That’s beautiful. Where is it in Belgium?

Thanks. I was standing in the bathtub while leaning out through the open window when I took this shot so those rooftops you see are my (back) neighbours. It's a sunrise in early February last year, shot with my Huawei P30 Pro "Breathing Crystal" smartphone with the default camera app set to Pro.

Ollie looks wiser than many people I know mate.

Another Butterfly. At least they take my mind off things for a bit. And a geko that feeds at our front window at night.

I know that it is a butterfly, not a moth. But I know those as Cabbage Moths. They devour veggie gardens. Lay oval yellow eggs on underside of leaves, the grubs eat lots.

There is a bunch of organic pesticides which are just active bacteria that targets them.

:D Yep 100% right on the cabage butterflies. But you know, that from when we had the bushfires here, we never saw 1 type of any butterflies here where I am for months. None. No flies, butterflies, lizards, echidnas, many native birds hardly anything other than roos and wallabies. We had no fires closer than 40ks away but were covered in smoke for 3 months. Our wildlife totally shut down. Just now in the past week or two are seeing them all again. Actually heard some kookaburas the other day which normally we often hear. So even seeing the cabbage ones now, never thought I'd be happy to, has been nice as strange as it seems. It has been like everything exited stage right for months. There is even some ducks in the dam, an old gold miner diggers dam right next to our place.
Those fires and heavy smoke sent everything here away or into unexpected hibernation for months. Now they are out, its us going into hibernation. Strange times mate.
You and your mum stay safe Dogman, take care mate.
Our welcome back friends the ducks. We are staying away from people because of our cold but this dam is right next door to us and we go near nobody to get to it.

I will do my best to do so, you too and I extend that everyone else here.
You all are a very kind and respectful group, or mob as we refer to here in Oz.
Two very big thumbs up to you all. Not a double thumbs up that I'd like to give X 100 but the best emojis here I can show to how nice, kind and respectful you all are to each other and everyone.

We are a great bunch of people here. It’s ironic because on the other vape forum they say how nasty we are etc, so I almost didn’t join. Everyone here is on their best behavior without being phony or uptight. It’s great and I love everyone here too, mate.

Edit : I include you and myself in this great bunch of people!! Lol

Well, you had good intentions, at least. Eventually I’ll get one from you. They’re so cute!

Yesterday while walking the doggies...

It was pretty cool. The wolf spider was still moving it's legs. Wish I could post the video of the ant pulling/dragging the spider.

Hi, im guessing thats a decent sized ant there. Do they bite or sting like some of ours do?

Hey, Smigo
Yes, the fire ant bites than stings, injecting toxins into their prey. Nasty little critters.

I've heard of those and think that there has been some found in one of our other states. None of them here although we do have plenty of our evil Aussie ones here which do the same. Had a few hit me over the years. Thank goodness theyre not as big as rats or bigger I say. :)

Not today's photo. Just for reference. I've posted this beach often, outside lockdown I walk there multiple times a week.

They found a dead newborn baby there yesterday. Umbilical cord still attached so tiny.

They think that someone dumped it there? That’s horrible.

Couple of birds in our front yard.
A Magpie. They come and sit in that tree every day. This one is a very young born last spring.

A Top Notch Pigeon. They are supposedly delicious eating, but a protected species. An Aboriginal friend though, they are allowed to do so, is the one who told me how nice they are.
