Hows the weather today guys?
Well, remember my bitch the other day about the weather guessers predicting 4" of snow Sunday evening and I said it wasn't going to happen - or if it did, it likely would be twice as much? Well, it didn't happen Sunday evening. (1 point for me) And they said today was just gonna be foggy. Well, the snow started this morning and went most of the day (NOT in their forecast at all), but total accumulation was only about 2" and I think most of it will be gone by tomorrow.

Ohh slightly sunny and around 60. A nice day. But rain shows up tomorrow I think for the rest of the week around 4 inches of it they say.
Hard to "Like" that forecast....but it is what it is.

We hit 92 degrees today. I finally got done putting siding on the house. Now, I have to wait a couple days for the rain to stop before i can paint. At least it'll give me a couple days of rest and relaxation.

Thanks Andria. Yes I have and it does help some but not enough, I sometimes have to take a couple ambien 10 mg. to get some sleep and then it's iffy.

Yeah, it sure doesn't help me get to bed any sooner, because I seem to have set a dreadful habit of staying up till 3am. :D Which is fine most of the time, being a Domestic Goddess and all, but sometimes even Domestic Goddesses have to interact with the rest of the world on THEIR schedule. :D The main thing it seems to have helped is that once I do force myself to go to bed, whether early or late, if I've taken the melatonin 2-3 hrs earlier plus my usual generic dramamine and warm-milk cocoa, I don't lie there fretting, unable to sleep -- I go to sleep, so in the morning, I can wake up at whatever time is appropriate -- noon most of the time, but sometimes as early as 9 or 10.

I'm in the same boat...without some type of medication...natural of course....a nice big dubbie helps once in awhile.

Yeah that's part of the bedtime routine too, but nowadays in a Seego Vhit Reload atty. ;)

Melatonin usually works. I take 10mg.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! At first I just took the 5mg tablets, but after about a week, I found that it wasn't really effective anymore, so now I take a 5mg tablet, and depending on how I feel about an hour later, I either take another, or half of one, plus the generic dramamine.

I have to take Ambien 10 mg sometimes two of them and still have a hard time getting to sleep
When you constantly have a LOT on your plate, I can understand why it's tough to sleep.

I take Melatonin every night helps a little but not nearly enough

yeah why I also take Benadryl and Trazadone.
The benadryl also helps with my chronic sinus condition due to me being a Septal Deviate...
Well my nose anyway.
And Trazadone is supposed to help with my chronic depression. Maybe a little...
Not being able to get enough sleep is depressing.

Having a bad back and hip usually doesn't stop me
Hey guys, speaking of bad hips... I think @Jimi also has a similar problem...
I told you folks two weeks ago that I fell on ice that was invisible and landed on my left hip. Hurt like hell all day, then I used Lannie's salve on it and it felt better. Well, it is getting worse and I can't come up with a reasonable explanation. Getting to the point where it is painful to even walk unless I am pushing in (i.e., putting strong pressure on it). Any of you have any bright ideas? Did I hose the bursa sac in the joint?
