Morning, Knucks!

I'm glad things are getting back to normal for you and K, 22.

Glow.......How are you doing?

This boofhead went to the wellness center to do her cardio and decided since there were only 2 other people in the gym that she would try a circuit with all of the weight machines. I had my orientation on Tuesday and was so worried about remember the numbers and positions for each machine that since no one was there.....I could do it! Well, I did it, but I couldn't do 3 sets of the weights that I did with the trainer. Then I realized........You had nothing but a cup of watermelon and a 1/2 cup of coffee, you idiot!!! Ughhhhhhhh........I guess a lighter workout with no energy was better than no workout at all, right?

Now I want a waffle..........lol

just when you thought pokemon was bad, they invent "mario cart" for sat nav

this will end well...
Nothing of that can end well.
On the upside it has me wanting to restore a 1984 black trans-am to tour the country with; and, pretend like I'm an Italian plumber.

Glad you got out, socialized, got some pup love and enjoyed yourself. That makes being buggered well worth it!

For me, today has been better than yesterday but last night was rough. I didn't take meds yesterday other than one dose of an aspirin/acetaminiphen combo in the morning. I needed to know how bad the pain was so I tell the doc for Workman's Comp on Monday. It is still bad. Waking every hour or so to try to change position and then this morning having all the pain and difficulty moving. Today I did take an Ibuprofen. Hate doing that since they can really trash the kidneys especially for a diabetic.

Guess I will follow through with the WC doc even though I have fought to stay away from them. Don't trust them very much but I need to know what is going on and WC will eventually pay for the MRI. I have been using my health ins to see my Osteopath for the past two weeks. They will probably deny the charges and I have to try to get WC to pay my doc. Pewp.

All will be well. And I will stop being Debbie Downer on here. Promise.
Crap.
Sorry you're struggling Glowy. Fingers crossed for some big improvements...

Home from the river.
It was relaxing. I went for walks in the woods, paddled a canoe around, and otherwise just ate and napped and read a lot. I needed that.

Glad things are getting back to normal for 22. And it appears Dready needs a few days by the river too.

Sounds like the the perfect weekend. Eating, napping and canoeing on the river are three of my favorite things.

Been a tough week.

Didn't want to talk about it, but didn't want to seem insensitive by joking around and acting like we weren't going through it. So, I just kinda stayed quiet.

Ya know what I mean?
Hey, joking around is just fine. You are anything but insensitive! Humor saves us and we all need a break from grief. Sis is into the rage stage.:cuss2: Hope it doesn't last too long or I might have to kill her.

I am hanging in. Stressing about being involved with Workman's Comp. No good comes of that around here.

I think you are supposed to have a decent amount of carb and protein for working out but I have no real world experience. LOL

Sounds wonderful! I am glad you had the opportunity to take some time for yourself.

Stan is heading up a sober raft trip/camping for this coming weekend. I am thinking that I will try to go along but it is a longer drive than I have been doing since this back crap. I won't raft :)cry:) just cause I don't want to risk any further injury. I love rafting!!! The Friday and Saturday night groups around the campfire are totally worth it though. Lots of great folks and lots of long and short term sobriety floating around. I will probably take a car of my own just in case I need to get back to civilization before the others.

this is my feeble attempt at good news, without being insensitive

5 rounds left, i think

3rd means we'd play second in first week of the finals

then if we lose, we get a second chance against 5-8th teams

if we won that [first final], a week break, then winner of one of the second chance games

:confetti:

Easier said then done, but you've done enough stressing, so at least stop stressing today......Try to relax and do something to keep your mind off of everything.

I think I should have had ANYTHING before going to work out. I just didn't even think of it because I just wanted to go and get it done with.

That sucks.

Stop it, though. It's only July.
Back to school....pffft.
*walks away grumbling*

Mike and I went to Sam's Club yesterday and there were a bunch of parents around a Halloween costume rack. I had to go down a different aisle. I couldn't even think about the end of October already!

Good morning, Knucks!

I've been up since 4am.........because I'm headed to a school board meeting. Yeah.......a school board meeting is scheduled for 6:15am today for the new hires.........so, I'm off and going for the day! Maybe a nap will be in order for me! I doubt that will happen!

Have a good Monday, everyone!

Hi knuckles.
With the FDA regs about to kick in, I just panicked and ordered another liter of nic for my freezer.
There is so much speculation about what will be available where and when...I just felt like I needed to.

And I'm wondering if anyone else is feeling extremely frustrated and disheartened by our crazy world? Having been away from any source of news for a few days, I was a little overwhelmed with everything that's happened in the past few days once I got back to civilization.
I don't even know what to say...

Somebody tell joke.

PA regs just passed and my brother is NOT happy. I think it is October but all shops have to pay a 40% floor tax on all merchandise. He and the other shop managers are saying to look for deep deep discounts because the would rather give the merchandise away to people trying to quit than give PA a cent of it. It's not going to be pretty.

More bad news for PA and me!!! I wonder what that means if I already own them..........almost all my stuff I ordered online except when I started out.......

"It sounds like a bad joke, but it’s all too real. Pennsylvania vapers could go to prison for buying vapor products online and not paying a 40 percent tax on them. “The penalties for evading the tax include up to a $5,000 fine, or prison time not to exceed five years,” Alex Clark of CASAA told me in an e-mail. You read that right: you could go to jail for buying e-liquid online and not sending a check to the state of Pennsylvania.

It’s even illegal to merely possess products bought in another state. Section 1207-A(a) of the law criminalizes the ownership of any vape device or e-liquid that wasn’t bought from a licensed Pennsylvania seller. So if you buy a mod on a trip to New Jersey or Ohio, merely having it in your possession will make you a criminal after October 1."
