Not too sure, Wismec refuses to publish their changelogs, but if you go back through the thread I put up a graph, showing a visual comparison of the 2 binary files, and I'd guesstimate over 30% of the firmware was chanked. a font change only would be a very small fraction. There are problems with the way 1.08 reads and processes resistance and as a result, temp settings can vary wildly.
From what I can see other forums are discovering the same thing. BTW the O rings work fine !!

If so...it just looks like they gave the RX200 the same font as what was on the DNA version.

That looks like someone out a DNA 200 in the RX body. My display looks nothing like that.

I'm no too crazy about the new font, but some reported it fixed the fire delay.
As you know, I was having an issue with that before.
So it might be worth a shot to see if it takes it away.
Just as long as I can flash back to 1.07 if it doesnt fix it.
Something that pissed ME off last night though...
I was changing my batteries, and when I went to put the cover back on it wouldnt fit right.
I was like wtf, this had been fitting like a glove before, no gaps at all.
Come to find out that one of my magnets had come free out of the door, and was stuck to the magnet on the body.
Easy enough fix, just super glued it back into the door.
But kinda pissed me off a bit.
Guess these magnets are pretty strong eh?
Or the glue these guys are using is Shit. lol

I think you power it down, then from there 20 clicks shows you what firmware you are running. I believe you can also hook it up to your pc and the updater software displays what firmware version you are on. I don't have one, but I do believe that's what I've read.

Try inreasing the wattage in TC mode a little higher than in watts mode, and the delay goes away. At least it did for me.
Naw...the update didnt fix the delay on mine.
Not that its a really big deal. It only delays the first time you pick it up.
Flashed back to 1.07.
I prefer that font.
We'll see what 1.09 brings...if there is one.

I like this mod so much I just bought a second one thanks to Ben-Rod's post today!

Just use the same software you used to upgrade to 1.08, except choose the 1.07 binary file. If you need the 1.07, PM me, and I'll get it too you, but it should be in the directory of the upgrade tool.

Couldn't resist buying another black rx200 at that price. I thought I was done buying vape gear for a few months but rotating with a quad coil velocity, dual coil claptons & dual titanium on my aromamizers, I'm going through the lg poop batteries in a lil more than half a day lol!
Ti mode is kinda wonky but once it settles in after a couple of hours, clouds galore
24g SS316L just arrived in my mail box, can't wait to do a dual vertical with those in the aromamizer

Fasttech should really be changed to shitty slow tech my only complaint with them is there shipping time. Worst customer service I've dealt with is angelcigs. That company blows. But don't wanna take away from thread here rx200 all day

Super easy just put a piece of tape to hold the up down buttons on , remove four screws in the battery compartment. Then remove the face plate switch colors install screws . There is a walk through on the early dna adopters forum. This walk through was for a problem with the ribbon connector
