I did the math more than once and whenever I'm making anything related to vaping I'm doing it for around $4 / hour, usually less.
have had a lot of people scoff at some of my prices on scroll saw work. There is more involvement with doing that rather than using a laser or cnc. It's why mainly I just stick with furniture & duck carving these days
Most custom tips cost $15-$25. That guy's just a dick.

Well I had to replace my 1st Kanger Squonk bottle today. About 90 days and 1+ bottle of juice per day.

They are okay. There's a lot of personal preference involved. I much prefer the floris Orca boxes, which are machined delrin. When polished up and built well on the inside, they have a very smooth finish and perform admirably, and don't feel cheap at all. To me, they feel like what I'd expect if Apple made a mech mod.
There are clone frankenskulls on 3f and fasttech - they are molded ABS, not 3D printed. For the price (like $15 or so), they are fun to play with and fiddle with, but they need some work to perform really well. I've used a couple real Frankies, and at the time I really thought I wanted one. But to me, they weren't worth anything near the price they were commanding.
As far as comparing to a drip box, they are different. A full mechanical mod like a frankenskull or an Orca doesn't have a chip at all like the drip box does, so you don't get those protections. Just something to consider if you aren't confident with your building skills.

I assume you mean the clone,as it's pretty much impossible to get an authentic one.They are okay,but will need some modding.First off,throw the bottle away and get a real supersoft or 6ml square bottle.And I had to take the contacts out of mine and round the edges over with a dremel as it tore a battery wrap.You might have to slightly bend the positive contact also to prevent it from auto firing with a bottle and battery installed.
Vandy Vapes has been getting good reviews.If your talking about the pulse,that does look pretty sweet.

Best of luck with that! You'll have to wait a looong time before someone parts with their CC, best advice is to sign up with all the vaping forums and then get notifications on the classified ads.
And be aware that they are pricey, so it depends how you define a good deal.

Demand has always been there, the price is high but you're paying for top of the line quality. Let me put it this way: even when he had a few on sale, it was too rich for my blood.
Custom Classic is a work of art and well worth the cost. I own a number of Mod's and a few high end Mod's and this is certainly at the top. It will last multiple lifetimes and the elegance of its simple design is genius. I cannot recommend the Mod enough.

I just wanted to make sure Mike was aware of the price. A good deal on a CC and a good deal on, say, a Therion bf are in completely different ballparks and I wanted to be sure he knew that.
