Want to buy a new tank but kinda stuck on what to buy. Price range doesn't matter (want a real good one) I am a flavor chaser and have been building alot lately.
So far i've owned a couple sub ohm tanks, the limitless plus rdta (which i hate) and the azeroth from coilart (not bad with the triple deck if you build some decent tri core claps on it).
My favorite and all day use is still the goon rda. I've seen alot of problems and things i dont like with the goon lp and goon 1.5 so i've always stuck to the original goon. My favorite coils are the staple staggered fused clapton (i make em with 28g k-a1 frames and 8 pieces of .5 ribbon staggered with 36g and fused with 40. I run it in single coil with 3 slots open on 1 side on the goon. I also love high gauge fused claptons/staples (those i usually run dual coil with 2 slots open on both sides). Because of this, building on a deck like the limitless is pure garbage since flat coils will bend and twist on you and the fit is never really tight, unlike on a rda with clamps like the goon. But the thing is, its kinda impractical taking my dripper with me everywhere. Im looking for a tank (rta,rdta) that still packs the flavor like im used to and is able to fit nice coils in there. Can be single or dual doesn't really matter. amount of mls it holds doesnt really matter either, since im carrying my eliquid with me anyway xD (these exotic builds slurp alot of juice). Its more for easyness, so i can take a nice vape break at work or at a bar without having to redrip that often.

edit: i've decided to buy either the kayfun v5 or the taifun gt 2. Still not quite sure as to which one to get but im leaning heavilly towards the kayfun

Can't go past the ammit 25 by Geek vape..best flavour ever, super easy build deck..see the answer to leaking issue on the forum from a few days back.

I've tried getting my aunt into kayfun5. Thought it was the best flavor, easiest build no leaking tank. She hated the restricted airflow. New vaper, she still needs the clouds. Gt2 probably even more so. Hurricane clone seems to be her spot

It came with an Amigo style tank. A year and half later, the tank is still kickin'.
I think Amigo hit a home run when they put out the top-fill version. I really enjoy the one I got at a local B&M.
The Amigo 0.5 ohm coils are very good and are more affordable than most replacement coils. I have yet to install an Amigo coil that didn't work well.

Check out George Mead's cross reference page to see what coils may fit in what tanks. It can be a real money saver.

Sorry.....I'm such a neophyte that I'm still pimping sub-ohm factory coil tanks. I should have paid more attention to your rda preference.

You won't regret getting the kayfun, it's the only RTA I use & the flavour is amazing if your after that kind of thing.
It's a big down step from the goon though!
Kayfuns are more MTL type attys. I use my Kayfun when I don't wanna blow huge clouds but I use the original goon myself an do agree the flavour is great but has great clouds to go with it.
I struggle to find a mixture of clouds an flavour.
If I don't feel like using them I use the big baby with the X4 coil.
My friend builds for me cos of my nerves an recently he was on a road trip & I've used my big baby for days.
The big baby with X4 matches the flavour of my dripper. No bullshit!

The Petri RTA is as flavorful as a dripper, but only a 2ml tank and it is thirsty

Lol kinda forgot about this thread xD. I already got the kayfun v5 for like 3 days now and im loving it. Its quite a step down in terms of airflow from my goon but its a great vape. It consumes like no juice and its nice being able to vape without seeing your battery bars move. Perfect for when im on the road. I also like to vape my kayfun in the morning with my coffee. Starting the day with a goon is kinda harsh. Its just too much for the morning. And the flavor of it is really good. I am able to replicate the flavor on my goon with a ssfc build but its still different since you have to vape such a build on 80w and it gets warm. The kayfun delivers that kind of flavor with a simple fused clapton build on 20w. Which is pretty unique imo. Since i got my k5 it kinda changed my vaping style. From high airflow dl to more restricted dl. Just ordered a kayfun 5 squared too. Seems to not have hit the US yet. Seems to be a bigger version of the v5 with increased airflow. Oh, and the k5 is not a mtl device, on the contrary, the most closed setting is still 2 times airyer than the k3. To fully use the k5 as a mtl device you have to buy the mtl kit with it. I find it to be a very satisfying dl vape on the most open setting.

Yh been looking at more restricted dl type attys lately sinds owning a kayfun v5. Thinking about getting a hadaly. My most preferred builds are usually big staples/stagger builds that i rock in single coil, so a hadaly would fit me perfectly i think. And it is also squonkable. Been thinking about it for a while (getting a squonker) but dont know how to feel about it. Most squonkers dont rlly feel like they have a nice ui/chipset and i rlly dont want to spend like 300 bucks on a mod. Besides that, i always wonder what kind of plastic bottles is inside them. Is it like the same material as those cheap 30ml diy eliquid bottles? And since they are usually so big, isnt it a real hassle cleaning them/changing flavors? And how are they in terms of comfort, since the bottle takes up quite some space right? And i really prefer dual battery mods. I assume you own a squonk device since you made that suggestion btw, mb if im mistaken and I've made you read all this for nothing xD

Personally love the Hadaly, it is definitely in my top five of all time. If you like super airy vapes (I don't) and don't want to convert your Goon go, there are several very inexpensive squonk options right now for large single coil builds. The Wasp Nano comes to mind, only about $13 for an authentic

The new Entheon is amazing for super air or choked down. But, can be hard to get a hold of and are about $90

So far, the consensus seems to be more of a 2.5 ID build for the Entheon. I did a 3mm and it was just a bit much

i have a hadaly with a pretty big framed staple in it right now and i love it. i use it on a mechanical squonker and a tube. there are a few juices that have never tasted as good as they do (for me) in the hadaly. definitely a good purchase imo.

Heard about the entheon too. Seems very nice. But i was more asking about squonk mods in particular. Also, im not a mechanical mod vaper. So for someone like me who vapes on dual battery mods are there any nice squonk mods? My worry is that its gonna be fairly bulky due to the extra bottle implemented in it. And what are your experiences with the bottles (see my previous post)

Heard alot of ppl about the wasp nano btw too now you mention it. Didnt know it was only 14 bucks lmao. Will get that one even if i dont like it, 14 bucks is a steal

The Lost Vape Drone is nice 166DNA, but the placement of the bottle kinda blows. Also, the stock bottle is pretty hard but easily replaced.

The Dripbox 160 by Kanger: lots of folks love it, but not me. Biggest issue: non- adjustable 510. Also, I don't like the chip set, too fidgety for me, but some don't mind.

Yh i feel like the hadaly is kinda the kayfun of rda's. Having that small chamber with them side posts. Thought a long time about it and ordered it today. Cant wait till it comes in. Gonna be making some wicked coils for it this weekend. It should be here on wednesday. My kayfun 5 squared should be here on friday also. Will be a very fun week. I wonder what will happen to the price of it if its rlly true that only 250 authentic ones are gonna be made
