Is that a 3 core SFC with a parabolic slammed in the middle(ish)? Nice bro
Well this wasn't what the vision was for this session. Prepped the cores for something else entirely. That didn't work out to well. Had about 3 inches left on the end so I did a quick decore to not be wasteful. Can't even see the corrugated piece of ribbon lol

Tried something a lil different today. Found a coil for the death trap 30mm that I like!
2x22g KA1, 32g SS316l, 5mm id 7.5 wraps, .4 ohms

I was going for something completely different and it wasn’t working so I just glued whatever I did have together, fused it, and wrapped it haha. I've had these same aliens in the Scottua for about 9 months now, and rewick an average of every 2 weeks
Probably put in a fresh set of coils the next time I have to change the cotton.

A few more shots of the triple interlock. It's a surprisingly decent vape. A little spitty, but I have it in the KTX so it's offset from the tip enough that it's not terrible. Sqonking it on the pulse at about 55-60 watts. It ohmed out at .17 after dry fire.

Not sure actually. I haven’t played with it as much as other rdas as I tend to make pretty big coils. But I did like simple four core aliens with 4 wraps. 5 wraps held heat a little to long for me in the little guy. I think it’s better with mellow alien waves because the super curvy aliens have more gap and spit a lot. I think you mentioned, the spit is helped with a drip tip stuck on. It seems to like simple coils I think.

This is my Coilmaster Marvin RTA's build thats been in it since it was released about 5 months ago, I dont think Ive rewicked it more than twice

Nice, clean 4 core staggered fc. 4*29g ni80/38g/38g ss316l. ID @ 5mm. Ohms at .39. Need to go for 30g cores next with 40g wrap and moooaaarrr cores

Found a hardware shop selling old tools ...these need some love perhaps a refurb strip down and repaint but they still work absolutely fine and will outlast me to hand down to my son

I love seeing such a good shot of a well used coil. Those terminal screws are getting gnarly too.
That's awsome!! I should go hit some pawn shops. I don't have a vice or a hand drill. I could also use a super high RPM corded drill for claptons. Thanks for the idea!!

Taken me a while to move back over to these, think I went too far down the rabbit hole of alien variations I forgot to get other skills up to the same standards :/ better late than never though.The video that spurred me onto going for the 4 core was one by Jewbster on YouTube. Made it look real fuckin easy so of course I had to have a go. I didn't use a straw like he does, I actually freehanded the first of the 3 core ones I did but it was slow and hard. Still just link mine up to my swivels but I will be buying some tubing to mount up for future attempts. Again thanks dude

Just a little MTL build. 2core alien, which I'm not all that impressed with. Seemed to have more flavour and vapour with the 3 smaller cores. Either way this is 2*30g ni80/40g ss316l.
Whilst doing this I did figure a way of getting wire to stay in place a little better when wrapping the finished coil. Seems to work better for the finer gauge cores. After setting up my 2 cores and fixing them into place I just burnt the core wires with a lighter, wiped them down and then fused them. Means there was less spring in the cores but I could still colour the coil up. Hope it helps.... That's is.... If it hasn't already been passed on before me lol

The jewbster video helped a lot. I was looping my staggered clapton through the swivel. I noticed he cut his and placed it together. Tried that and it helped tremendously. Staggers are going the same direction as oppose to when I was looping through the swivel

As most of you already know, I tend to use alien coils almost exclusively. I decided to veer slightly off the beaten path and try a set of parallel fused Clapton coils. This is for a single 18650 mech, so I wanted to keep the mass down. Ended up going with 2x30/40 wire, all N80. I'm glad I did, as this is a phenomenal vape!

Oh that looks delicious. And you did it with all N80 (quivers with delight). That's a phenomenally clean build I can only imagine that it must vape spectacularly. As a fralien junkie myself I have to admit that it is nice to get away from the alien wave once in a while, just to have a little bit of a different texture to your taste. The one thing I noticed is that it does seem to give the flavor more body - a fuller vape. Whether that's real or just perceived in my mind I can't say, but it's definitely working for me.
Single coil, 26g frames, .5 ribbon 6 ply, 36-38g binding - This is my go to vape that I vape 90% of the time. Everything else I build is just to show off or to ship to someone else. Once in a while I'll do a 40g framed staple, or a SSFC just to switch things up... so to be fair all I vape are different variations of the framed staple and my absolute favorite is the fralien.Good clean fraliens are a fantastic vape!! Your color is INSANE. I like to vape KP wire the most. However for some reason KP wire doesn't really seem to color that well.... or I am very dumb and cannot figure out how to do it correctly.. one of the two. I appreciate the kind words. I can't say I do anything out of the norm for colouring, I just tend to do it on a regulated mod with low wattage. Tbh I don't even wash mine atm, need to invest in an ultrasonic cleaner. The one thing I would say is it can turn out best using a dark place to fire your mod. OK so I need some input. I'm going to enter the 270 wirez buildoff in hopes to get some free wire!! Right now I have 2 builds to choose from, probably going to try to get 1 more. But at the moment it's between the clapton bianary and the one I'm posting now. I can't decide because the Binary is a little cleaner, but the Helix is a little more creative. Vote on your favorite for me please!!!!

. The hardest part is getting the both frames twisted exactly the same. Otherwise you end up skipping and/or overlapping fuses if they don't line up. Even if you use the same twisted wire for the frames ... they don't twist evenly end to end unless you twist both sides evenly, simultaneously, and with exactly the same tension throughout. Also, We don't get to choose the tier. It's sub 1k followers and 1k+ followers. Im under 1k. The original post said something about them putting you in a different tier if they think you should be there.
Clapton binary from me too. The corrugated helix looks alright but the Clapton binary was perfect, best chance of winning IMOOK so I need some input.
