What's the id and # of wraps?
Well officer, I got a 2 mm ID at 5 wraps and it's NiCh 80 25 awg wrapped with 30 awg just a twist not Clapton. When I a check her, she a tell me she run around at 0.30 ohms. that a for me is so nice too, I am a good boy, I like the 030 ohms.
are the coils too close to the cap?
Sir, is that some illicit agricultural treat I smell from your car? I mean honestly, I am only using the one coil and she a be pretty well down into the Gorge RDA. Found out I like wick getting juice quicker. Now, Do I gotta step outta my car for a whiz test and straight line walk?
Quick question, what would be the best coil wire to use with the pulse x RDA and the profile RDA?
I got a blog post with a list of wire. TEMCo a good name for wire is the title of the post. not hijacking you out of the thread, just pointing to relevant info. Understand too my notion of "best" wire is just that, a notion or opinion. You might find better and if you do give us all a holler back to let us know.
Maybe a bad barrel design....
So we stop buying crap shoot bad made RDAs. Companies start catching on quick. "Ah, customers no buy a these RDA. Let us send intern to ask why." ... "Intern says customer no like bad design RDA. Guess we need to design better."
Plastic doesn't dissipate heat nearly as well as metal.
*nods* Good thought & thinking there. Yet another reason I avoid plastic regulated mods and use metal mechanicals. Got one that has some plastic but it's still a semi-mech having only a mosfet next to the fire button as a safety.
Or just use a higher ohm cooler build.
Shhh, hush both of you. We don't want the secret formula running loose and falling into the wrong hands. The adversity though is ... which hands are the wrong hands?
