Evening all! I have returned from yet another foray into foreign territories. I successfully navigated the Left Coast, Donner Pass (my load was heavy, my truck is a bit of a dog so I had time to crochet a blanket while I was climbing), Price Canyon and the mountain passes in Colorado.

Looks like I will be home until at least Tuesday so I can watch the Broncos/Patriots game. Looking forward to it! (with trepidation, but still looking forward to it!)

Ah yes, Donner Pass...
Next time on 80, wave when you go through Rocklin, our exit :)

I got the new gear plus a few others cleaned and rebuilt. Really impressed with the IPV D3/Crown combo! The Griffin vapes very warm, almost hot. Not sure if it's the fused Clapton build or the atty, but I like a cooler vape than I'm getting so far.
3 new tanks and I must say I'm very impressed. My Reos feel like they hit a bit wimpy, but I still trust them far more for pocket carry. Time will tell.

Continuing to have my own little rebuilding/tasting party here tonight. Decisions, decisions...
First taste of "The Milk" by Breakfast at Telios, really good version of fruity pebbles & milk. Never tried Cereal Killa, but it's more accurate than SJ Crunch a la Berries.

Good early morning Knuckles.
So now the weather people are saying we will actually get some snow today...about 5 inches. That kinda makes me happy.
Hope my Southern friends are all warm and safe this morning.

Good morning, em and all the other knucks!

Glad you are getting some of the white stuff!

I've woken up to snowmageddan! Our 3-5" is over a foot and it's still snowing. There is NO ONE on the road in front of my house. It's sort of eerie......lol Lots of shoveling to be done, that's for sure. I'll post some pics once the sun comes up a bit. It sure is pretty!

And I hope you get out to play in the snow!!! lol I sort of have to stay in..........I'm still pretty sick. If you could cut off my nose, I'd be fine......lol I also got a bunch of orders yesterday, so I'm just going to take it easy and work on those throughout the day. Maybe cook some kind of soup. It's a soupy kind of day.

It's definitely pretty, from the inside anyway haha. This honestly may be the first huge winter storm that completely missed NE Ohio, usually we get hammered with lake effect. All in all winter hasn't been as bad for snow/ice, just colder than usual

And our two feet has turned in to maybe 12" with only some more off and on showers today.
Maybe they should always over estimate. Cuz, people here did stay off the roads and we really have only had minor incidents and road closures.
Still have some shoveling to do today, though.

A little public service announcement about the Pinch.

No matter what they say, it is not a pocket friendly mod. It has a feather light touch to fire it.
Yesterday, while shoveling, I started smelling and seeing smoke. I look down and there's smoke rolling out of my jacket pocket. Apparently, the pinch was resting just right and was auto firing. I yanked it out of my pocket and there were flames coming out of the air holes and drip tip. I shoved it down in the snow really quick. It just burned up the cotton inside the atty, but damn, that was scary for a minute.
Wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't been talking to my neighbor at the time.
So, if you have one or are getting one, just be aware of that potential.

Good morning er'body!

They had to call in the National Guard for our Turnpike. I guess there were a ton of buses with HS students stuck on their way to ski slopes (along with other motorists). Apparently they have been there in upwards of 5 hours. That's about 40 mins. away from me. Mike just got up and keeps looking outside and saying, "Where am I going to put it all!" LOL He's also asked for me to make him waffles so he has enough energy for all of the shoveling.

Hopefully, your neighbor doesn't run to the media. Tomorrow's headlines will read something like, "Roanoke man dives into snow bank after lighting himself on fire with his ecig."
No bueno.

I use one of those vape sox thingy's when I carry my mods around. Don't usually take my dibi's out of the house - especially after my reo walked off my desk at work.

Today is re-mount the tv's in the bedrooms, assemble one more bed, return unused flooring, and whatever-else the chief decides on . . ..

Sunny and beautiful here. I missed the storms out west....got in between a couple that were in the forecast. We should have showers of both rain and snow in the second half of the game tomorrow.

Steph, that really is beautiful. I would not be leaving home for a few days if I lived there. DH and granddaughter would be out taking turns with the huge snowblower we have. I could make hot chocolate in my new Hamilton Beach Flex Brew (thanks to everyone here that kept raving about them. I asked for it for Christmas).

I'm trying really hard not to complain about the cold since I got the long beautiful fall I asked for, but it's getting more difficult to do that with 27 degrees and wind chill about 18. The snow isn't even pretty, it just looks like dirty soap suds with the ground showing through all over.

Morning Doggie :)
I'm watching the weekly golf tourney which used to take place where I grew up...the old "Bob Hope Desert Classic" used 4 golf courses and we lived on 3rd hole of one. Family VERY golfy :)
(tourney moved to next town down)
