Danke, I'll give that a try, one difference between authentic and clone is the clone has a little "pin" placed on top of the connection area, where the authentic is flat (from what I saw), we'll see if I can get things to balance out better, didn't want to mess with it too much, finally got the batteries all balancing right
Thats odd...I wonder why they would add a pin...
Tightne the batteries like lugs on a car...bit by bit on all three until they are snug, dont do one at a time!!

Traveled out of town to visit the family this last weekend and while I was there picked up a Dos Equis clone as part of a trade deal. Thought it was pretty cool, wished I could find a real one. Then I went and checked out some shops in the area and found this

Yup, just can't help but think that the pin was making it tilt in some way. I ended up adding pads on that top panel to counter that. Between polishing and the pads I got it to balance though. Giving the mod in first thing a try with one of my safer builds, if it works out the TM2s going back on.

Keeps saying file is too big for the server when I try to post a pic...wtf!?
max upload is 2mb. Most of us use an image hosting site like photobucket and then cut and past the photo

How do you like those Cubis tanks? Love them in theory but curious how well they actually work (really leakproof?)

They were just ok.. I really loved the design and hoped for the best. they were kinda crappy with flavor and the coils only lasted about three days and the vapor production was just ok with the .5 coils.. But let me tell you I just bought the new Notch coils for them and it breathed so much life into the cubis tank they have become my main tanks as of right now. the flavor is amazing with the notch coils.. the vapor production is triple of what it used to be as well as the air flow. and I am on my third day now and don't see any slow down they still vape like new coils. So with the .5 coil it is just ok with decent vapor production and just ok flavor. But with the new notch coils these tanks are great. a perfect warm favorable vape with really good vapor production.. the only question is how long the coils will last so far they are going strong. And yes they are leak proof that is why i wanted to love them so much in the beginning.. they just don't leak.. and they have seen pressure changes without any leaking

I'll wait on the Theorem ... but I really will be vaping my NC, LE80 and Hannya mods mostly out of the house. In the house it is the Lucifer.I rarely use any tank. I'm an RDA guy ... cannot get past it. Wife has taken all my old tanks ...

I have the Boreas --- great RTA. Still prefer my RDAs. Thing is I like to change up my juice a lot. I generally carry three unicorns to work. So send me your extra RDAs Ray. It's a shame not to use them no? ;);):vapemail:

Squonking Heaven :D

how does the dripbox compare? I kind of want to try the squonk-life, but dont want to shell out $200+ if I dont really dig it, the dripbox seems like it would be a good tester

I bought the dripbox as a beater mod. The supplied atty is junk but the mod itself I rate a 7 out of 10. If you want to start bottom feeding with this I would recommend getting a different squonking atty for it, the supplied one is way too airy, and the air slots are too high for the supplied coils. You can rebuild the replaceable coils, but to put them where they need to be in front of the air slots would require long coil legs and long wick tails. So the mod is fine if your used to mechanicals, the atty is junk IMHO. For the price you can get 15 of these compared to the price of one of my CC's pictures above, so it is a good starting point to try squonking.

What kind of mod is this

?
GV designs "Betty" mod.. Its an older one, has the 350 sxj v1 chip in it. The new version of this mod doesnt have the step up behind the 510 connection and has the starplat chip....the rrp also went up to $485 on the newest version 8/
