Raymo2u wins!
It does have a kayfun looking deck though.

See the terminal screws? And the litttle channel deal it sits in?
What they should have done was make a goon clamp in place of all that.
The chamber is very large to accommodate the 19.8mm dual coil deck so the single needs crazy builds to get a nice warm vape from.
Other than that and the drip tip, it's the best bottom coil RTA I've found. You can fit some big builds in it.
Next to a Griffin 25:

I've had 2 people ask what RDAs I'm using this week alone. I only do tanks. Lol.

Forgot to post this hunk of shit here:

I don't know why I can't get any spacing method to work.
Best so far...clapton half a wire and stretch the clapton.
I can't find the right clothes pin to do what I want.

If you get a Cthulhu v3 just be aware, you really have to fill the deck to get it to perform.
22/32 or 30 was my favorite clapton for it.

The only thing a hate about RTAs is people want capacity out of a big tank. No one cares about the deck. And the people that build them pander to the people that can't wick with juice flow control and by leaving big gaps between the glass and deck.
That's what it takes to get good reviews I suppose which I get but I want one where the deck size was the focus.

Edit: A post was edited making this post look tarded. Lol.

There's only a few good tanks ever made imo. If you stuff like flavor and coils that is.

I don't own these but I want them:
iJoy Combo, CoilART Azeroth (screws are too short I've heard) and the 24mm Petri (in the mail).
Griffin 25 Plus maybe...idk about it.

Ones I have and like:
Cthulhu v3 and Limitless Plus.

Cthulhu v3 was thought out better than the Limitless. The only reason I keep using the Limitless is because of the deck.
They used tiny screw heads on the bottom hole even though the top screws fit there and the threaded plastic top cap screws to a metal circle with notches and you have to turn it to adjust the airflow. 1/3 of mine stripped.

The Cthulhu however has a big deck, M3.5 screws, all metal, great machining and an optional deck.
The iJoy XL has the same size deck but looks terrible.

There's a ton of quality RTAs out there but most have a cramped deck even though they have a 25mm form factor. I just don't know why they don't utilize the space they have. They waste space with massive wicking designs that people still can't use properly. They aren't geared towards people that build...drippers are. Lol.
It's not the manufacturer's fault, it's the consumer. Most people just can't wick so they leave huge gaps between the deck and glass so bubbles don't get stuck which they wouldn't if the build wicked fast enough.

Ramble ramble...
I'm not saying most tanks are garbage, I just can't get enough coil in them to get dripper performance.

What wires did you use? I've still never built one. Lol.
I can't figure out what combination of claptons/round/ribbon to use.

If you pull the ribbon till it stretches and use the drill to straighten your wire you can get the wires closer/tighter when you twist them.

I can't actually see it very well but there's some free advice any way! Lol.

Thanks for the advice..thats when you twist the wire till it breaks with the drill....or that's what I have seen done .... never done it myself but I'll try it next time and I didn't stretch the ribbon either..... didn't know you could....the shitty phone camera doesn't do details to well. That's the best out of like 9 pictures

To stretch the ribbon pull a length off the spool but don't cut it yet. Use toothless pliers (teeth break ribbon) to pull the ribbon till you feel it stretch just a little. Then cut it where you like.
That's how you get it to cooperate when you stack it for staple coils.

And for round wire you're right but it doesn't need to break. 20 rotations or so should do about 2 feet of wire.

I feel you on the camera, I'm in the same boat. I've gotten pretty good at making it work though.

Hhhmmmm definitely going try to stretch the ribbon but what I have is pretty thin..we shall see how it turns out..... thanks again for the helpful hints.

All ribbon is thin I think. I use 0.4mmx0.1mm for most stuff. You'll feel it stretch. It's perfect afterwards.

Just hold onto the end of the wire when you release the pliers you can possibly mess the wire up when it springs back. Sometimes I had wavy wire not sure how it happened. Probably twisted it too much.

Yes! That's how I messed up my first tsuka attempt. I didn't even make it to the wrapping part!

Had the house to myself so played a bit. Still practicing my staggertons. I can't seem to get them perfect. Slowly but surely I guess.

And my first polished and I guess extension(?) build.

Nice! I've been wanting to try staggered builds. Do you use a loop or do you run the wire parallel and then undo one of them when spacing?

I use a loop for both round Wire and even ribbon. I don't like wasting the wire so I didn't want to do the latter one

Looks awesome and by all means much more talent than what I have though if you wanted any suggestions, this may be coming from some sort of OCD, the "extenstions" could be wrapped opposite on one side of the coil to create a symmetrical coil. Not sure if that can be understood or not.

I actually thought about that after installing it but said Fuck it. Haha I wanted to install and try the staggertons I made

LOL. Do you have any fire shots of the polished coils? Curious on how the whole thing heats.

Unfortunately no. There's something about extensions that I don't know or understand yet. Apparently there are vids about it. I just made this on a whim because I really wanted to make the stainless color up but I couldn't glow them evenly. Threw them out once the one coil already lost its color.

Fml. I wish I took a photo of that coil.

My thoughts exactly! Haha there are other methods to space stagger them too. @raymo2u uses a spool tamer and I might try that too.

I love the goon. Really fun to build in and I'm enjoying the flavor. It sucks though because my black goon already has specks of the bare metal I think.

My Wife bought me the Black Goon a while back. The edges on it are showing metal on it, but it looked Sick when it was brand new.

Thanks! I've only been building for a few months and am still getting the basics of it down.
Just don't limit yourself and keep building. I've only started this April (and it actually sounds pretty long already I just realized haha) but talking to others definitely helps a lot. Wouldn't be here if it weren't for @raymo2u haha

Exactly,, I saw the builds in this thread and some of the feedback on builds and it encouraged me to join. Not many people build where I live and I figured I could learn some things here.

Haven't been doing it long myself either but it's like wine it gets better with time ....the more ya build the better ya get.....and trust me not every coil is going to be perfect but learn from it and on to the next.

For sure, I've learned a lot from trial and error. Nobody to learn from really.. Here's a few more builds I've done recently..

Builds and installs look pretty damn flawless, if you went through trial and error to get this far you may not need to be taught anything...just more experimenting is needed ;)

Im glad to see more and more people joining this thread and posting their work, Id like to thank you all for sharing your creativity and building styles.

KidneyPuncher sent over 2 spools of wire of my choice and asked me to do a build using only those 2 wires. I chose .4R N80 and 38g 316L wire...this is one design I thought to use, all #handspaced.

Nice one Ray, when you say you hand spaced, how do you mean, do you mean you spun the ribbon's in a hand vice or?
