Finally the last sqounker i ordered on my spending spree has showed up. The Steam Rabbit. To my surprise it came with a Cappy v4rs Kompakt. I love those bottles. Even more than the Lukkos Silk becuase they are super soft silicone but its a thicker silicone so there easier to take in and out without getting juice everywhere. I hear the Dee Mods bottles are similiar but i dont need anymore bottles at the moment. I have 2 Da One bottles coming and 3 SJMY silicone bottles coming. I am tempted to buy some of the Dee Mods bottles becuase there is a group buying going on in SqounkMerica FB group. I must resist....

Anyways here are some pics of my latest pick up. This thing is tiny...

Very nice @Nevweezy. Are you trying to give @Train and @JuicyLucy a run for their money?
I dont think i will be able to do that. :teehee: When i get into something though, i usually go all out. So i do see myself getting alot of new gear now that ive fell head first into the sqounking rabbit hole. I have alot of Higher end mechs and dna mods to sell, so that should help fund my new addiction for now. :shades:

Be cool to put one those new dead rabbit rda's on there lol.
That might actually be a nice pairing...

Putting the Dead Rabbit on the Steam Bully would be more appropriate!!

I tend to like resistance a bit higher - from 0.4 to 0.5, but that's just how I vape. Long deep slightly restricted draw.... If I didn't change my draw or aiflow, then a 0.2 ohm build would "scorch"...

So far, I'm doing alright with a dual kanthal set up at 0.3 (R)oHm, ymmv of course. :) I built that yesterday in order to experiment. I mixed 1 ml of Ry4 flavoring with 8.5 ml of unflavored base for a rough 10 ml sampler. The experiment part? See if my wife noticed. Results are that she did not. :) I think perhaps the Ry4 I used before had too much other mixed with it, such as maybe some caramel. I can still get hints of the vanilla from the bit I got going now. For me that suits. :)

I'm wondering how the door's held on. Both sides come off, and I saw one mod like that where the ONLY thing holding the door in place was magnets to the battery - which seems like a bad design. You push the bottle, the bottle pushes the other side off....
I mean, if it's SOLID, then OK - the Signature SQ is like that, but has like 10 magnets on each side, holding the door to the BODY, not the battery.

Anyway - other than that, looks like a cute box.
:)

Thank you for a super reply! :) The doors cling to the battery yes, as seen here at 10:16:

Thanks for mentioning that, as I will use my money on something else. :)

A good day for me today in bookbook land, finally won the Runt randomizer...
Excited to pick out my colors, I keep going back & forth but I think I've decided to go all moss green alumide.
And so completes my Runt Hunt!
...quite a rush when your name pops up on the randomizer. Like I'm getting permission from my wife or somethin..
Yay! I GET to spend money!

Congrats, Runts look like awesome little sqounks. I think my next sqounk will be a 20700 mech sqounker. Just have not came across the right one. There is a group buy in the Sqounk'merica group for a RC mods full stabwood 20700 mech for 225 from Russia. I been contemplating it but im strapped for cash right now. Just sold a mech to help out with all the cash i spent the past couple weeks. I really need to calm down on the spending but i cant seem too.

Thanks dude. I'm right there too. This rabbit hole is deeep and lonnnng...
It was bad enough before I discovered squonking, I love accessorizing and thought I was bad with drip tips.. now all the doors, topcaps, bottles, battery wraps, etc.. adds up! So much fun but my wallet is hurting.
Cool to discover all this because I wasn't really a mech guy and I was in a funk about all the new flashy regulated gear.
Simple is good! With a healthy dose of matchy matchy.

Wait a minute! You win the opportunity to buy something?
Yep, you win a chance to give them your money...lol Its an easy way to decide who gets to buy mods that are in limited production. Some of these custom sqounks are really hard to get ahold of.

Ha... YEAH! It's all the rage!!
Well, and it's custom.
Buying stuff in stock is SO 2016 dude.

lol :D:D

Pull out the phonebook and look up the closest bookstore?
Since we're driving, let's drop off that roll of film to get developed!
Maybe stop by Blockbuster on the way back, rent a movie on VHS?
Heck it's a nice day, "roll" down the windows, and pop a cassette in!

Did someone say 'pop a cassette in' ?
How 'bout this 1980 chart topper...

Heads up @Nevweezy & anyone who might be interested, nice buy.. Toaster bundle on the Squonkers Paradise B&S group, dude just dropped his price on this. $130 shipped in the US. It's a manufacturer model not a DIY.

That is a good deal for the price. Extras too. Im trying to get my hands on a Thir13en but i know my chances are slim to none. I would swoop that one up but im trying to save my money for either a 20700 or a higher end mod like the Thir13een. Those Half mods are badass too. Just so hard to get.....That TD sure is tempting though...

Catfish at the other place has DNA 75C 20700 mods for sale. I have one, great mod after he figured out what was draining the batteries when turned off.

Similar taste, I guess!!!

Top of my now-almost-reasonable list:
Half
Thir13en Mech
and maybe a black Typhon RDA.

There's other stuff I might grab along the way (cough cough Boxer cough), but those are my top 3 pricey "wants".

You my friend have good taste:shades:

I'm looking at boxer 20700.... But I'd have to get batteries and new charger jezz never ends.

Been thinking the same thing. Want to dip my toe into mech squonking. Luckily I already have 4 20700's and a charger that can charge em all at the same time. New Nitecore.

I was considering a boxer clone, but saw a couple reviews and from the looks the only thing they share in common are the looks on the outside. Internals are completely different and one guy even had the fire button getting stuck on him and even being able to LOCK in the fire position....

Problem is. My new lil mech squonker is going to be a beater mod and I dunno if I'd feel ok with spending that much on something that's gonna be pocketed, scratched, handled with dirty hands, etc.

I like the size and the form factor though. Also you don't have to stock a facepuke group for chances to buy one.

Get a Toaster Design then via shapeways...create an account, load it with $200 bucks of stuff, then wait 2 days...Shapeways will send you a 25% off link, remove the items you dont want, and have a 20700 mod for about $55 bucks...add in your MM510 and copper and or silver contacts and have a pretty decent mod for under $80

That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea lol. That would require me to build it though? Poking around on the site a bit. Not sure if I trust myself to build my first mech lmao.

One the main reasons I was considering the boxer was the locking switch. My thinking is it's going to be in my pocket while I'm on my motorcycle. I wouldn't be able to hear it firing. I'm sure I'd probably feel the heat though.

The boxer the only one with a locking switch?

Only experience I have with mechs is my iHybrids made by a guy named faceless. His first version of his switch had a lock on it. His second version had the switch recessed. Those were AIO tube mods though.

My other question about mechs. Will a single coil allow longer battery life as opposed to duel coils?? Or is it just the ohms that effect that?

That top fire button though... Price is right for a beater mod. Maybe I shouldn't be so damn picky lol.

Agreed! Top fire button is not my favorite either, but you can get a few for the price you're gonna pay for a 3d printed one. I'm not crazy about them, mech in general, but they are the better choice and the front squonk made it easy for me to decide. The wait from China though, that's another story.

TD has a 510 lock ring... pop door off, swirl, blocks the contact to the 510

Its really not hard to assemble a squonker. Even cutting the contacts...on the FB page of TD, he has the contact designs there where you can print them out, trace them onto the metal sheet of choice...and cut away with a pair of Sheet metal snips...Don't sell yourself short...

I know this is a battery question but trust you bonkers. Why can't you charge a 20700 on a nitecore they would fit I would think cause they are not that much taller than 18650. Or is there another reason?

If it fits it will charge... plus in the Mech thread, forget who it was, but they posted a pic of the ijoy 207s in a D4 from Nitecore.
