I work some pretty long hours and my time on the forum is limited, but I came back to one thread here for the first time in 24 hours and 900 posts were made! I can't keep up with that. Invariably, I'll be reading and it'll be really interesting, then I have to get to bed or to work, and what I was reading is ancient stuff and buried by an incredible amount of stuff. I try to pick up where I was and then just scan, but I hate missing really neat stuff.

Yes, I agree, and you have my sympathies. My ex and I split after less than a year of marriage, and it STILL hurt like hell; it makes one feel like such a failure. But sometimes it's the only possible answer. Chin up -- it gets better, especially if/when you find someone who actually is compatible and lets YOU be YOU. Been married to #2 for almost 29 yrs now; he's not perfect and neither am I, but we let each other BE... and it works.
