'm about to do something I've never done before.
For the first time ever, I'm going to show up every single day for 40 days to hold the container and guide you through the daily abundance work that creates lasting transformation.
Here's what I know to be true:
The Abundance Principle Coaching Program has brought thousands of people out of lack and into abundance, time and time again.
But the most important part of that transformation?
The daily work.
It's the day-to-day practice of aligning your consciousness so you radiate abundance rather than lack. That's what attracts more abundance to you through the Law of Attraction and the Law of Sufficiency and Abundance.
I've been going back to basics and doing this process myself, and I can see the difference it makes.
Now I want to experience it with you—as a community.
Starting March 1st, we'll gather every day for approximately 30 minutes to:
  • Read and contemplate a daily abundance statement (based on John Randolph Price's powerful work)
  • Meditate together in silence for 15 minutes while the Council holds the container
  • Journal for 2-3 minutes to capture your insights
That's it. Simple, powerful, transformational.

Ginseng Fights Parkinson's Disease

Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D., writes:

Studies have shown that various forms of ginseng have special properties that protect against Parkinson’s disease.

For example, in an animal model of human Parkinson’s disease, Panax ginseng — which contains high levels of a compound called Rg1 — significantly reduced the death of neurons in the part of the brain most damaged in Parkinson’s disease, called the substantia nigra. This occurred possibly by increasing the levels of critical antioxidant molecules in these brain cells — glutathione and superoxide dismutase.

Special: Brain Doctor: Simple Way to Stay Mentally Sharp

Ginseng was also shown to protect these same neurons in other models of Parkinson’s disease in which a metabolic product of dopamine (6-hydroxydopamine) was used, as well as in a rotenone model.

Rotenone is a commonly used pesticide that is a major environmental cause of Parkinson’s disease. In one study, it was found that taking ginseng orally could completely protect the substantia nigra neurons from a very powerful brain toxin called MPTP, which is used to create animal models of human Parkinson’s, and can produce Parkinson’s in humans as well.

Importantly, ginseng protection worked even if it was taken two days after exposure to the toxin.

Panax ginseng was found to increase the amount of dopamine in the brain area affected in Parkinson’s, the striatum, and also reduced the iron level in this critical brain area. Accumulation of excess iron is known to be one of the earliest damaging events in Parkinson’s.

Components of American ginseng also provided considerable protection of these important neurons. American ginseng protects against Parkinson’s-related brain damage by inhibiting nitric oxide accumulation in the brain and by reducing inflammatory brain mechanisms.

Combining a healthy diet, exercise, and the use of other protective supplemental compounds will greatly increase success in combating this terrible disorder.

Hi there Jimi,

This past Friday, Drs. Jennifer Sugden, Jamie Kunkle, and Jenny Nelson came together live for our Gordon Medical Forum Ask Us Anything About Gut Health & MCAS webinar.

The doctors covered a wide range of topics, sharing clinical insights and real-world context based directly on your questions.
Additional Resources

We’ve also gathered a few additional resources to support continued learning around gut health and MCAS in the context of complex chronic illness:

✅ Protecting Your Gut in a Toxic World with Dr. Lyn Patrick

✅ The Link Between MCAS and Chronic Illness with Dr. Tania Dempsey

✅ How Food, Light & Sleep Shape Circadian Biology with Dr. Eleanor Stein

✅ MCAS: A Hidden Driver of Complex Chronic Illness
Mark your calendars and register now for our next Gordon Medical Forum LIVE, March 4 at 12:30 pm PT | 3:30 ET, Ask Us Anything About Chronic Lyme and Tick-Borne Illness Treatment.

Join ILADS President Steven Harris, MD, for an open Q&A on treatment approaches for Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses. In this open Q&A, we welcome questions ranging from therapeutic considerations, including when IV antibiotics may be clinically appropriate, to other supportive strategies used in complex cases, including plasmapheresis.
Traumatic brain injury doesn't require being knocked unconscious or obvious head trauma. In the latest episode of Gordon Medical Forum podcast, Eric Gordon, MD, sits down with Mark Gordon, MD, to discuss how mild whiplash, blast exposure, or repetitive impacts trigger cellular mechanotransduction, initiating neuroinflammation that suppresses the hypothalamus and disrupts hormone production throughout the body.

To your good health!

I’ve seen many people in our community walk through a terrifying diagnosis.

And when they did, it didn’t just attack the body.

It reshaped their entire life.

The fear, the exhaustion, and the choices no one prepares you for can be overwhelming.

That’s why I can’t stop thinking about a 73-year-old woman I recently read about.

She was facing a very advanced stage of a rare illness.

After months of harsh treatments and feeling her body decline, she was told she needed more.

She made a choice many people quietly face: She said “no.”

She didn’t give up, though.

She decided to try a different path…

where focused on reducing metabolic stress, used long periods of fasting…

and tried a specific "misfit" protocol that mainstream medicine often ignores.

What happened next was documented over 38 months.

Slowly but surely, her body began to change.

When she went back for her scans, the results were something the doctors didn't expect:

  • The growth had significantly reduced.
  • There was no sign of it spreading.
  • She had entered partial remission.

This isn’t about being rebellious.

It’s about asking why stories like hers are almost never part of the main conversation.

Why is this "rejected" solution, and so many others like it, kept in the shadows?

That question sits at the heart of my new docuseries, Beyond the Diagnosis.

Which airs on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 8 PM ET.
