Incidentally, @f13b1rd I got my new 26 gauge Ti from Unkamen. That nasty flavor is gone, so can only assume I didn't get the leads tight enough with the 24 gauge. (Wasn't it you who had the awful taste with Ti also?)

got my yihi made condoms today they fit much better then the the aftermarket ones. not super tight like the vaporshark ones but tight enough.doesn't slide off like the other ones. they also seem to be slimmer and of a different texture . much easier to set resistance with this one and also adjust joules or wattage. over all Im happy

I could fill this thread with BS dealing with them (Lost, Not delivered, Delivered but showed not delivered because no one was home for delivery & left a signature card in the box with the package, Not delivered because they stated no one was home for signature but my security system showed they didn't even attempt to deliver etc...). To add to the list my 2nd day Priority package that was supposed to be delivered today was not and still shows Departed Origin Facility Orlando.

Do the pre wicking temp burn with the Ti as suggested by Dre earlier in this thread. 600 degrees until it stops smoking, which was under 5 seconds for me.

Night and day difference in taste. Been using Ti non stop since with no complaints.

That's interesting, the 14 is dull and rough, it looks like an industrial use piece of chain stretched out, the 28 is shiny and almost polished finish.

I found the sleeves at MVS and got them from New York in three days. I'm in Missouri, btw.

As others mentioned, the sleeve is excellent. Great fit, no bulges, good feeling, protects 100% of the mod.

So today my screen went blank. Pull the battery out and back in I get the startup screen but thats it.

It will still fire, but screen is blank no matter what button you press.

Tried to update firmware but neither the program or firmware can be opened on my notebook. Looked at instructions online and I seem to be doing it correctly...

Well had thought I had something for you, but quickly saw I didn't so deleted my blurb, that's really messed up for the price and so new,
I stopped what I was doing and did some Googles and there is some mention on Reddit and some UK forums that they mention after trying to upgrade screen issues but no solutions as it appears at the moment, but I'll keep trying for you since I'm retired, no not retarded, well maybe a little.

I'm on good relations with my vendor at VapinArt in FL and where I bought mine so I'll give dude a call and see what he knows and try to help out for sure..

Yes, you are right on Evolv and it was my Vapor Flask DNA40 that I did accidentally put into stealth and thought the chip had screwed up and actually last year the DNA40's were really screwing up and Evolv had huge issues with that release of their chip,

Well today, I pulled the plug on a custom mod using the SX350J board (my SX M had a tragic ending). This will be a dual 18650 box with the 350J board upgraded to 150W. My real question comes in terms of joules for NI200 and TI wire (currently not using TI but do want to make the switch very soon). I realize I can get 150W in power mode, but does anyone know what the top limit will be for NI200 and TI. I read in this thread that you can get 75J for NI200 but it was fooling the device and it was only a single 18650 battery. I am a little confused on what I can expect once the mod is received so I thought I would ask those of you whom may have already experienced this or have more knowledge on it that I do.... Thanks in advance

Yes if your screen is blacked out I'd say that's a firmware issue, is that where you bought yours also vapinart?
Is yours the M class?
You probably need to check and see if it is still under warranty?
Have you watched any upgrading vids on the tube?
It may be a trick now with your screen issues, I haven't bothered upgrading as it's doing fine for me.
I don't like to fix or upgrade what's good already, just wish they'd come out with a for real battery cap

I'll expect for you, expect a very decent mod, but the chip is just the chip and did you have them build it for you or are you building it yourself, if it's the Boxer you got, and if so you should have had them also upgrade the YiHi for you at those prices, very spendy but looks rugged IMO

I cant imagine really needing more than 50J for NI. I do plan on trying TI so if that works for me, I believe the TI ceiling is higher than 50. Regardless I could always use power mode if I need to get higher than 50 but I never did with my SX M. The only reason I went with 150 W vs 60 W (standard 350J) was there was no price difference so it was a no brainer. For me, the biggest advantage was the dual batteries....

For the SXI driver you should be using this link for the SXmini M.

Its a .rar file and nothing on my laptop or notebook will open a .rar file. I don't think I've seen a .rar file before...
Even if I could get it to open, I couldn't do anything with it anyway because I cant get into the menu to turn firmware update on.

Just got home and pulled the battery out and reinstalled. Now I don't even get the startup screen and it will not fire at all. I haven't used it all day, this issue started this morning and was ready to have my morning vape with a cup of joe.

I have emailed yihi so I will see what they say. Vapin Art said yihi does not authorize replacements from a US distributor, I have to send it to China.

That's a real let down when you spend $200 and 1.5 months in its broke... and I have to mail it out for them to sit on it for month or longer.
My cheapo, months old Smok M50 is still working...

Rar is a compressed format just like zip... You can use winrar to open it and there are programs for every operating system out there that will unrar an archive

It is kind of silly for a company putting an expensive product out with software/firmware that's so janky that you have to rub your belly while patting your head and tie a blue bow around the device, not a red one or it will not work.
Whatever though, I'm sure I could work through it if the device worked and I could get my cpu to recognize a .rar file.

Make sure the file from their website is not broken???? How about remove the broken files from your website???

As mentioned above, there are a lot of free programs that will open a rar file, including the free trial of winzip. If that's expired that are a bunch more you can Google. You don't need to get into the menu on the SX to do the update. Pull your battery, install the driver on the PC, then plug in the SX. It'll work best (from my experience) with no battery in the SX.

That's BS, I've heard of some vendors that have tried to not take responsibility for warranty services but once Yihi was involved they coordinated a replacement with a US vendor. I've not read of one warranty claim that has had to be shipped to China. Did you purchase from Vapinart? If not I would suggest you contact the vendor you purchased from. Maybe they could help you with the extraction and installation of the software or perhaps even do the update for you. It's really a straight forward process. And no the files on their site aren't broken or bad, I've used them numerous times both upgrading and downgrading during testing.

Alternatively if you have a legit Sxmini M and it wasn't purchased in the grey market I'd suggest you contact Varitube.com, to the best of my knowledge they are the US authorized repair service for Yihi.

Yep, bought from vapin art. The guy I spoke with mentioned that they are a distributor... dealer... one of the two, forgot. He said it had to be sent back, hopefully yihi will say otherwise.

Hopefully yihi will have a solution besides shipping to china and waiting.

Typically the few instances of a failed product I've seen they have just swapped out the unit through either the original vendor or varitibe.
