I may sell it once I source a Alliance Fat Boy ;)

3F has a clone of it, though its not a 1:1 as the center post has 2 post holes instead of 4, and it costs $30. But lemme know when you wanna get rid of it, I still got that Knight mod you were wanting, Id throw that in the mix.

Granted it is a clone, but FT has one (and it has the square 8 hole center post and 4 hole T-bar included with the extras, the 2 hole center post is pre-installed).

for $30 it might be worth checking out

I was looking at them but Im worried the center post will spin or have some other issue with it...but it did catch me eye...I have a goon clone coming in today to compare with the Authentic and a new machine to corrugate some Ribbon wire

It would appear they all have squared out posts, even the swappable negative posts are squared at the bottom (if that was your only concern).

The more and more I look at this, the more I want one lol. I would have so much fun with this, I think I'm gonna get one in the very near future ;)

Let us know how the clone Goon holds up, I was thinking about one of those too.

You mean Pico? They're fucking awesome. For a single battery mod you get everything you could ask for in the smallest package imaginable. I'd be very surprised if someone were able to make it smaller.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg So I've posted my mini volt in this thread before but it's now officially my new favorite set up after a couple upgrades. I added a mini mutation and @raymo2u (you sir are a fucking wizard) made me a pair of fantastic micro claptons and the vape is just stellar. Oh and the new teleos cookies is delicious; one of the few brands / flavors that warrants the insane price tag.

So how would you build quads for this @raymo2u

tLYFMVK.jpg

Picked this up earlier today for 85 Canadian. Damn ... vape budget spent for the week on this and a large bottle of Twelve Monkeys kanzi.

I'm going to have to do something a little more special on my copper Goon. Jeez. I have NEVER had an attry that has so much room for a fancy build. I could fit dual 18 gauge in there with room to spare. Quads will fit I know Ray. I was wondering what type of coils you would use so as not to go below .1 ohm. The picture is seven wrap claptons right. But not yours?

Im sure that build measures around ..06, and its not mine...I thought you were asking on how to mount the quads, thats why I posted that picture.
I would use some 2x26KA1/38N80 Fused Claptons (7 or 8 Wraps/3mm ID) if you want to stay above .1 Ohms.

Every time you double what you had in there you cut the resistance in half again. So as raymo said 26g FCs (at his description) would be about .5Ω each, dual .25Ω, quad .125Ω. You could also do 28g FCs for less ramp up time which might become an issue with all that wire unless you really bring the wattage (be looking at ~.25Ω). Filling a more standard velocity deck with Kanthal core FCs 3mm diameter rod 24g = .25Ω, 26g=.5Ω, 28g = 1Ω or pretty close to that, just a nice little thing to help estimate without having to plug a bunch of stuff into steam-engine.

And now you got me thinking... ugh I need a day to just build but just booked my weekend. quad 30g FCs on a Noisy Cricket? I wonder?

Could also do Para-Series type coils like the Rafale X....Just a continuous FC thats double barreled

Ive wanted a IPV3-LI VR for the longest time...still a bit expensive but Ill get one eventually

They are definitely pricey for what it is and not easy to find. I hunted up and down for a black one and finally found one so I ordered it right away. Well they either fucked up or pulled a bait and switch because I ended up with the silver one in a black ones box. Truth be told, I'm kinda happy they fucked up, I like the silver. Either way, it's a beast and I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger.

The VR is even harder to find, I only know of one place that even have them in stock anymore...but for $95 I dont think its worth it, maybe if it fired below .1 Ohm..

Oh yeah, the VR is really tough to find. I love the looks of the black on black with the carbon fiber and was on the hunt for one on the day I got mine.

That is the Hugo boxer. Chinese. But it vapes great and is 45 dollars with free shipping. It has TC NI, TI, SS and TCR. It has mech mode as well. No rattles. But it is not upgradeable. Some find the button a bit mushy. I really like the size of the buttons. Screen is very bright and clean. If I lost it or dropped it I would get another. It is great for taking to work or the walking the dog, etc. It is heavy. It is not as pocket friendly as a single bat mod like the pico but for a dual it is pretty damn small.
