Looks like that bottle cap and the contacts are getting pretty cozy there, no? o_O

Richard, owner of MMUK endorsed these guys on his Facebook page, I need to snatch a few more myself and this looks like the place!
I ordered three myself. They have the revision 3 versions. Already got a tracking number 10 minutes after I placed the order.

I was wondering if it's ok for the metal strip to be so close to the Stainless Steel bottle cap. Would it cause a short?

I was thinking of getting one myself and I have those YFTK bottles.

Not so much a short, the cap is essentially "floating" and not grounded, but there has to be some loss of power going through the cap I would think.
If the cap were touching metal someplace else it could be a bad time though....

Thanks for the info.

Was also wondering what kind of wire do u guys use on a Mech like this. I've been using SS316 on the regulated devices I have.

Does the slight fluctuation of Ohms matter if I don't build too low?

I've been using 316L on all the RDAs is use on mechs and I've never noticed that fluctuation causing any problems.

Same. SS316L all day, every day.
If it fluctuates, I either don't notice that much or just don't care.
I suppose the mech life did that to me.

Thanks for the confirmation.

The boxer clone would probably be the next one. As the Icarus and Frankenskull clones are too troublesome for me to modify:)

Some of us still use Kanthal, although we will use SS316 when we can. :) * adds a visit to Stu's to his list *

SS just tastes miles cleaner to me, I have a weird metal thing I suppose, that beautiful Damascus cap I have is pretty much useless to me; all I taste is carbon steel :xD:

I got mine too, not bad for a $14 squonker. I'm running mine with a Zion 22mm clone single parallel 26ga 316L 3.5mm around .35ohm, it hits pretty hard for a single bat mech. I've got a Wasp on the way and am wondering what is the drip tip you have on yours? I ordered a short black Derringer one when I ordered the rda but it looks much taller than yours.

I have no idea what drip tip this is from??? I found it in my desk and it worked perfect for the wasp. I think it may have come with the Axiom rta but not sure.

I got my purple one from Fasttech today.Still have a black one coming from 3fvape. The purple color looks good, but I have read that the black ones are actually grey like the frankie clones.Only thing I'm not pleased with is how loose the battery is on mine.It rattles around in the mod if you shake it.Will see if the black one does the same.Might have to tweak the contact a little to get a more solid connection.Does your's have that problem?

Mine was a bit loose when I got it but I just tweaked the contact a bit and no issues.

@JuicyLucy , any more news, opinions, likes or dislikes on the Chalice IV ? By the looks of it, it is a smaller Charm, too much air for me. @Rossum is playin' possum about it! All I really need to know is how it compares to the " N" :)

Wow - that's crazy!! Sorry to hear...

For a long time, I was "backwards" - I couldn't vape SS, it gave me a little cough.
But I think it was crap SS, cuz I tried again with a new source, and it's fine.

But in many of my favorite atties, I really prefer dual coils, and will still use kanthal or sometimes nichrome to hit the balance I want between resistance, mass, surface area, and ramp-up... Still, it's all simple single-wire stuff for my everyday vape..

r a single bat mech

Nope - been hoping Rossum would give his opinion, as he's the only one I know who has one yet, lol

The usual suspects (AKA, Todd) hasn't even reviewed it yet - and they kick him down all their gear

Guess I'll have to wait then... I was hoping for a Nuppin vs. Mulciber vs Chalice IV comparison from real people, not reviewers. So far, the Mulciber's vaping characteristics are comparable to the " N " according to a few people, notably @The.Drifter and that puts it high on my list.

Still don't have a Mulciber - must be falling down on the job, lol

Wish it was a smidge smaller on the outside diameter, but I really should try one

I see the Saint fell in and out of love with it very quickly

The Charm is still my go-to when I feel like some serious DL - it lives permanently on one of my Tmods . It's too finicky for a main driver for my style of everyday vaping, though I usually do vape it everyday, just not all day

I stopped just short of getting the Mulciber since a very nice person around here made me a deal I couldn't refuse:vino:.

I love AVS - their wire is pristine and the folks that run it are A1

Never really fell out of love with it, I just don't have enough devices to keep all of my toppers happy.
I've been running a single orca for a couple of weeks now, even my Typhon is lonely!
It's a killer atty for sure, and once you get the coil placement you prefer, it's a flavor machine!

Wait a minute here, will you! You, of all people, don't have enough mods? WTF? Is this like the cobbler without shoes?

LOL yep. Literally only have one device.
I have a couple others stashed away, but my EDC is really all I have

Edit: because, despite what a lot of people think, modding does not make you wealthy LOL

Can't compare it to a Charm; those didn't appeal to me at all.

Patience. I just got the thing a couple of days ago! :p

Just whipped up 630 mls of my cream-ry4

"Curse you Red Baron!"

I say this only because my wife much dislikes Ry4, it lingers & is too heavy to suit her. I love the taste of it and having no sense of smell I'm not bothered by the odor. Still, the old expression, "happy wife, happy life." Need to find a good Ry4 that doesn't linger so much.

once you get the coil placement you prefer,
...

Finding this more and more as I vape, get the variables all dialed in and you get the vape you desire, no matter the atty or mod really. Although, I also concur that vapers have a right to fashion & trends.
