Man, what a letdown. My stainless caps from my previous two Basic 1.1s don't fit the black Ti deck, but the smoked, clear, and black ultem all fit.
Got a message in with an admin of the group to find out what in the hell that's about.

If it fits without the O-rings, thinner oring change... There was another company that had a similar issue also on FB...want to say its the MissionXV peeps...but it was their SS caps fitting loose compared to the others.

What do u guys think of the pico squeeze 2 ??? And will it fit a 24mm??

Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I will say with all honesty, I think its ugly...Pico Squueze 2 dimensions are
  • Dimensions: 56 x 28 x 97mm (W x L x H)
and the Coral dimensions are 24 with a 26mm ring it looks.

Now as for if its a good mod...haven't read or heard anyone saying anything bad about its performance, outside of the RDA itself.

"Not 67" ... unless Not means something else down under ;)

I don't want him to win #1 or #2... and not like he would boast about being #3 and post that as an accolade especially if it says, "Not..."

Finally received my Cthulhu 1928 yesterday and I'm impressed. The flavor is pretty darn good which I think is a result of the bottom airflow and the inner chamber/chimney which comes in at 12.5mm I.D. The second smallest airhole is the perfect draw for my taste, fairly tight. The curved top and drip tip look a bit goofy imo but it's very comfortable for mtl.

Cons: very deep well and the juice doesn't drain back out like the cyclone. Also you're limited to simple builds that are short in length due to the width of the post and inner chamber.

Pros: due to the above, I can get 20 or more drags before I even have to think of squonking. Great flavor. I've got vanilla custard in both it and the cyclone and honestly, the difference is negligible.

Had mine couple of weeks and agree on everything you said. I dripped on it for a while and it worked great for dripping but couldn't keep the squonk pin out lol. But yeah wish you could put some little bit wider coils in it. But it is my first mtl also. And I am becoming quite the todlepuffer lol.

It definitely has an old school look about it - sadly, the no drain makes it a no go for me

And how does it compare to the Cyclone?

And how does it compare to the Cyclone?

I'm vaping the same flavor and strength (12mg) in both rdas and it's hard to taste any difference. Maybe a slight edge to the cyclone but could be the build. 1.5mm, 28awg kanthal .9Ω contact coil in the cyclone vs 2.5mm, 26awg SS slightly spaced coil, .56Ω in the Cthulhu. I think I'm going to try a 2mm contact coil in the Cthulhu tomorrow around .8-.9Ω and see if the flavor is even better.

The cyclone is 16mm (I think) and the Cthulha chamber is 12.5 with the air coming straight up so overall, the chamber is even smaller than the cyclone even though it's 22mm O.D.

But yeah, it's a good mtl vape... basically a squonkable kayfun.

The draw, man! How is the draw on it? Cyclone tight?:gaah::wait:
Seriously, I really appreciate your input. I think I remember you saying you're getting three different rdas, how is that going? I know time is in short supply, but your opinions help a lot. Cyclone is my standard so....

It has four airholes and the second smallest is similar to my cyclone. I don't think a tight draw will be a problem.

I've tried the Ammit which just wasn't for me. I got a hollow, metallic vape from it, if that makes sense. I also have the Etna that finally came in. I may toss a build in it later today or tomorrow. The Cthulhu is a good vape if you don't mind the non-draining juice well and the long wicks. But the coil is far enough from the well that there's no risk of burning/caramelizing the juice.
cheers

Have tried maybe 15 different squonk attys.
My fav that suits me best is the Wasp Nano.
Have you tried the comet either authentic or clone? Pretty solid. Imo I feel like the wasp, the haku, and the comet offer really similar vaping experiences. There are some differences yes, but in terms of flavor those are pretty comparable.

I am in the same boat as you.. I feel like the new stuff out is pretty cool and all, but I don't really care for the majority of products being released. I have a cellphone, I don't need a mod with a big screen on it. Infact I hate mods with anything more than maybe the look of a 75c. Anything more than that is just not my style. I thought when I first started vaping that the new product Jones I was having would last forever. I think what got me away from it was because I just cannot afford much. And the fact that I need to be thankful for every little thing I have. I have stopped drooling over the things I don't have and started keeping the things I do have very well maintained and cleaned.

At this point I'm cool with getting an RDA or RTA ever couple months or so. I have a new rule that if I cannot build it myself, I have no interest in the mod.

Damn you Christmas and gift buying for family!

There is a knife I want that hasn't been around in years and was just given the green light on a short run of 628 units! Uggh

PM2 in 204P... I want it so it can share desk space with my other PM2s... that and its one of the more sought after PM2s outside of S90V in CF....

Oops I hit the Purchase button... damn you knife shinyitus, you're more expensive than vaping.

I feel you mate. With regards to vaping gear, I tend to go off grid in the spring and then go nuts and play catch up in the fall/winter. Works for me.

But one rda that passed me by last spring was this baby:
2018-12-19 18.42.08.jpg

Yeah, I missed out on the recurve but after picking one up about a month ago, I'm in love. Also picked up the Profile (mesh) but for me it's like 'meh' compared to the recurve which has even knocked my krmas into 2nd spot.
The first rda with an 810 tip that I've ever truly enjoyed. Perfect air draw for my taste on lung hits, super easy to build - can wrap my coils either direction, can get 22mm conversion caps for my older mods and picos, drains well, easy to look down and watch the juice as I squonk, very leak resistant and (drum roll)...
great flavor. I even bought a 2nd for my other pico.
2018-12-19 18.37.04.jpg

Did I say I like this rda? Am I gushing? Ayup, and it only cost me 1/3 the price of a krma.
