What would that accomplish? Are you thinking of taking out the 2 that are in there and replacing them with regular 1860's? That would be kinda awesome! How would you go about doing that? You got links or a video? Please expand. I'm totally game!
Yea knocking the ring off was night and day. Pretty easy too and completely reversible. YouTube version showed a punch and a vise which I thing there is too much room for error to mess your tank up. I found a socket the base would slide into and then used a wood dowel to knock the base apart. Ring, ball, and spring went into a crack baggy in case I wanted to reverse it. And I agree 70:30 is a great mix for a good wicking tank.
I found a good b&m here in Lynchburg, Virginia, and bought the subbox. Problem solved.

I saw the black on black tank the other day from a co-worker was quite impressed for kanger. Was looking to get into temp control myself. Same co-worker brought an IPv4 in today. Was no where near as bulky as I thought it would be. The all black one was very sleek.

Recently got into really building my own coils (the bf normally does the intricate stuff but his arthritis is rearing a head...at 30) so far I'm not very good. Details and patience aren't my thing- but a girl HAS TO VAPE!! Running twisted 24g duals right now in my mutation v4, relatively happy. Got some native wicks-going to give it a few weeks. Nothing else exciting around these parts. Sorry I dipped out-I'm back now!

I don't know anything about batteries, so here are my questions:
I bought a Sony VTC4 18650 for my new Kbox mini. That's a good battery, right? I'm heading out tomorrow to buy a 2nd battery and a charger so I always have a battery charged and ready to go - can I use any type of battery charger, or is there a particular type of charger I need?

Vtc4 batteries are great for subohming or for the high drain box mods. You would probably enjoy the Samsung 25R or the LG batteries even more in a kbox because you won't be exceeding the amp limit of them and they will go further per charge. I have both and I can run 40watts on a .3 coil and go all day on a 25R battery or swap batteries mid day using the VTC4's. I also saw in a vapor joes deal email you can get 2 Samsung 25Rs for $9.99 right now.

Vtc4 are one of the safest and arguably the best battery on the market but are hard to find authentic versions so many sale clones its not funny but if you got real ones they are safe to use ... I find they don't hold a charge as good as other brands though like I love my HE4 I got 2 for 11.99 I bought two packs of them and I only have used one pack cause they last me from 6am to 11pm then I charge them and ready to go again the next day with the vtc4 I get 6am - 6pm on 2 batteries which isn't bad at all
As for chargers xtar is the leading brand but expensive efest makes some nice charges and more afforable but big thing you want is
Auto shut down when done charging so you don't over charge 99.9% of chargers will do that now a days
Reverse polarity protection
Option of charge rate .5-1amp or a .5-2amp is most common so at night you can run a slow .5 a charge but you can crank it to 1or2 amp for fast charge
2-4 bays depending on how many batts you got 2-4 batt a 2 bay is fine 4-10 batt you need a 4 bay trust me

No its better to not drain them dead but most regulated boxes only drain batteries to about 3.3-3.5v I'd I'm under 75%-50% and I have fresh batteries I normally swap them out

Oh yes, I'll buy online when I get home this weekend. But Sunday I was away from home with a dead istick, no backup, and I hadn't had nicotine in 12 hours. So I paid the price at a b&m: $85 for the Kbox sub mini kit and $18.50 for the battery. I looked over the shop's other stock while I was there - it was all top dollar of course, but the employee was knowledgable and that's worth a lot.

Instructions:
.Peel off old wrap save plastic disc
.Insert battery and disc in new wrap
.Get even spacing on either end
.Use heat gun,hair dryer,lighter to heat
.Shrink wrap till even and smooth
.Label so you know what it is
Anyway I got it all packed up and was about to ask RZA who to send it to and remembered "hey I'm an admin I should know this"
So regardless I'll catch up with them after work tomorrow and get the box moving so they can enjoy all the goodies

They are preety cool easy to use cut really nice too I find them to be fast to cause you just pick them up and squeeze them to snip off the cotton ends

Yeah, I was pretty twitchy by the time I got to that vape shop! They had a nice tasting station set up, so that was the first thing I did when I walked in LOL.

At first it was mainly because of my son now being home from school, and me trying to give my attention to him and my daughter. When I did have time to jump on the computer, I mainly read everyone else's posts, did my coordinating of both PIF boxes, and responded here and there as I felt necessary. Now the past couple weeks I've been having some complications with my ongoing health issues, spent a weekend in the hospital after an emergency surgery for some abscesses in my intestinal tract, and now I'm having some more problems. The JP drains they put in to help drain the abscesses have stopped draining and that isn't good at all, and they're getting larger now. I'm going to see the surgeon today, so we'll see what she says we need to do to get this shit under control. I'm preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best. Anyway, I'll be posting as I can...if anyone needs me, shoot me a PM or tag me. Thanks for your understanding. I'm going to have @Geauxst coordinating this box from this point forward for a little while. So if there's any questions about the box, he can help you too. Alright, hope everyone has a good day!

It's not fun at all, and her telling me the exact number of days was actually kind of depressing. I don't really care if you want to switch it up, but I guess we should make sure everyone else is okay with that too though, unless you already have sent it to @dodyhearts in which case, everyone will just have to understand it was a mistake, and if it's done already, well we can't really do anything about it. Either way, you can work it out I'm sure.
You have to keep your eye out for either a new box to start or an opening to come up in one of the others. Right now, both boxes 5.1 and 6 are full, I don't know about any of the others. When we start the boxes, we have an open registration period, then once the list is full it runs with that list...it takes quite awhile to make it through the list, anywhere from 4 to 6 months, then usually we do a second round with the same list, a couple might drop out, or we might add a couple, but we won't know until the first round ends.

Just buy 25Rs... The vct4 is only a 2100 mah battery. The vct5 is 2500 mah like the Samsung 25R. But the 25Rs voltage output drops off much later, during it's use, than the Sony's. Meaning you'll get the full amperage out of the battery during it's usage cycle for longer.
