Prolly not long, but the cost of a drone carry the payload would be ridiculous.
The cost of a plane is ridiculous.
And if it is smaller just make a few more trips?
would land beside the nurse tank for refill, no runway needed.

Hmmmm... looks like there's a shitload of people here, but no one has said anything for a couple hours.

Been a tough day, so I'm just here long enough to say "hi" and "good night."

ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

As of 08:30 this morning, the weather forecast was "mostly cloudy, 10% chance of rain" and that was for all day. By 09:00, the lightning and thunder told us they missed something. The thunderstorms and rain continued until about 10:30, then we actually saw a ray of sunshine and a triple rainbow. We checked the forecast again and, after the fact, they said we might have occasional thunderstorms in the area with a 60% chance of rain. By 12:30, we had severe thunderstorms with heavy rain and some hail and it hasn't stopped since. It is now 9:00 PM and the thunder is still rolling out there and we have had several inches of rain today with standing water everywhere. The high temp was 84, but now has dropped to 58. The relative humidity is 56% inside the house and 100% outside. Now let's see, the bozos started this day with only a 10% chance of rain? Why are they so fucking stupid that all their damn modern equipment and computers missed all these severe thunderstorms? Do today's weather forecasters truly live with their heads up their asses?

P.S. I forgot to add that we lost electricity three times so far today. Luckily it only stayed out a few seconds each time, but that lightning has been chewing up the power poles... Well, a few seconds is long enough to lose the TV signal (takes about 10 minutes to come back on) and Lannie had to reset all the damn clocks in the house.

Today, I got a late birthday present from Phillip when he took me to get my nails done, and then to dinner. Sorry, didn't get a picture of dinner.

Was beautiful here today, the extreme heat left, was about 100F I think, which felt fantastic with some high cirrus clouds blocking about 50% of the sun. Damn garden is loving it too, been eating cherry tomatoes from my one tomato plant for a couple days now. The damn tomato plant is about 5 ft tall. I still haven't added any sunscreen to help, but everything seems to be doing great. Not sure when the melons will be ripe, I guess their honeydews. The sink appearance hasn't changed since they are full size now, so honeydews they are. There are several other melon plants growing, but the melons are only the size of grapes, no idea what they might be.

Dale, I see from your quote above that you missed the P.S. I added to that note about losing electricity three times (so far). The thunder is still rolling very loud (and I am in the basement at the moment) and the TV just went out because the satellite signal is being blocked,

That aside, sounds like you are reaping the benefits of the garden without having to apply labor. Our tomatoes are growing like weeds and with all this rain, at least we don't have to go out and water them. :)

A a disadvantage to digital.
I like the quasi analog wall clocks that take 1 AA cell and go tic toc.
Of course the microwave, stove, etc....
That really is what I was talking about... stove, microwave, coffee pot... The wall clock is an analog AA. Oh, yeah, I have a digital here in the computer room, but I so rarely look at it that I forget to reset... the correct time is always on the computer,

Well Rich, at least it's not snowing in June, which is the case for some high mountain communities.

Just took a glance at the future weather forecast, it has to be about 10 degrees below normal. I can only hope the global cooling lasts through the summer.

I'm sure that is what happened.

And thank gawd for that.

And then there the Olympic peninsula in Washington state that is normally a rain forest and is having severe drought right now. If it is not one extreme, it is another.

How much did you downsize the garden due to poor weather....20-30%---50%?

While I am a tad worried for your inability to get away from working yourself to death, I will be looking forward to tasting that cacao, as will the resident chocoholic wifey person too. :D

It was manufactured exceptionally well, when it arrived the temp was 108, the chocolate was as hard as it would be at 75 degrees. I could bend it, but nothing even can close to melting.

That's truly amazing. We keep some dark 60% cacao on hand and it gets real soft at 75 and smooshy above 85, which is when I move it to the fridge.

OMG, I laid awake until nearly midnight, couldn't sleep for the NOISE! It sounded like two fully loaded semi trucks hitting head-on at 100mph. It just went on, and on, and on, and on. I feel like a total zombie this morning due to lack of sleep. At least the storm FINALLY left us, presumably somewhere around midnight. Either that, or I just passed out from exhaustion. In any case, it's sunny and breezy out this morning, so the wind should dry out any excess surface water lying around. I just looked at the weather history to see if they had a rainfall amount, but it's for Faith, and they must have missed the worst of these storms because it only listed them as getting .11 inches (POINT 11) yesterday.

And now our littlest terrorist, Ewok, has discovered the kitchen counters. o_O Rich and I did a deep cleaning on Chicklet's cage yesterday, so for a while, the base of it was sitting in the kitchen. It's like a big end table with short sides. Anyway, it's a small kitchen and the cage base took up most of the middle of the floor. Ewok had to see what this new thing was, so she jumped up on it, and from there, OMG, she could see there was another whole world UP THERE with lots of new things to investigate and play with. She was driving me nuts! I hit her with a strong spray from the "bad kitty squirt bottle" time after time, but she'd get right back up there, and now, even though the base is back under Chicklet's cage in the living room, she's figured out some way to get up to the counters. She seems too little to be able to jump straight up, but maybe she's using some of the other furniture and making giant leaps for kittenkind. So until (and IF) she gets bored with whatever is up there, we have another counter-monster in the house. I just heard clinking a few minutes ago, and when I went up to see what it was (gee, I couldn't guess...), I found her up there batting silverware around and knocking glasses over. I hadn't put away last night's washed dishes yet.

I love kittens, I really do, but God, they make me so tired...

apparently those laser hair growing things are a thing.
Saw on site where they were rating the top 6 laser your hair thingys.
The Nationwide test link they had on their site proving that they worked.
Au contrare, I read the test results and it only spoke of looking at several tests of the device and said the tests were poorly done and made no mention of the laser head devices actually working.
They claim FDA approval, but I expect that is just that they do not harm you not that they actually work.

Until a TV commercial today I did not know they existed...
And all are horribly expensive considering how cheap LED's are.
Red LED's are about .01 each in 100 lots.
I recently bought 10 laser Leds with colimator lenses for under $2.
