dual coil paralel build clocking in at .24 ohms. Something different from my regular coils i did. Using the sapor RDA on eleaf pico.
Won't be able to bang it out until Friday. Work sucks.
Process is, twist your 26g normally. Till it breaks, Yada yada. Then put it back in the drill and run your small wire in the grooves between the 26g

Two builds I did. First is a staged alien coil 3x26gn80/38gn80 staged with 24gka1 at .14 ohms iirc. Second is interlocking fralien 2x28gka1/6x.4ka1/38gn80 at .13 ohms.
I don't know what happened but I can't seem to make my blues and purple appear all of a sudden.

Yep! Been out of the game for awhile and forgot about that. Just remembered how to make it. It's no staggered Clapton or framed staple. But a good basic build none the less

Comes out to 0.20ohms and it seams vape straight up. Twisted kanthal coils.
wanted to use this setup in a mech but it's 20amp draw don't want to ruin the life of my brand new 25rs. Yes that is a copper center post, hits a LOT Harder.

As long as they arent getting over 45°C/113°F then no long term damage is occurring, just make sure to pay attention to them and see if they are getting warm or not. 25R's Constant Discharge is 20a so your not flexxing them at all...theres much more to batteries then people believe. Ive stopped looking at resistance and more towards overall coil mass. The larger thicker and more dense a coil is the more it strains the cell, a .06 Staggerton will be much harder on a cell then a .06 6 wrap of 22g 316L as it takes more energy and time for the Staggerton to ramp up. Most cells could push more then twice there limit without damage if its for a short period of time (2-3 seconds) but the damage occurs when its over stressed and done repeatedly for longer periods of time and the damage accumulates
Ive had 25R's last over a year and consistently abused...like .08 on a tube abuse...as long as you let them cool down when they get warm and before and after charging they will last...keep them cool and you'll have happy cells

I put another one of the bigger coils i got from Raymo in a Goon. Flavor is great heats evenly. Came out to .1.

I don't think I've ever gotten any of my batteries that hot except once when I built a couple mtg2 DD flashlights. I've been vaping on the doge v2 with the 0.2 coils with a single 18650 mech since you posted this and not an issue!

On a single 18650 I wouldnt advise going lower then .1 for a ADV, but if your being aware then you shouldn't have much of a issue going lower but again Im not advertising it.
I like 3x28g/38g 316L Aliens 5 Wrap/3mm ID Paralleled with 28g 316L 6 Wraps on a tube mod....its seriously one of the only vapes Ive found to be satisfying on a Tube/Single 18650 mod but the mod has to be cleaned/polished and hard hitting....preferably made of copper and with a hybrid connection..try that on a Goon with 2 holes open on a hard hitting tube

Instead of leading at a 10° angle I had to do the opposite. I was behind it by 10°. What the hell happened?

that can change depending on your stretching and speed,, if you over stretch then you will need to slightly follow or it wont work at all, if you understatement or stretch it perfect you can lead.That last color shot rocks.

Tip: Always use your framing wire as your inital clapton for your alien wrap

Wicking's easy. Fluff as much as you can, cut it to sit flush on the deck and just sit it on the hole.
I do this with rayon and mine are leak proof. I sleep with them on their sides.
I wish my boreas could be laid down. It will leak like crazy if it's laid down for a length of time. I have learned to close off the airflow when I pocket it. Though the strangest thing...I had wicking problems. It doesn't make sence for me to have that problem and it leak when laid down.
Though I have since switched to cotton bacon. Pretty good stuff.

Use rayon. I haven't had any leaks since using rayon and I thin it down alot in the juice channels. Plus it tastes cleaner. I had to reduce flavor and nic when I switched.
I tried rayon a while back. I probably didn't wick it right but I didn't like the taste at all. I think I was told it has to be tighter than cotton because it doesn't expand.
It has to be tight. Tight enough to bend the legs if you don't support the coil.
It's hard to use too much.
