FUCK YEA I'd love to be a mod, I deal with asshole people all day at my job so dealing with them on here would be a breeze lol

Short Answer: Yes, I would like to be a MOD.
Long Answer: Yes, I would like to be a MOD. I do have the time available to me and spend time on the board. I am opinionated, but believe I can keep that out of an issue when dealing with a forum/user issue. I grew up 'following the rules' and then went into the service and 'followed the rules again'. Yes, I was banned from the last message board I was on, but I brought that on myself intentionally.
I have recently quit smoking thanks to vaping, but have only been vaping since the end of August. My vaping knowledge is limited, but that is not a necessarily a requirement for a moderator I believe. There are a lot of places/sources of Information here on the VU. I believe a Mod should be able to point people in the right direction to get the best information possible, not necessarily know everything themselves. A moderator is just that, a moderator not necessarily an active forum poster. A moderator can be an 'active member' or just someone sitting in the background and just being online and available to help anyone with a issue or to deal with a issue that arises.
I do believe that everyone should has the right to express their own point of view so long as it does not violate the VU's rules on conduct and subject matter.
So now that I have filled the requisite forms, background checks have been completed and I have bored you with my answer during the 'interview process' I will go back to just being myself.

Farts are at their very best when held in long enough to mature.
I find if you hold a fart in long enough it just goes away

Sadly we mods have to watch this kinda out of the blue crap from brand new yet highly opinionated members without the means to send them directly to ECF!
