Just put in an order for a DPM Li-Mo with DNA 60. They now come with lukkos silk bottles. Is it good to order an extra bottle? I guess I'd like to have an extra one if it comes with a cap like the spare bottle of the VT inbox. Any feedback from silk users?

Not sure the silkies come with a cap, but you could get the yftk bottles from FT at a fraction of the cost. There are two types, the ones with a bit of knurling on the top metal cap are the silicone ones.

Just got a notification that my boxer squonk clone is out for delivery. I don't know if I am excited about or dreading opening the mailbox today. That Galactika failure still has me grumbling... Lol

Silk bottles do not come with caps. I think there are caps for the new Cappies or the Dee Mods bottles. Not sure. Memory hazy on that because I'd rather just bring a juice bottle or a refiller bottle.

Just in from the UK, super solid little guy from Minimal Mods.
I messaged Jo the modder to let him know I received it, and mentioned that it came with a different door than I was expecting, and he said he'll shoot me the door I wanted in the mail asap. Now THAT is cool.
I'm going to wait to fire it up just yet, expecting a 24mm Apocalypse & bf pin from Armageddon to get here in a couple days. Excited to try these bad boys out!

So Rob actually sold REO

https://www.reosmods.com

Ya know, I've wanted a REO since forever. Legitimately it's always kinda been in the back of my mind as 'I need to get one of those' since vaping attempt number... One or two. Years ago. But mech, and I promised myself I wouldn't get one til I actually felt comfortable with it/had learned all the important bits.

But I keep getting distracted and never have done that and hmm. Kinda weirded out atm.

I simply took the plunge a few years back - it was my first real mod

Is probably the only way I'll ever get around to figuring it out. Buy a mech, be scared of it, learn cuz 'Damn it, I bought the thing, may as well be able to use it!'

My procrastination ability will overcome anything short of that, I imagine lol

Just make sure you get some good batteries with at least a 20 amp continuous discharge rate (CDR) and stay above a .2 ohm. Hold and you'll absolutely be fine. Easy peasy!

I'm afraid that resale value of REO's made under Robert versus the new crew will skyrocket. I've seen similar happenings with vintage razors and the like. Now would probably be the time to pick one up whether used or new.

And a little over 1 year from now they start enforcing the FDA Deeming Regs as applied to the vaping industry.

so unless you are certain that the Deeming regs will be shot down for vapin get yer hardware before then and learn how to DIY. And stock up on NIC concentrate.

DIY is the current 'next thing'. Working on figuring out the most cost efficient method of acquiring the basics.

More cuz I'm a picky bitch than anything else, admittedly. No cream/milk, no bakery, not super sweet, etc etc is pretty stinkin' difficult to shop around. Paranoia relieving will be a nice side effect though.

It just showed up this afternoon. It's not "in service" yet. Dry-huffing it wide open makes me certain that it's got way more airflow than I'll ever need, but that's not saying much.

Definitely interested in your take on it

Might I suggest going to the HIC''s thread and asking him for advice? He's a very accomplished diy-er with great recipes. He and the folks in that thread can help you in deciding on recipes and ingredients.

The Lost Vape drone has been leaking and allowing the top of the battery cover to get a little wet, not sopping but a few drops of juice.

I took it apart and found they had partially stripped one of the top plate screws at the factory, so it wasn't holding the top plate tight to make a good seal with the 510 connector. Upon further examination they had machine screws put into the plastic battery sled holding the button plate on. Since machine screws don't work to good in plastic they had glued them in...

I dug out 3 M2 SS Cap screws and replaced the top plate screws, along with changing the glued in machine screws for some self tappers. It's all good now.

白痴 must have put mine together at 4:45 on a Friday... :cuss2: :giggle:

Ok, first thoughts on the boxer squonk clone. The bottle is the same crap that comes in the Frankie clone. Replaced with one of the silicone bottles I got from FT and works great. It's definitely not 3d printed, but is solidly built to my suprise. Everything fits together nicely. 510 is similar to the Frankie but I think is an improved version. The chinesium contacts actually hit quit hard so I'll leave them as is.
The button is firm and I don't think the button lock was necessary but it is a added safety measure.
All in all I think it's definitely worth the money for a beater mod.
I'll let y'all know after a few weeks how it holds up.

I got mine too, not bad for a $14 squonker. I'm running mine with a Zion 22mm clone single parallel 26ga 316L 3.5mm around .35ohm, it hits pretty hard for a single bat mech. I've got a Wasp on the way and am wondering what is the drip tip you have on yours? I ordered a short black Derringer one when I ordered the rda but it looks much taller than yours.

I got my purple one from Fasttech today.Still have a black one coming from 3fvape. The purple color looks good, but I have read that the black ones are actually grey like the frankie clones.Only thing I'm not pleased with is how loose the battery is on mine.It rattles around in the mod if you shake it.Will see if the black one does the same.Might have to tweak the contact a little to get a more solid connection.Does your's have that problem?
