Hi everyone, I'm fine just busy studying and playing, every so often I take a break from the workshop videos to read more about the iMac which is set to arrive on Monday. I'm both nervous and excited, oh and a bit of sticker shock thrown in, my vape budget is non existent for the next 18 months. lol

If you need some hair growin grog I'll hook you up.
Think I've solved the long, flowing back hair problem. But the long, flowing ear hair is still a minor problem.
If you wind it around your head 4 or 5 times you can achieve an awesome beehive.

There used to be 12 in a pack... 11 now.

Standard practice is eat a whole pack, but diabetic eating one should get you honorary aussie status

Yeah.....thought 11 instead of 12 was odd.
Eating the whole pack would put me in a coma.
Now I've eaten a TimTam. I'm just a kangaroo ride away from getting a t-shirt.

So, kind of a funny story. Karen has been selling charm bracelets necklaces on Facebook and it's gotten to the point where we wanted to get a printer so that we can just print shipping labels and do the postage from home. And she has a friend that runs the copier business so we asked him for advice of a suggestion on what to get. He suggested a certain one and I told Karen to go ahead and order it and then when we check the tracking on it it shows the thing was 68 pounds. Needless to say, we now have a gigantic office copier sitting in the middle of our living room. But hey, at least we can now print shipping labels.

Does anyone have suggestions for DIY recipe calculators for Mac? I'm trying to prepare for the migration next week.
I use e-liquid recipes .com and then create notes in Evernote to further organize for offline use. Working well for me.
My wife is a software engineer, so once things calm down a bit with the baby I'm going to ask her to write an app for not only recipes, but inventory managing with alerts and vendor links :)

Yeah, just driving across town and back before work would mean I'd have to get out of bed even earlier, and I don't see that happening. Exercise is a priority, but it lags behind sleep by a long shot.
Totally understand the sleep issue! I have a 10 hour break and I sleep about 9.5 of it! I seem to have lost the ability to sleep on command. Last night was a 12 hour break cause I couldn't fall asleep when I crawled into the sleeper.

NANANANABOOBOO.....
We shut the door on the deep freeze and pushed it east.
45 here today. The HERK is going for a walk......and not a mall walk....that's for old farts. We're going to walk right outside like big dogs. Probably do 3, maybe 4 whole blocks. Then maybe a nap and Mexican fideo for lunch.

Stay warm, Eskimo knuckles. Bitch-about-the-heat, hot weather will be here soon.
I had to use the AC coming out of TX yesterday. No biggie. I hate heat almost as much as Megan and I use the AC all the time. It is beautiful here in Colorful Colorado today. 67°F today with partly cloudy skies. Tomorrow will probably be a blizzard. If you don't like the weather in CO, wait a minute.

Seems like a good time to say, "Damn Magpies!"

Not to slight what my wife is doing, but embee creates jewelry, my wife is just putting jewelry pieces together. Pretty big difference.

That's how I started. I couldn't find the components I wanted so decided to learn how to make them myself. It's not as tough as you might think, just takes a little know-how and a lot of patience.

And lots of new expensive tools?

I've already heard her say, "that wouldn't be hard to make!", A few times.

Yup. I've managed to avoid shinyitis with my vape gear, but show me a tool catalogue and I get all weak in the knees.
If K decides she wants to learn more, feel free to ask for suggestions. She could probably find some classes at a community college or something.
Or should I just keep my mouth shut?

Thanks Dready. The one I'm using right now is one Peng suggested, I have e-liquid Calculator.com but haven't used it, I almost panicked about the Evernote recipes I have but then realized it is online and simply logging into the site will transfer that. Now I have to figure out if I have/want to use Safari or another browser, and what other browsers are compatible with Mac. OMG so much to learn, my poor old head is spinning, excellent timing on my part to do this while in the middle of an art class learning a completely new app.

In any case my brain is getting a lot of good exercise and I'm fairly certain that I don't have Alzheimer's yet because the new stuff I'm learning is sticking.

I need to make myself concentrate long enough to make a flavoring order sometime soon as well, I am pretty sure I will be running low on a few that I use all the time. Thank you again Peng and everyone else that encouraged/pushed me into DIY, I simply cannot imagine paying retail for juice anymore, add to the fact that retail juice doesn't taste good anymore, it's just way too sweet.

So did you post a link to her FB site?
No, I hadn't. She was doing a bunch of charm bracelets and necklaces and then came across this guy that makes realistic animal pendants and it's just blown up from there. All these Hunter types have just been buying them up like crazy. Her fb page is called Mountainside Expressions, if you want to check it out.
Ya know, this guy also makes all kinds of dog breed pendants too. You have poodles, right? I'll find a pic when I get home.
