still alive, yep I am
really watching Olympics, we like lots of skiing and skating stuffs and also Curling
kids and grandkids going on a cruise, we get to dog sit Archie, their slightly mental boxer rescue. He was in the LA fires, give up by family burned out, and spent time in multiple foster homes etc. they’ve had him for 6+ months. He loves and protects BHB.

Been moving furniture and cleaning carpet because the wife wanted to go and “just look” at living room furniture. Apparently “just look” is Midwest wife speak for “I’m buying” and you need to get ready for it. Well…she said “we” need to get ready for it but I already knew “we” means “you” in Midwest wife speak.
Furniture was delivered early this morning and we(me) got it in ***we(me) is Hawktalk for watching the delivery guys lug it in***, and then somebody moved all the peripheral crap (end tables, lamps, tv, Herk toys and bed and such) back in. “Somebody” is Hawktalk for Hawk. I’m tired. She is apparently in better shape….didn’t even break a sweat or pull a muscle.
Now I’m going to make us a nice lunch. And by “us” I mean “me”.
She can make her own or go hungry.

That "we" is any wife anywhere speak for you or me, it's not location dependent...
Sometimes she’ll say “we” and I’ll say “we…you got a mouse in your pocket”?
It’s not a mouse. It’s a bird. She gives me the bird.
Kindergarten teachers shouldn’t know a lot of the words that she knows.
