I'm loving my Goon as well ray BUT does that bugger ever heat up! Taste and clouds for days though. Just hard to chain vaoe without burning your lips.

I have my Dotmod Petri on top of my IPV5. You know the 'finest RDA available'. It is pretty darn good ...

I havent had that issue yet, what material did you get yours in? Im not sure I would say the Petri is the finest but it definitely ranks up on the list, its definitely got a following though.

Thats right, could be the reason? Even with all of the builds Ive had in the Brass version its gotten hot but you could still grab it without having burns, I also barely put my lips on the tips...I learned the hard way with a few RDA's in the past...like the derringer and bambino

My coils tend to heat up real fast ... I admit that. I also am very gentle putting my lips to the drip tip, lol. Having used many a series mod I learned the hard way. The worst was the time I forgot to put the top cap back on. Doh. I still cannot believe I did that once. Over the years I have burnt myself a handful of times. Hot juice from over dripping usually. The last year I've been burn free~! At least I've become more careful lately.

LMK about that Mason ... I have a few regulated mods I want to trade away actually. LMK about the Point Blank too. I almost pullerd the trigger on that (pun intended) but got an Underground instead which NEVER leaves the house. I am now so much a series guy. I want to get the piglet too. I would trade a lot for a piglet. I got a conspiracy 2puffs in mail ... way overpriced but meh ... bragging rights I guess.

My goon hasn't even gotten close to warm yet. What are you running it on? What wattage?

Alien fused claptons coils dual at .13 aproximately at anywhere from 65-100 watts. I started at 100w and the taste and clouds were sensational but the atty got way to hot. So I've now settled at around 70+w but it still gets hot.

Hey what do you think about the laisimo 200 watt i think is Ls2 with the screen display????

Sent from my TM785M3
Is like 50 bucks at 101 vape I've been thinking about it for a while
I have one and its basically a snow wolf...but I feel the wattage is off on mine but Im pretty sure its like that on all of them...I feel its weaker then it should be but Ive been using the Hohm Wrecker G2 and it makes all other mods feel that way....
I have edited their software so its less buggy and wont hard brick the devices and have made custom papers and more for it...its a nice device and well worth $50, I got mine for $60-70 I think...

Like I said its not a bad move, its a great mod...Im just used to the G2 and how much hotter and more real the wattage feels with it, dont let that stop you from picking it up....I would pick up another G2 over a DNA200...but thats just me.

RX200 about 85-95w

You must know by now it is not twatts alone that gets an atty hot. First your 85 watts on an RX200 is not the same as 85 watts on a G2 for instance. But of most importance is the builds we use. I use a .13 build on the atty with wire that heats up fast. The mod itself tends to get warm.

Actually closer to 20 amps as it does not really stay at 8.4 volts for more than ten minutes. Average amps are around 17-18 amps drain. When the batteries are fresh I do not chain vape it. I'm careful - I use LGs, Samsungs and Sonys only. That said I would not recommend anyone trying it unless they really are sensitive to mech mods. I also find I ned to use cotton candy to wick - it does not burn as quickly as cotton bacon. All that said evryone has their own style. I also vape my other ss Cricket with an Aeronaut at .86 ohm.

I generally stick to mech mods. But I'm going tomorrow for an eye operation and a friend kindly gifted me a new set up to help me feel nbetter. He also knows I'm now broke for months and months. No new attys or mods for me. Sigh. After both eyes are done I'll have spent 4000 dollars but I cannot see now - I have to have the operations. One tomorrow on the right eye and the left eye a week later.

This has been my dream set up for the past week. Finally got a homemade box (fully mech) down the smallest size I possibly could made entirely out of African padauk wood (so sturdy yet so pretty) and with a speckled agate stone button :), and with a .35 staggered fused Clapton in my NaRDA clone I just couldn't be happier :)

Anybody else out there using the NaRDA? I haven't touched any of my other toppers since I received this a couple months back, it satisfies my every need just perfectly!

I'm currently making a small batch (3-4) for sale if anyone's interested, especially anyone in Canada, just pm me for details. Prices will range from 100-140 depending on stone and wood materials used
