yeah, i had tried using 0.4 first for that very reason, but i had so much trouble stacking them that after wasting 30 feet of ribbon i gave up on it. guess i should revisit it. i find im having alot of trouble with ribbon. this is why i need to find someone close to me to hang out and do builds with. reinforcements.

That looks nice. I went back to the table and spent several more hours at it and finally got a usable alien coil, but for the life of me can't get a staple or framed staple to work. My end goal is the framed stapled alien. Looks bad ass but is so freaking hard to make. I'm gonna try again next week.

Seeing ohmboyoc's alien build video was the catalyst for me going and picking up an rda. At first I didn't understand how much juice it takes to heat up that much metal. Built an alien with strictly 28awg core and wrap. It wasn't terrible looking but it WAS laughable sticking that fucker on my ITaste MVP maxing out at 5volts or 11 watts. I learned a lot building microcoils on that box in my ohmega rda, but nothing I did on that mod comes close to the flavor chasing I'm experiencing on my mech and my finances sigelei fuchai. Next day off when I'm not running around like a chicken with its decapitated head stuck up its ass I'm buckling down and doing that staple build. For better or worse I'll post my results.

So im taking another shot at a framed multi-core. Its 30x38 framed with 26 and fused with 38. Heres a progress shot, im about 1.5" into the wrap and need a break so i thought id try and get some feedback before i get too far in.

Does it look like im on the right track? I twisted the cores this time to help manage them or is this gonna bite me in the ass when i go to coil it?

I straightened and hammered them out and they coiled up nicely. Double vision should be here today and ill give an update on resistance and performance once i have em installed and running. First successful frame job, yay!

I bought a Micro TFV4 off a friend in the forum for $20 (I wanted it to finish my collection), when he got the Mico kit the R80 had a 510 with incorrect threading. He also sent me the R80 with the tank and I was thinking of using the internals in a diy box or something while I have been trying all of my gear on it to see if anything would work on it. I only got one thing out of almost 30+ Tanks/RTAs/RDAs to fit on it....My Velocity. It screwed down just fine and it worked, so I made a build for it-the one I was going to use in the Griffin. Its a warm vape, even at just 80W this thing PUTS OUT and flavor is damn pleasant, much better then the normal FC and I know its the Ribbons Surface area in and out vaporizing that juice in a blink of an eye that makes this build great.

I like the .5 x .1, its wide but not too wide, also its thin and will heat up fast and have less of a "heatsink effect" when used to wrap with or frame with. If your using it as a core then I would go with the .5 x .2, I havent tried or seen the last one...It all depends on what you want to get out of the wire though...

Thanks, ill probably go with the .5x.1 then. .07 sounds too dangerous for me, i just stabbed myself 3 times cleaning off my mat just now so i can imagine what razor thin ribbon would do...

Wait, increase or decrease? Increase, use 28 for the cores or more wraps. To decrease do a standard 3 core, go down to 24 or less wraps

i meant increase. i can change the frames to 28k but i think the ribbon in the middle still keeps the resistance too low. im not sure changing the frame will have much effect.

They look rough but rockin around 125watts is a good sweet spot for flavor. I had them up to 150 but the flavor was there as much.

I probably blow throgh more liquid then anyone Ive met as Im home all day stuck infront of a computer typing, typing, typing...
This leads to vaping at a nonstop pace and I basically drink the liquids down. I buy from VVV and I go through almost 1300ml in 2-3 weeks, Ive posted pic excited for deliveries and the same bottles gone in the next two weeks if you look through the threads. I didnt think much about how much liquid that is and I figured more people vape like that anyway. This is why I was DIY but just switched up to VVV after using his juice and liking it-his prices and deals are crazy.

This is why I was DIY but just switched up to VVV after using his juice and liking it-his prices and deals are crazy.

The wires wouldn't cooperate with me last night, all I got made was a pair of aliens, i tried n80 cores and they vape great but are definitely harder to build with. 28n/38n 5 wraps .13ohm. I also tried installing them the right way with the positive leads on the bottom and the negatives up top, I didn't enjoy that either lol.

These are my favorites, I get them in 60/40 and 3MG, then I add VG to it depending on if Im using a RTA or RTA, Its cold out right now so liquid thicken to almost glue here....I run with 80/20 when its warm out though.
I never let them steep, I use them straight from the mail but they do get better after a few days, if I think the mix/nic is too potent I will heat/shake/uncap them overnight and shake them again. If you get a "bad mix/peppery nic" then message "B-Boy" or hit of the VVV threads and he will send you new juice free and full refund. I always buy the 1300ml/$130 (without coupon) order every 2-3 weeks and Ive only got 1 bottle that didnt have fully blended koolada, which made it feel like menthol bad and I got it replace with free bottle with the replacement. Its a good line up and the prices couldnt be much better, especially with his customer service and free juices!
Im pretty tight with the owner and he tells me what coming and inside info, there will be new flavors coming out (5-10) in a couple weeks (2-3).

I'm still burning through that 13 pack I got. The cinnamon ones I had a very dry cinnamon flavor so those were rough but the others I have like quite a bit. The strawberry lemonade is a very love little hate. Haha that strong lemon that hits the throat is a tad rough at first but the flavor is soooooo good. I will reorder that in high vg next time. Below 70 vg tends to burn my throat so I'm guessing that is the culprit. Especially when it comes to citrus. I'm burning the froopers and their capt crunch flavored right now. Pretty tasty!

Just got this guy

Its a bit of a learning xurve for me to build higher than what i usially build..... this is the best i could do with what i had.

24n80 / 32n80, 8 wraps dual coil... .3ohm.
Need to invest in kanthal again and higher gauges, im going to need it. This guy is a monster though and the 13h9h kills on it.
