Colouring is really easy dude. If you've got a regulated mod set it for 40w, set your coil up, scrape it before you begin heating to try work the hotspots out at this stage. Then just pulse lightly until you see the beginning of the glow then stop. It should go kind of gold - orange at this point if you haven't added too much heat and the hotspots were worked out. Then just repeat the heating process, slowly heating and then stopping at the beginning of the glow. Can do that a few times to get different ranges of colours. Hope that helps dude

Yeah i think i'm going to try from 20-30 watts trying to sort all the hotspots atleast major ones so it can glow from the center and then try with higher wattage Is there any threads in this forum that helps with photographing your coils ?

couple firsts in this one..

first time razorbacking ribbon, first time doing a proper groove fuse, umm... first time getting a coil from my imagination to in my hand without screwing up any lol

26g Razorbacked with .3x.1 framed with 28g groove fused with 40g all N80.. it's an updated version of my squonk coil (same stats Capt the 26g is space claptoned with 32g) which at present after heavy vaping all day has my battery finally below 3.8v (3.78-9) so hopefully this one performs at least as well..

I don’t think so, braiding has so many posibilities, so have to try it. And you have to remember the loops position, so when you braid with fine wire which is time consuming especially 7 loops, you can leave it and resume later

Nay, thank you though I have watched all those, they are good for those types of braids but daniel's look different - I will have to study that braiding site and learn the ins and outs (har har!) of braiding for his variation

Ha ha braiding is beyond me. My wife offered to show me how and I offered for her to braid my coils for me. Still working that angle.

Yes it’s different, actually you can do fish tail braid with cores.

It should really look a lot worse, with how many spots I messed up paraclapping, got lucky I guess
