I recently got thrown in jail for a speeding ticket here in Texas I did not know they put a bench warrant out for your arrest and the county jail is scary here they throw you in with everyone from axe murderes to psychotic m*th heads I learned my lesson but am going back to Chicago till fall

I do not get upset on the INTERNET I do at its infrastructure. I guess I could go nutz and like lease some huge ship and start cutting fiber lines in the ocean that would be upset at the INTERNET

If you want to chat about job stuff we can start a conversation I think a lot of the problem was you misunderstood what I was saying some of us have on going jokes no one did I belittle from your point of view it appeared that way. I am actually from 20 miles south of Chicago in Indiana where I was raised I moved to Texas as a teenager and grew up in San Antonio in the late 80's I moved back to Chicago and stayed way way to long. I came to Texas because of my Job and have been here again now for 4 years I have a house in Chicago I rent and a house here I am going back for personal reasons for the Holidays but I do understand about Houston many of the big cities have changed in Texas since I was a kid.. One thing I hate the most is all of this Fracking they are now doing and the huge amount of new Oil reserves they have found thats all it is now a state of oil.. With a corrupt justice system where all the Millionaires hide as everyone is paid off... I usually fly back and forth but I am driving this time new car and I need some unplugged time
thought I would share... Half my life in Texas half in Chicago and ohhh 2 years in Denver... I get to go to Boulder in January was suppose to go a few weeks ago but of course during the Holidays nothing gets done in Fortune 10 companies which is great I love getting paid to do nothing. VH fan

I agree my friend However, after 26 years in IT and being one the first chat systems in the world I can tell everyone that as vacant as RL may be it beats this Virtual world... I live on the computer due to work... I am required to be available 8 hours a day even if I am not doing work...Peoples relations have broken down.. People live in a text world a world of false images and fake idols to make themselves feel better as you said "The Vacances of life"
It is getting so bad that people can no longer communicate in RL I have seen this happen... Half my life was before computers and half my life has been totally emersed beyond most peoples understandings and I pick the life without.. Making a phone call is so much better than my blabbing right now with sleep deprevation and infromation overflow... there is no cure this is not an earth of God but of a Fallen angel.

Whats even saddens me more as I remember how I loved computers how whebn I was in ?College I lived there building old old machines and loving it looking to the future as something wonderful the truth is we just do not know what we are doing.. You would have to be blind not to see how tech is changing the World, while some things are worth it and helpful , many have had their lives taken over .
People seem to always try to be something that their not , they get caught up in the whole Celebrity crap and want to follow what others are doing (who cares what others are doing is my view) these people are seen as God like figures .

Stick around it's a good forum , on another note , yes, your right the owner can do as he pleases but i think it would be quite unwise for the people with power to not consider how other members may feel about things .
This happens all too often and it's that kind of thinking (i'll do whatever i damn well please) that makes people jump ship and curse the day they ever joined . Look at ECF , most people hate them with a passion and it's because the people in power do as they please and generally don't care what the members think or say.
That mindset will always doom you eventually.
