Squonkers are Bonkers

Hey now the Disguiser is just a bit bigger than the best selling mod of 2016. the RX200.

And now the 4 battery mods.....

I was just ahead of the curve :)

I went through a dual battery mod faze. Discovered I'd rather carry an extra batt or another mod, especially since a squonker is dual batt size anyway. I can have different builds and flavors if I want to change things up.

Been playing with the software for the Dripbox 2.
You can set the TCR values for the default TC wire types.
they come set for 9 for SS. I use SS316 from Lightning Vapes and I find that setting to 12 works nicely.
You can set temp and power curves under the M1-M5 settings.
You can even set the messages it displays for new coil/old coil, etc.
It does not have a message for dry coil. I was going to change that one to Squonk Stupid!

The mod must be powered off to connect to the program.
Start the program then hook up USB cable to mod. And you are off and running.
Remember to write the changes to the mod.
Do you save the changes in some sort of file that you can restore the mod with if it goes tits up on you? Kinda like in Escribe?

Is there a BF pin for the Vicious Ant Cyclone?

They do/did have a BF version of the Cyclone but as far as I know, there was never an option to purchase a factory BF pin separately. There are folks who have converted non-BF versions however.

If you go to vicious ants web page they sell a bf version

So then the problem for me would be to find the extra pins so I can dicker with at least one and see if I can BF it! Thanks @NGAHaze

I'll see if I can't measure the pin on mine ... it seems like a fairly common atty pin so a pin from another atty might actually work if the diameter were the same. I just need to remember where I left the calipers, lol.

I would think the Cyclone would be quite comparable to a Nuppin, vapewise. (Which would be a good thing)
The cyclone is probably the creme de la creme for flavor attys.
I've vaped SEVERAL different attys and quite honestly it is top tier in my book.

Thank you, I just went to their website. Unless I'm going to the Phillipines and buy it there, I will look elsewhere. They want $50 for shipping and $4.64 for PayPal handling fees. WTF??? I'm crazy, not stupid and it seems they don't know the difference between the two.

No shit? FUUUUUCK that noise

Sure as hell wish you did and shared them with the rest of us! I did manage to raise the the SS value from 9 to 14 and now life is good. Does that work on the DB160 also?
Not tried it and there is no reference to the DB160.

Edit: Tried it an nope program does not recognize a DB160. I think it is an older series chip?

What version do you have?

While the flavor is good in the V1, mine runs way too hot and the air-flow options are a joke. And I never built mine under 1 ohm

It was a v2 with the airflow drilled out...

Like a jackass I sold it

I should pull mine out of the box of unloved vape gear and give it another whirl - it's been about a year

I would if I still had it... I used to build about a 0.7-0.8 on mine

Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I'm gonna see if I can find it - I've been sorting vape stuff the last few weeks and nothing is where I'm used to it being, lol

So much for "organizing"

Screen Shot 2017-01-29 at 8.24.46 PM.png It is more flavorful than I remember - but six drags and it is hotter than hell with a .98 Kanthal build

Super tight draw - that has got to be the teeniest airflow hole in the history of vaping

That's why mine was drilled out... And probably why I sold it.
I would can't bring myself to buy another one then put a drill to it.

I was still somewhat restricting the airflow on the Chalice when I got this, and it was too tight then.

Back in the day, you had to do what you had to do as far as BF atties go. But with great selections in all price ranges available these days, can't see hassling with it.

I should sell it - it is solid and very well machined. Goes to together like a hand in a glove. Just holding the thing oozes quality - and it's a pretty little thing.

Yeah, never used them with the standard cap much.
The AFC cap makes it a nice vape... I wouldn't say as good as Nuppin, but similar tiny chamber and similar airflow...

My first squonking setup, from 2 1/2 years ago!!

Actually...my memory tricked me - I DID use the standard cap a while.
In fact, for a while, I collected all the TIGHT draw bf atties!
And the airhole on a Reactor made the Cyclone look loose, lol.

Haha, I did too. When you smoke for almost four decades like I did, your lungs can't do much more for quite awhile

Most stuff I have is not worthy, FT and the like or the less expensive tanks. The moonshi...I mean shot, theorem, Merlins (2 in SS) one Merlin mini SS. The Chalice stays, I really like this and when you said the Cyclone is a tight draw, my ears perked up. I also have the Nautilus rba v1 and v2 but in all honesty, they are a PITA to built. The deck is roughly the diameter of a pencil.
