I'm afraid to freakin' ask about the latest delivery-times for FT, now.. Been over a year since I bothered, but the local joints refuse to goddamned carry replacement glass for the Kylin mini v2.

The last couple of orders I've had with FT have been fine - 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. I had been paying a little extra for the USPS Expedited Shipping, but the last several orders, I haven't bothered with that, just used their free shipping, and I can't tell much difference.

Just remember that their New Year break is coming up - if you're going to place an order, you might want to go ahead and do it.

If you want to use Paypal, you have to buy a gift certificate and then use the GC to pay for your order.

Can't say I never will again but it would have to be pretty damn desperate. So far I've yet to find myself that desperate. Once I got away from slowtech and started using 3fvape, sourcemore, vapesourcing, they all have shipped faster for me than ft.

Insofar as any of my past experience, there has never been any adult signature required. This may be changing up though due to our own laws. Cannot tell you affirmative either way currently, apologies. Seems our goober-mint has a hard on for ending vaping after the vaping industry took 2+ Billion from the tobacco industry.

None of the Shipping Companies require a Signature due to the Pandemic. Amazon says to give the driver 6 feet for safety.

I was going to place another order this morning, but now I don't think I will. So f'n stupid. I didn't request nondescript shipping because I figured just "Wire" wouldn't be a problem.

I've ordered regular round wire from them, but up till now I've always bought Wotofo and Vandy Vape pre-wrapped wire. If this shipment gets seized, I'll go with Wire Optim for sure. Does seem like the first spool of Clapton wire I got was a Lightning Vapes spool from e-Bay. Came with a pack of Cotton Bacon back then for about $6. Those days are long gone.

Yea I hear ya. That's how I got my pack of cb v2 with a spool of wire from lightning off ebay. And not sure whatever happened to kbee wire, they've all but dried up. I don't know how lv/wire optim's premade spools are. I've only used their regular wire. Seems decent. Lots of things are long gone.

Checked a handful of reviewers, smm, grimm, djlsbvapes, vaping with vic. Pod this and pod that. Not blaming the reviewers since they can only review what's out there. About the only thing I could see was a yihi g class v2, looks almost identical to the v1. Has clamshell doors on it like the old isticks which is nice. Still just 18650. Apparently an updated chip where it polls ambient temp and adjusts tc baselines, improved 'boost' to only apply to initial puffs so subsequent puffs aren't so intense once the coil's warmed up. Ridiculous initial pricetag though. Seeing a lot of places around $170. Not sure why they feel a rehash of a 5-6yr old mod is worth 40% more than a dna 250c but who knows. And in all that time their solution to the parasitic drain was to auto-off the mod after like 30min. lol.

I haven't even looked around that much lately, but what looking I have done, I know there hasn't been anything that struck me enough to want to pay the prices that places are charging now, not to even mention that they'll tack on another $20 for shipping. I'm glad I did my shopping when I did. About the only thing I might spring for as far as mods go would be a Centaurus BF, and I'm not dying for that.

Seems like I did see that new Yihi mod, and every one of those I've had has ended up being a PITA. Vesta died, two Modefined Lyras died, and now I couldn't tell you where my VSticking mod even is. And not a one of them have I been able to set up to reliably vape TC without having to fuck around with it constantly. Exactly what I need in my life is an irascible gizmo to torment me.

OMFG I can hardly wait ... or, actually, I'm sure I will, a really long long time before co in China manages to ship it to me, and then I'll insert a battery and fire it up! And then, I'll throw it on a shelf with other Yihis and never use it again. But it was purchased and collected! Therefore it existed and had meaning.

Meant to say....if it's clamshell doors that makes ya happy, you'd be better off with an eLeaf iStick Rim C. It won't aggravate you to damn death.

I gave mine to my sister - and now wish I'd kept it. Tiny mod, but worked great, looked good, nicely portable, and no fucking around.

I opened a support ticket right after the payment, and AFTER mailing me the ordered items were shipped their support team sent a reply.
She said their card agent only charged the payment in CNY, and also we have to pay the extra currency exchange fee(1~10%).
For me, they charged 5~6% as extra exchange fee.

So you should be careful for using 3F because they will cost us more than PayPal now.

I like them in general over the spring loaded bottom doors. My first mod had them, the istick tc100w. They were a lot easier on and off than the rim c (my mom has one). I actually liked the look of the istick 60w, just sad it was single battery and only 60w. I kind of miss the older mods. They seemed a lot more compact and had just a little weight to them. Probably just cast metal and not really durable but they felt better than some of the newer ones which keep getting chunkier and more plasticy. The isticks, kanger mods, evic vt, coolfire 3 and stuff like that.

I mean maybe not because it's the g class but if it's like other yihi mods who knows. It may show for cheap in a few months. That's when I grabbed my first yihi mod, the eclipse. When it came out it was like $90-95. Several months later I caught it on sale for around $26. Then managed to snatch up a few of the trantors and a couple more eclipses during a closeout sale for $10-15/ea. I don't think the g class ever dropped that low though. Just seems a hard intro price when several dna250c mods are floating around on sale from $90-110.

Ok so the wire I ordered from FT, that left FT labeled as "Atomizer," has been in LA since 4/11. According to 17track, it was scanned in at Los Angeles on 4/11, 4/12, and 4/13. Nothing since 4/13.

I will be amazed if that package ever makes it to my house.

I can't read the text description that's on the shipping label of the Kayfun, so that one might be another miracle, if it ever gets delivered. I don't know why I even keep trying this. I did remember to request "discreet shipping" on the Kayfun, so we'll see if that makes any difference.

Got a nice e-mail from FT saying that it would be reshipped as soon as it hits the ground in HK, and they're putting a 10% discount into a gift certificate for my trouble. I thought that was decent of them, as all the purchases I've made since the shipping ban, I knew there was a risk that this would happen, and decided the gamble was on me.

Have a Centaurus BF kit on the way, too. Hope that one makes it through.

That finish is for real. I over tightened the deck on mine once and had to use pliers to get it off. I gasped when it slipped in the jaws, but unless you really look and get the light just right, steel pliers didn't even phase it. I'm sure I could polish out the practically undetectable...

Yeah, probably. I can usually read the picture of the FT package, but this one was just too blurry so I don't know what kind of description they put on it. I did request "Discreet Shipping," but apparently that doesn't always work.

I like the DotMission bridge in my OhmAIO so much, I know it's not going back in the DotAIO!

I hope that the package that showed up in Informed Delivery this morning is this DotMOBB bridge. China Post's tracking stalled out on July 1 with the package's arrival at JFK. The Informed Delivery package is in Queens, so I'm taking that as a good sign.

Since the one package containing my Taifun GX (clone) got sent back to Hong Kong, I'm paranoid to even order anything. But for me it's either order from China or go without - like I've said, I'm not paying these ridiculous shipping and "adult signature" charges that almost all the stores in the US hit us with now, at least not when the thing I've ordered costs less than $40. If it was an expensive mod or something, I'd likely just pay the stateside shipping.
