I can't see your screen...---
First I removed the battery from the mod ---
When I clicked on the connect screen I got two buttons
Install driver
And
Connect

I clicked install driver and it installed the driver
Then I clicked "connect'' and it connected
Then I clicked the 'sxi' at the top
Then clicked upgrade
Then I clicked 'open file'
An I dialogue box opened up and I found the upgrade file I previously downloaded from the yihisxmini website
When I clicked on the aforementioned file it asked me if I was sure and i clicked 'yes'
Then I hit upgrade or update I don't remember which and a progress meter showed up and it worked

I'm sorry but I don't know what you are seeing I've only done this twice last night and had an Issue but I removed what I downloaded , reinstalled it and it worked fine as above.

You mean in eco mode? Its not going to in eco mode. Its trying to reserve some power to lengthen battery life.
Power plus and power behave the same. But check it, the swapped them by accident they have a bug patch being . worked on.

No, I'm in same strings as before 20j, 450 degrees in powerful plus. Just seems a little weaker. Could be me though. I sit at desk at home with 3 different devices and switch back and forth

They have 2 versions of the current version (2.1). The only difference being one allows 150w in battle axe mode, while the other keeps the previous 120w cap. All else is equal.

I think you would want version 1.4 for the old firmware?
Like the idiot I am I didn't write the version down.
I'm digging the 150w version of it personally. And when they fix the 'eco' bug, ill use that with the tanks for sure.

I'm gonna think its you, I don't notice any performance change with the same settings anywhere.
And before I updated my other sxm I did the Side by side vape to make sure I wanted t and it passed that completely unscientific comparison

My guess is that folks noticing it firing hotter/cooler than before at the same settings either did not pair a room temperature atty with the device at room temperature after updating the device (or possibly was not paired properly before the update and they did pair it correctly afterwards).

Not belittling anyone who makes the mistake..coming off of DNA40 devices it's easy to "forget" that the SX doesn't automatically pair with temp control devices.

Couple things to mention.

In Eco mode the power signal is the same as it is in Standard mode on my oscope. Main difference is the screen times out after 5 sec. And there are some background processes that are disabled.

There is a difference in the bootloader between the Sx350j and the SXmini M so depending on what you have you need to get the correct files to update.

There is a known bug that will give you "Check Battery" error and showing a completely depleted battery bar. If you run in Eco mode and remove the battery and reinstall you will persistently receive this error. The fix is to change to any other mode, remove battery and re-insert.

There is a fix for this bug and we should be seeing a new public release soon. So if you have problems updating you may want to wait until the new patch is available.

Lucky you. Grats!!! I may email them to see if they'd ship another color. :)

Well I sent them an email after I ordered pink/silver requesting a different color on Sunday. Received a shipping notification this morning and no word from them on my request so it looks like I'll be packing a pinky half the time. :)

I had it paired properly. In fact, after the update, I didn't realize I had to re-pair it and it wouldn't even fire, just kept saying dry coil. I think it's that last night and before update I kept switching devices. One had a .1 ohm dual coil 32 gauge at 20j and the other had a .8ohm dual coil 30 gauge at 20j

Supposedly they have fixed the Eco mode bug. You need to downgrade back to original firmware then re-download the upgraded firmware. Upgraded firmware has same version number but the time stamp on the download page has changed.

Seems to be working, and Eco mode now has its own memory slots. So if you set m1 to 20j in standard through powerful+, when you go to Eco mode you can create a different m1 setting, for example 16j. Then go back to a different mode and m1 will still be 20

Did you do the roll back to 1.4 then reinstall the 2.1? And if so if you put your device into Eco mode, remove the battery, then insert the battery back what does the device do?

BTW Eco mode added 5 additional memory locations with the release of 2.1.

Yes, I did all that. Removed the battery when in Eco mode and then reinserted battery. Battery bar shows full

What download page did you use? Yihiecigar.com or yihisxmini.com? 120w or 150w firmware version?

yihisxmini. I have the 120w version. I don't own the battery tube, so no reason to do the 150 version.

This info was just on a forum, thats why I said supposedly. But I do know, I was getting the error this morning and now I'm not.

I know I tried rolling back and reinstalling the 150w firmware, and I know at least one other person tried the 120 with no luck.

It's only 10:45 am in China now, so fingers crossed, we still could see something new released later

Just found something we all overlooked with the new upgrade.... There are actually 20 memory locations now instead of the original 10 and the 15 we thought at first:
5 - Power (soft/standard/powerful/powerful+), 5 - Joule (soft/standard/powerful/powerful+), 5 - Power (Eco), and 5 - Joule (Eco)

Did anyone take advantage of the Vapor Shark sale this weekend - and if so, has yours really shipped? I had a shipping notice, but so far it's going nowhere (not shown as picked up). I'm impatient!

I did and it's in transit. May look a little funny with me 6'2" 205 walking down the street with a pink mod but I bet it'll vape fantastic. :)

I've ordered several mods from Vaporshark, and sometime the scan will get missed leaving the package in oompaloompa FL for a few days; only to have it magically show up.

I recently had a VS order go wonky. Showed it as picked up and then nothing, after a couple calls they determined that they never actually sent it and UPS Aired my order and threw in a free pack of ni-200 Atlantis heads. I did not have the heart to tell them when it came that they sent the wrong free juice lol.

Don't get me started on OompaLoompa (Opa Lacka) FL. Anytime something I get goes through that place, I know I'm fucked. Plan on the shipment staying there longer than necessary, and plan on adding 3-5 days to whatever the USPS quotes as my estimated delivery date

Not sure where Opa Lacka is but mine has Departed USPS Facility MIAMI, FL 33112 with an expected delivery of Friday. I would expect all their shipments to depart from the same location??? Even with that I think everyone knows how screwed up USPS is so I'm not holding my breath for a Friday delivery.

I think oompa loompa is the airport or the usps hub. In realty its a bend in the space time continuum where matter slips into a worm hole and gets trapped for a week.

I think it's the pits of hell! I often wonder if some shipments go through there while other do not is a function on the number of orders they ship that day (I.e standard mailing, or a bulk mailing), or if they have multiple distribution points, and some go through there while others don't.

I kid you not, I've had items that I've ordered go through Opa Lacka arrive the same day or later than items that I've ordere from the same company 2 weeks later arrive

So given all the mixed reviews and issues people are/were having, is there any reason i really would want to DL this latest patch if i don't really care about the ECO mode?

Can't seem to dig up patch notes, or whatever they call them, on what else the update is actually doing. Kinda sitting here with a "if it's not broken why fix it" mentality atm.

I would wait for a confirmed patch. I'm noticing improved battery life in and out of eco mode. In eco mode the battery life is drastically improved, other than that you get the option to turn off the gravity sensor, and upgrade to 150w in battle axe mode.
If none of those are a concern stick with the original firmware.
I upgraded both of mine, them took tthe upgrade off my backup

Oh yeah, the other bug is they swapped powerful and powerFU+ modes . they are still there but they swapped their position n the order

Few features, better battery with eco mode but also a couple new bugs. Think there should be another update in the next few days to fix the bugs so you may want to wait a little.
