Also, notice that is a 24mm Goon on the CV. 22mm on the Pico
That brass is taking on a nice patina, Lucy.
That's right professor Spankman
So when is the Goon Lp coming out again?
I have a few brass tube mechs. Don't like the smell. But love the look. Thanks, I'm letting that one go natural
I have a second one in the box still that I plan on keeping shiny if I ever whip it out

Right but they smell when I vape em and and make my hands stink. The internals are not brass, so no brass taste on the squonk, lol

Did not figure they were like that POS Geyscano.
I always have at least four squonkers loaded at all times.....
Hmm...I know the smell, but have yet to have it come off of this combo.
The brass setup is named Chesty Morgan and are a dedicated to each other, lol
I've been drooling over the REO mods page, I'm afraid I'd have to sell some of my stash to raise the cash for the P67.
All these pictures, thank you all. Trigger was pulled, now the waiting game begins.
Don't go out of your way on my account. I'm getting the idea, all of you are a bunch of enabling trouble makers and I love being a part of the group. Thank you. Now I have to check out the classified ads for a part time job to pay for all the new toys.... or maybe I should get a second full time jobWill take pic tomorrow.
Are they really aluminum? The originals are stainless steel.Softer than say, the CV standard bottle, nowhere near as soft as a real Italian bottle.
The hole in the aluminum cap is smaller than the typical tubing on the CV, REO, etc.
Wha'cha takin'bout Willis? At some point, I'm going to upgrade the guts on one of these and they will be a forever squonker

Problem with the REO is that parts cost a fortune IMO. I recently bought a new door, a few bottles, springs, positive contacts and screws and it was almost $100. Nuts when a bag of CV spare parts is under $2 and bottles are standard 10ml ones I can buy for 20-30c. The only weak point on the CV that I can see that isn't currently a simple part order from China is the feed pin.You know, these CVs are so good, you almost don't need an REO. I do like the side squonk on the CV better, but a proper atty is a must.

Would it help if I made the switch blade out of sterling silver?

LOL!!! Got one you're selling??No you don't. Only way to get them is second hand lol
Meant to mention this previously: The Italian bottles were intended to be used with 4mm OD tubing, while the standard tubing used on REOs and most other US-made mods had been 3/16", which is about 4.75mm OD.The hole in the aluminum cap is smaller than the typical tubing on the CV, REO, etc.
Seriously, would making the switch blade out of sterling silver, fine silver or argentium make a difference?
Also, notice that is a 24mm Goon on the CV. 22mm on the Pico
Sadly, that never stopped me.....Also notice the Goons cost up to three times the expense of the mods

Evening fellow squonkers......
LONG day, Juice....was in Nevada at 9:00 AM, back to Arizona just after dinner.......`sup Dale?

Nope even though FT said SS. All except the brass one is aluminum. Are they really aluminum? The originals are stainless steel.
Not the clones. Also notice the Goons cost up to three times the expense of the mods
I dunno I got an alum one from FT and it took the V1 repair kits.@BreSha6869 , was that you in the FT forum? Did you get your mods yet? Which parts kit should I order? V1 or V2?
They are more exciting if made from Magnesium.Seriously, would making the switch blade out of sterling silver, fine silver or argentium make a difference?
Not the clones.
Hmm have 2 clones and no issues thus far.Not those two - but, the quality is higher than the clones. I believe they'll last much longer than the dollar equivalent in the same amount of clones in this case.
I got a clone first. It is broken already and I can't figure out how. The top cap is out of true and will no longer fit on the deck
Hey!@BreSha6869 , was that you in the FT forum? Did you get your mods yet? Which parts kit should I order? V1 or V2?
For $3 get both. The only difference is the button. The other parts are interchangeable & they are the pieces you may really need.@BreSha6869 , was that you in the FT forum? Did you get your mods yet? Which parts kit should I order? V1 or V2?
Actually making it from solid potassium would be a blast Literally! They are more exciting if made from Magnesium.
