Wish I was that lucky, ordered some spools from MS. They shipped that day and it stopped in MS and has sat there since the 12th. One from Ca. has sat there since before that. Those two spools i order from kingorchid came in like 3 days tho and im on the west coast so usps seems to be working quite well

Options are always nice. Im happy with just the velocity( i havent built anything i cant fit in it yet) but ill be glad to have a tank for work when my aromamizer gets hereYou have me and my wife beat Dawn but we are catching up fast. I'm not sure that is a good thing though.
what I have that hasnt been delivered yet...
I like your taste in drawer liner

You're gonna steal my plates? That's just despicable....Might stop over to rob your collection a little later tonight...mines not as engorged as yours is...
I love ft but the shipping takes so damn long!My Crius V3 and Crius V3 Clone order just popped up in NY, should be here in 2 days if it heads for the next facility and doesnt sit there...Pretty fast for a FT order (USPS Epacket), less then a week and its almost here. My last FT order took almost 4 months to arrive with Singapore Surface (Battery order).
Batteries do tend to hang around in customs a lot longer than any other good we may order from over seas. That is where my last set of Sammy's came from. Thankfully my VTC5's I found in the states at a good deal so I had those.Batteries do tend to hang around in customs a lot longer than any other good we may order from over seas. My batteries took 2 mo from gearbest coming out of sweeden

I might start ordering from liionwholesale, im almost positive they're a us based company and the prices are pretty good. Although, ft has 4 25r's for 18something...That is where my last set of Sammy's came from. Thankfully my VTC5's I found in the states at a good deal so I had those.

Thats where 90% of the batteries I have came from. Tax time I was going to buy one of the LUC6 Chargers and a 50 pack of Green 25R's on Ebay tax time, never have to buy a 18650 again afterwards. I just saw FT has a ^ wire lot now, with Ni200/SS/Ti/Kanthal and Claptons/Twisted wire. I may just get it for the TC wires as its only $14.99 for 30ft of each. They are now selling bulk 1.5lbs spools of lower gauge wire also (too bad not higher then 28g)I might start ordering from liionwholesale, im almost positive they're a us based company and the prices are pretty good. Im sure you already know but be VERY weary of ebay 18650's. Not even 100% seller ratings are safe bets. Also, ive been reading up on new battery formulations and you may wanna hold up on that bulk buy if production catches up with development especially if sodium ion batteries catch on. Some pretty interesting advances in cell technology going on right now...Thats where 90% of the batteries I have came from. I was looking at that for some extra test wire for builds. I don't remember, maybe 7 each and I got two. They have been great! What kinda deal did you get for the vtc5's? Been thinking about getting a set but they're going for about $9 a piece everywhere I've seen them

The place I order from is the same as its retail business but they dont sell in bulk for cheaper from their store, thats the only reason I buy from them off ebay...trust me I know all about ebay and counterfeits....one reason I dont bother even buying VTCs...Im sure you already know but be VERY weary of ebay 18650's. But seriously, the advancement in cell technology is catching up with demand. Thank electric cars and wearable electronics for the most part on that front... But we're looking at 2 to 10x cell capacity and faster charging without the thermal breakdown or flamable electrolytes that we have to deal with in our current li-ion cells within the next couple years hopefully. At least at that point it will drive down prices on what we're already buyingThe place I order from is the same as its retail business but they dont sell in bulk for cheaper from their store, thats the only reason I buy from them off ebay...trust me I know all about ebay and counterfeits....one reason I dont bother even buying VTCs...
Im hoping Graphene Tech hits a 18650 size, we wont have to worry about power limits for even one battery and recharging in less then a few minutes to full capacity, though it will be a lower capacity. Its safer then Li-ion and Lipo and can be formed into many different textures and shapes, more flexible then the lipo battery has been for the industry. But seriously, the advancement in cell technology is catching up with demand. Tip of the Tip of the Iceberg my friend....I have to research everything about computer/modern tech to keep up with practice and new developments, it helps in my line of business, this is just one aspect of a piece of hardware involved. Im sure your brain would overload learning about the 1200+ other hardware and software advances for the soon to be future, it can be difficult to keep up. I like vaping because its a smaller world with lighter improvements-its easier to follow even though many would think its too much but if your already accustomed to things evolving fast then its already in your programming and easier to understand.Ouch. To much info. Brain overload lol.
Thanks guys.

Agreed. I try to keep up with so many different things but when it comes to chemical compounds of batterys. That's a bit above what I can understand. I know my technical limits.Tip of the Tip of the Iceberg my friend....I have to research everything about computer/modern tech to keep up with practice and new developments, it helps in my line of business, this is just one aspect of a piece of hardware involved. The Graphene/Sulfur-Nano-tube compounds will be the start of future battery tech and Im sure it will lead to even better battery advances, the Nano-scopic world is at its beginner stage and once everyone's comfortable researching and developing in it it will be a energy race with amazing findings in its wake.Agreed. The main predicament is making mass production feasible. I too try to keep up with advancing technogy but for a more selfish reason (not sounding like a complete moron to my kids i.e. if i know more than they do i can, hopefully, retain some semblance of respect from them)... Setting the foundation for tomorrows tech today is a great start but really all i want right now is a 40a battery that'll last all day.The Graphene/Sulfur-Nano-tube compounds will be the start of future battery tech and Im sure it will lead to even better battery advances, the Nano-scopic world is at its beginner stage and once everyone's comfortable researching and developing in it it will be a energy race with amazing findings in its wake.
40a would be the lightest form if they get made (maybe a 18350 size), your looking forward into batteries that would be near 120/150a continous that can be pulsed just under 400a in our size, the battery life would be similar to a 25R/HE4 for recharging would take less time then a rebuild or rewick....The main predicament is making mass production feasible. Its more like the foundation for nanoconductors, yes? I dont believe carbon is all that great of a conductor but its stability on an atomic level is stupendousGraphene is the shit that conducts electricity better then copper/gold right?

So do you think the mini build would vape killer with .4 ribbon 28 frames and 34fuse? I can't use that thin wire (36 or smaller) due to old injurys as a kid. Some wire from tonight.
Staple wire
8x 0.5/0.1mm A1 ribbon
36gN80 fuse
Mini Framed Staple Wire
8x 0.3/0.1mm ribbon cores
28gN80 frames

It is a super conductive super capacitor, it doesnt have the same energy density but it has better discharge potential. This is how it has the ability for high amperage output, the key is to find a balance for size and capacity. Its a nano fiber, with better conducting properties then anything else in its category. I wonder how it would be with 28K or 26K Frames and 46 or 50N60 Wrap...I only have .5 Ribbon so it wont be the exact same but I WILL get it dont tomorrow and post my report.I haven't done it before, but try it out!
I had never made this specific combination of wire before either.

Dont thank me, my understanding is pedestrian. I only read briefly on graphene. Raymo is absolutely better qualified to answer these questions. Im just practicing for my kidsThank you good sir. You remind me why I love this forum

Correct me if I'm wrong because I might be, but isn't the huge deal about graphene and its high charge/ discharge abilities related to its near zero resistance in thin strips its used. I do remember reading an article on how they've made some breakthroughs on making sheets of it in reasonable quantities. It is a super conductive super capacitor, it doesnt have the same energy density but it has better discharge potential. This applies to Higher Gauge Wrapping:So i got my 33ga in today but not sure what to do first. I was thinking 2x28 fc fused with 33ga claptoned with 40ga n80. Delving back into diminishing returns, is there any benefit to claptoning with a smaller clapton?
Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk
Yes by itself it has almost nonexistent resistance, but also it would not have the properties that would be suitable for use. By itself it is like a 8 Lane fast paced highway with no stops, it cannot hold a full load of cars and the cars will have to simply keep traveling within a few moments of entering the highway..As a multi component compound the resistance would be higher, but its various property traits are increased along with traits it doesnt carry on its own. This is why a hybrid would be a better alternative to its original form and its in early stages, Im sure a derivative that will have much better all around properties will be produced and outsourced soon. With additives it becomes a Highway with full load holding capabilities that can hold the energy for extended periods without decay and can rapidly release its payload or "fill up" in minutes.Correct me if I'm wrong because I might be, but isn't the huge deal about graphene and its high charge/ discharge abilities related to its near zero resistance in thin strips its used. I feel like we've been thru this already. This is usually where the prof throws the whiteboard eraser at my head and reminds me that had i taken notes in the first place, i wouldn't have to repeatedly ask the same question...thanks, sorry and please don't throw anything at meWith smaller core wire-Its only benefit is being able to fit a FC into a smaller RT/RBA or shoot for a higher resistance if wanted
With lower gauge cores:
Lower Wattages for Same Experience
Holds and Absorbs Juice the same
No Ramp up time, No heatsink affect
Cools faster after you let off the fire button
takes up less room in chamber and post holes
Cons:
PITA to work with
Its worse then Delicate
Hard to see when showing off
Lightning vapes has 17% off code ohmsweetohmSo all this talk of ribbon made me decide to order some .4mm in this order of wire. Along with 32/22 ga nichrome and 28/34and 26ga kanthal
To bad lightening vapes didn't have 34 ga nichrome but you get what you get lol
