i think i have man flu, certain death awaits
Hey Always I've noticed that too but thought maybe it's because I've been boring everyone with gear talk all week. Seems most have found their quiver and are content. I'm just looking for a good place to study up on DIY and find some recipes before my supplies come. Tried to go to HICs site but it's slower than our last home (smh).
I actually did it! These are Hawk's goatberries.

i think he is a member here, started here and expanded to his own site? so should be lots on this forum somewhere
Thanks Claudia! I just spent the last 3 hours looking there, and elsewhere, and am now super excited for DIY! Especially now that I set up a safe place to mix away from children. This is the link to his vendor forum. http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-mixes-diy-recipes-store.54921/
and this is the link to the DIY recipes forum, here you have to go through the post headers to find the ones with HIC's in the title. http://vapingunderground.com/forums/diy-e-liquid-recipes.50/
Good luck in your mixing journey! If you need any sorta help the diy pros will come to the rescue. Don't be scared to ask and make sure to WRITE EVERTYTHING DOWN lol. Ordered a couple more items, downloaded a couple files, and found a good calculator that works on my Mac
Now I just need my supplies to arrive (and hopefully another week or two before #2 is born!)

Thanks, I'm sure I will! I have a couple flavors, in particular, that I want to nail down first to replace my ADVs. I'm sure I'll need to try some variations to get the creamy aspects dialed. And then of course the things I would to even realize I don't know until I get thereGood luck in your mixing journey! If you need any sorta help the diy pros will come to the rescue. Lol. I've been thinking about bumping up some of my stash, just so I don't need to hit it as much. Need to be able to duck out and chain vape an hours worth in under a minute don't think I would enjoy anything over 6mg though, been at 3mg for a year now.You better get to mixing then. You might not get another chance for a bit. And don't be afraid to add a bit more nic when you need it. I have a feeling you will need it
^^^^^she's right, ya know^^^^Remember to mix each flavor all by itself. You will better understand what characteristics it will bring to the table and you will know what percentage you personally prefer that one at. When following someone elses' recipe, it is helpful to know what percentage of flavoring would be too much or too little for your needs. If Vienna Cream is just right for you (not that you will want to vape it standalone) in strength at 3%, seeing it in a recipe at 5% tells you to cut down the overall percentage of flavoring for that recipe (while keeping the ratios the same). This will save you a ton of time instead of pouring out and starting over. Will save you a few dollars in the long run, too.
I do not like a recipe with cream vaped fresh mixed. But after 2 hours at 120F and a day of rest or 5 days of drawer steeping, I am ready to vape it

How do I know this?
Because, I never followed this advice, and I dump stuff out all the time. Well, not all the time. 240ml yesterday, but not all the time.
I get a fair bit of exercise during my work day. Just can't count it towards my 100 miles.Still cheaper than paying $20 for a bottle of juice you cannot stand to vape.
You will be back to your walks in no time. How many do you get in, just moving around during a normal day?

Does this mean I need several bottles for each flavor? So I can steep a single flavor in each increment?Remember to mix each flavor all by itself. I thought about doing it that way, but how would I know what's "right" for me if I can't compare & contrast in real time? Given I'll have about 2 dozen flavors, that's a hell of a lot of bottles to have around; I thought the 50 I ordered in 5ml would be plenty, but...mix single flavours, starting low %age, gradually up the % in the single bottle of each until it is right

I'm no master mixologist though so I wouldn't listen to much I say
Jimmy, I giggle every time I look at your avatar God he's funny...I am listening Need to get off my duff and order some of the ingredients you provided and try something new.
That was the idea.
Nawwww. Thank you embee. Little misery guts pupper made me smile

Just work on one or two flavors at a time. The way I did it when I first started was every time I mixed, I made a few recipes and a few stand alone flavors. That seemed doable for me. Just start with the ones you're most excited about and work from there.I thought about doing it that way, but how would I know what's "right" for me if I can't compare & contrast in real time? I think I like this approach. I know the 2 I want to clone and have rough guesses where to start in them, based on others replies. Then I'll also start experimenting with my creamy flavors, as those are what I'll need to tweak the recipes, primarily.Just work on one or two flavors at a time. Or not. You'll figure out what works. If it feels simpler to start out with a few recipes, go for it. Just go for it either way.
