Refuses to fire sometimes. I know, I can clean the contacts and all, but I've meant to send it for the spa treatment since I got it just needed an excuse.
Had a Serpent mini taking up space, didn't care much for it. Got the idea to replace the twisted wire coil with the @JuicyLucy special (32gx2/40g SS twisted clapton), now I like the little bastard!

I'm doubting I'll order another shipment from Floris, people go apeshit over the 3D boxes being printed daily and all of a sudden I'm the asshole for expecting to get anywhere near what they pay for one of them. But then again I am completely fine with having a current half-dozen to play with at my leisure.
Otherwise, I need a logo, a fancy Italian-ish name and a secret society if I want to play in the current squonk league. Maybe then I can pull $800 for a device with a 2-year waiting list.

My wife just brought me a flyer from a place that does 3D printing. It looks like a mom & pops hole-in-the-wall place, you bring the file, they do the printing. I'm tempted to check out their prices just to see.Seems everyone is.

Most people are into cheap, disposable, never mind the quality type things and few appreciate the labor that goes into making a quality mod. We can call you Il Santo minimalus, put a fancy medieval/semi religious insignia on a box, call it CNC 3D wood il squankobox and charge $600, you are delivering the orders from 20015 because it takes that long to grow the tree branch the box is made from! Does that sound right?
I'll put a pile of shit on the box and call it "los poopios", make it a limited run of 2, claim the wood was naturally finished by Colombian baboon buttholes and the internets will explode.
At least I can still have fun while I'm doing it. I feel pretty sorry for folks who take piles of money up front for a list of mods and then try to sweat out the production without anyone getting pissed.
Maybe I shouldn't feel sorry for them at all, it could be fantastic, but I won't even let Dale send me a block of wood LOL
If it was live edge, I'd take a spokeshave to clean up a 4' piece, attach axe handles for legs and then take a chisel to the end to fit cobbler forms for it's feet. Usually a hot seller at the flea market when I make hallway tables. Or you've got a good start in making a killer buffet cabinet if you know how to do veneers.

This one's got a MM510, sapphire door and button with a kickass new Mulciber on top....
Did a little delrin ring thingy for the drip tip to keep it low, friction-fit to the outside of the very top chimney section.
This thing just rips & I'm loving it! So much flavor, awesome deck to build on, endless airflow adjustment and single coil. Checks all of my boxes and I'm buying another one tomorrow.
This one's got a MM510, sapphire door and button with a kickass new Mulciber on top....

Only one I find cool for 3D printed squonks are the ones from Anchor and that because the custom options make it interesting.
Edit: still need to build my Mulciber. Can't find a 510 drip tip in my stash tho ;_;
I can't even get mad really, I appreciate you guys that have bought my devices and vouch for me but the little things that I do differently don't make that much of a diffeeence to most people.
I chuckle when I see the contact points in most devices, so you have a silver strip but it's a tiny point of contact on a stainless tube or brass nut at the 510, yet they swear it hits "10x harder than anything"
Same goes with securing the strip to the enclosure. Most just look sloppy and that's not me I guess.
I'm still tempted to get lefty Lucy back for an overhaul because I know I can do better now.
We can rebuild her. Make her better. Stronger. Lol

Site is down currently but here. Runs for $60 (they just had a 25% of sale) Yep, single coil. 2 different rings, 1 or 2 slots. It's not full blown wide but it's a decent restricted lung hit

forgot I still had my Bachelor so took it's delrin tip from it. The build I have in it is too warm (staggered fused clapton) but it's a decent little vape. Didn't notice how loose the top cap is tho. Probably going to end up losing that sooner or later
